Always consistent, always friendly and always awesome. I love their real Irish beers as well. This is our Weekend lunch spot after shopping in Bellevue.

My fiancé and I came in on our date night and were not too pleased with the food. I had the Boursin Chicken sandwich and was severely disappointed in the lack of chicken on that sandwich. It was about a 3oz chicken breast… made no sense why it was $ 13 that was a $ 7 sandwich at best. I only got 4 onion rings for the additional $ 2 I paid on the up charge for them, what was that about? My fiancé had the sliders, she wasn’t impressed with the chicken slider or the meatloaf slider for the lack of flavor in each… the Praites and gravy was the highlight of our meal. That to me is very sad. I can’t say that we would dine with you again. Update: Dan, we came in around 5:30/5:45 on 1÷22÷2016 before going upstairs to a comedy show. We were pressed for time.

I went here one evening with some friends. They were not too busy. The waiters were very nice and welcoming however the bartender was extremely rude and after he handed me my drink told me to get out of his way and move, when there was no one around. I explained to him I was waiting to pay(as I had my card in my hand) and he gave me a rude smirk and laughed then aggressively got my check and tossed it at me. I had said nothing to him nor was I impatient at all. I would say to go here to eat, but not to sit at the bar as the bartender will definitely ruin your time.

HAPPY Hour FOOD Quality, Price & Service is Great. Fish & Chips is Delish. & drinks are Fresh. If you can’t wait for the toilet use(single stall) just walk across to Maggiano’s, they have plenty space ;)

Sunday Brunch. This place is absolutely a great find. We came in particular because the DH had a big points score with open table for this location. What a win. The staff is all super nice, really attentive and fun too. The flavors are spot on for Irish breakfast choices: the bangers are delicate but bursting with expected flavors, the DH loved the black n white puddings and even the coffee was spot on flavorful without punching your pallet. Future trips will have to include the shepherd’s pie if the Pat’s special scramble is any indication. The whisky menu is enough to prompt a more drink worthy pm-ish visit. Thanks Katie!

Stopped in here after the Snowflake Lane event. It wasn’t full and we were able to grab a table in the covered outer area. They have PLENTY of heaters in here, so warmth isn’t an issue. The carpet smell however, did at times, overwhelm my senses. I warmed up so much I traded seats to be near the edge of the cover which was cooler. Server was friendly, drinks were strong. Enjoyed the Irish Coffee, Cookie(?), and the bottled cider. All very good. Our family had the following: Fish and chips– big cuts of fish. Great breading. Comes with fries and slaw. Husband ate it all. He liked it. Bacon cheeseburger– it was a large(!) burger. Comes with fries. My son ate it all. Must have been good. French Dip with onion/peppers– Looked good, my daughter ate is all. Fries too. Lamb skewers– I had this dish since it is gluten free. The menu designates gluten free and vegan options. The skewers of lamb were served on top of mashed potatoes, topped with grilled onions/peppers, and served with a side of peanut sauce. I really enjoyed this small dish. It’s small, but filled me up. Three skewers of lamb were tender, potatoes had good flavor, and the onions were perfectly cooked with just a bit of crunch. Very good! This isn’t a huge place. Bar area, some booths, tables, and the outside covered/heated area. Only one bathroom and we waited forever to use it. Go upstairs for public restrooms. We will be back.

This place is great value, but the food is just okay. Being an Irish pub, this place has an amazing and extensive beer and spirits list, and a quick glance at their whiskeys was enough to impress me. I’m not a big whiskey drinker so I had to pass but it’s worth a look at if you like that! Food is okay, prices were all around $ 5-$ 7 for Happy Hour, including sandwiches, salads, and some traditional Irish entrees like stew or shepherd’s pie. The pie was severely under salted though, and the pie mixture tasted like chili. I do love the presentation and the green onions added some much needed freshness(duh, it’s meat and mashed potatoes), but everything could have been seasoned a bit more. The potatoes were also not baked after being put on the casserole, I don’t know if that’s the authentic way it is but I do like a crispy topping on the mashed potato. Don’t miss the Irish soda bread, super soft and great texture! It doesn’t even need the butter! Edited to add: service was GREAT!

Wouldn’t accept my UK drivers license and was so unbelievably rude and disrespectful about it. The manager got into a fight with our table and the entire restaurant heard. A huge reflection of their establishment and what they embody as a company… Wouldn’t go back EVER and hugely embarrassing for them. Classless people work here and I don’t recommend going. Never been so disrespected by a restaurant.

The HH food menu is pretty good and decently priced. I really enjoyed the Cheeseburger and fries for only $ 7. I would come in here for drinks next time I come in! Also the new waitress with the southern accent, you were very entertaining! We enjoyed your interaction and service with our group.

There are some places that just feel right when you walk in, this is one of them for me. The Guiness was the proper temp and pour, the sausage roll was great, the staff was wonderful. My wife and I agreed, we