Super cool atmosphere, great drinks, one of my fave spots. Their drinks are always on point, never had a bad one, but their food can be kind of hit and miss. Super delicious corned beef with mashed potatoes; disappointing BBQ wings. Great burger; bummer of a salad. Go to enjoy the ambiance, the drinks, the music when they have it, just don’t expect too much from the menu.(Avoid the reuben tater tots — that’s just a stomachache waiting to happen.)

I went for trivia and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I wasnt originally going to eat, but other’s food tempted me. Loved both my shepherd’s pie and the salad. Service at the bar was great and prices were moderate but not inexpensive. I think i will try to come back again for live music and food. Good mix of professional people of all types.

Live music here on Sunday nights are the best. That’s what keeps me coming back. It’s busy here so service is just as what you would expect from a busy bar, but servers are pleasant when available. Pub food is decent as well.

Wilde Rover is amazing!!! We had reservations at another place that lost our reservation and then turned us away because we were a «biker» club. In reality we were celebrating a new Washington chapter of a public safety/service group and this was a big night for us. Wilde Rover accommodated a 20+ person group with 5 minutes notice. We had a gorgeous private dining area with sofas and leather highback chairs, a fireplace and giant tv! We had our own stellar, out of this world waitress(Corey), amazing service, drool worthy food, and so much more!!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could, they never disappoint and are a rockstar in our books!

This place is a pretty spacious Irish Pub with a really relaxed atmosphere. We were walking in Kirkland and decided to go here over the lodge. Their menu was straight forward and non confusing, which I love. They had great lunch items and had a Panera like offering where you can pick three items for a lower price. I had the halibut & chips with the pub salad and my boyfriend had the pick 3 lunch option(Reuben + salad + soup). He loved his Reuben and caesar salad(thought the seafood soup was okay). Ive had better fish and chips but I was thoroughly satisfied. If you go here during lunch time, head towards the back and sit by the windows for a nice view of the water and the park.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning after Church and they have a great menu! We had the corned beef and hash with poached eggs which was brilliant and the corned beef with cabbage which was as scrumptious… They are also one of the few places where you can order a cider… Though they don’t have a big selection of ciders, they had Magners — which is not half bad… We are gonna come back again to try more of he menu for sure. Their place is super huge as well — love the spacious place!

This place was great! Our server was attentive and friendly but didn’t hover. The food was super yummy. The curried chips left an amazing zing of spice on my tongue. The open face streak sandwich was tender and tangy from the blue cheese. The balsamic glaze and well roasted mushrooms complimented the flavors well. The rest of the menu is very intriguing. I will visit again for sure. I also enjoyed the ambiance. It is large enough while still having room for privacy. The music is also super enjoyable with both early Black Keys, Kings of Leon and Artic Monkeys.

Well, I just have to give Wild Rover 5 * because this is where I met my boyfriend 3 years ago. And also because everything we had there; fish and chips, bangers and mash, lamb burgers, salads, soups, or sandwiches is always delicious and spot on. The interior is your typical Irish pub; casual, cozy and laid back. On weekends there’s often a band playing. Finding parking can be a challenge, so if you can consider walking. For any parking or walking inconvenience, the pub compensate with a nice patio overlooking the lake, which can be enjoyed weather permitting.

Visited Wilde Rover on a Sunday night. The Seahawks game was playing on the big screen and on television screens throughout the bar, which attracted a large crowd – not as large as I would have expected. There was a live band, and I was asked to pay the $ 5 cover at the door, which wasn’t too bad. If you don’t have cash, the bouncer will take your ID and have you pay with your card at the bar. You won’t get your ID back until you produce the receipt showing you paid the cover. He wasn’t very nice about it. When I got to the bar, there was an open seat. I waited about five minutes to try to get the bartender’s attention(and of course he was swamped because there was a game playing). I just wanted to pay my dang cover so I could go relax. Finally, the bouncer came up to the bar and got the bartender’s attention to charge me the cover price. I guess it was making him anxious too! I showed up earlier than my friends, so I sat at the bar and ordered a White Russian. The bartender was pretty friendly, but really busy. I thought $ 6.50 wasn’t too bad for the drink. While I sat there and watched the remainder of the game, I got approached by two older guys. I guess that happens at every bar – and it isn’t the bar’s fault. I loved the ambiance, and I thought it was cool they have live bands. Overall, a decent experience. Next time, I’ll have to try their food.

Nice, cozy neighborhood pub. The live music is a nice feature but can be very loud regardless of genre/performer. Food is OK, but you really go for the drinks. There’s a nice mix of European beers and local microbrews on draft. It does get busy during late night, so go before 8 or else be prepared to wait for a table. Street parking only and, since its downtown Kirkland, can sometimes be difficult to find.

LOVED this place. I’m visiting from Colorado, and stopped here for a late lunch. I had the happy hour Caesar(fresh lettuce, decent dressing) and the happy hour Irish poutine. That poutine, man… Omg. I’m Canadian and super picky about my poutine, and they totally nailed it. The décor and atmosphere is pretty standard Irish Pub fare. The place is quite spacious, and there are lots of windows that make it feel very open. I would come here all the time if I lived around here!

Large and noisy, but with decent food, decent service, and enough craft beers on tap to be worth a visit now and then. If you like quiz nights, they have those too. If you like live bands, sit up front. If you don’t, and there is one playing, sit in the back(or outside, season and weather permitting).

Finally made it back to Wilde Rover last night. Once again we were there to hear the band that was playing, but went early to have dinner. Unlike our last visit here, the service was great. Our server, Corey, was excellent. She was attentive and personable and accommodating. While the the S/O didn’t care for having coleslaw on her pulled pork sandwich, I was quite pleased with my steak sandwich. Wilde Rover has a great atmosphere and good food. As odd a pairing as it may sound, the lemon curd and blueberry dessert is awesome.

This is a really cool Irish bar in Kirkland. They have lots of live music and a great beer selection. Everyone told me I had to play their shuffleboard so I tried to get a game in but the line defeated me before I played. Good mix of younger and older folks here. I really liked the feel of this bar/restaurant. I didn’t try the food but I hear it’s excellent.

I took a friend from out of town for breakfast at Wild Rover. She ordered Irish Benedict and I ordered Corned Beef Hash. It tasted and smelled like it’s been sitting for a week. Sadly to say, it was the worse I ever had and I love corned hash. More so, my friend said her egg Benedict was not good either. We both walked out of there still hungry. Ended up stopping at another restaurant for food. My friend is giving 1.5 stars. I would give 2 the most. –Bobbie

First time in and was very pleasantly surprised. An upscale pub with character and good food. Ordered the salmon for two — cooked perfectly to order and the sauce was really unique and great tasting. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were on the high side but the quality was worth it.

Decent Irish Pub, sandwiches are ok. The atmosphere and drink selection are the bigger draws.

Do you need a cozy, reliable place to meet up with friends? Here’s your place! My 81 year old grandfather used to request that I take him here, and I still suggest it when I’m out in Kirkland with friends. You will get friendly, efficient service and a nice selection of menu options. The bar is chill, and the patio is AWESOME.

I went here for around 8pm on a Friday night. It wasn’t terribly busy, we got sat right away. Our waitress wasn’t rude, but I asked her suggestion on a cocktail and it was terrible. It was the Celtic cocktail and it was sooooo sweet. I switched it for an el Diablo which was just as bad. It wasn’t sweet, the drink itself was just bad. I just decided it’s best to stick to wine and beer there. Which makes sense, …I guess for an Irish pub. My theory is that if they offer it, they should make it good. No matter what style of restaurant it is. I asked the waitresses opinion again for dinner… Because obviously I never learn. Spice chicken or seared scallops? She said scallops, I got scallops. What felt like 40 minutes later our food came out… Cold. Not warm, literally cold. It’s about 9:30−10 at this point so I ate it… And left for the first and last time. Maybe I just came on a bad night… But the drinks and the food were not good. I gave it a 2 star rating for the décor and live music. Those were the only two things this place was good for.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s pretty decent pub food. The lunch deal(soup/sandwich combo) is pretty good for its size. Servings are decent(half a sandwich and fries is already pretty filling!). I’m not a huge fan of the seafood chowder, but the fish and chips were pretty good. And I love that you can get curry sauce with your chips here. Dinner seems to be a different issue though. We came by last night for Science Café. Service was underwhelming, even after factoring in how crowded the place was. It took 15 mins before our drink orders were taken(and our neighbors on the tables were getting their food), and there wasn’t enough silverware. An extra waitstaff or two wouldn’t have gone amiss – we also had to wait for about 20 minutes to flag down our server to close our tabs. The menu has a pretty good range, as far as traditional pub food goes, with an Irish twist. Irish nachos are on fries instead of corn chips, for example. It’s decent for pub food as well, but not worth writing home about. The sausage roll had a nice, flaky pastry on it, and the guy next to me had a little skillet of shepherd’s pie that looked kind of tasty. There’s also live music, and it gets LOUD. We were in the back playing shuffleboard and we could barely hear ourselves. I might try dinner again on a quieter night, or come back to check out their trivia nights and Aussie Rules screenings.
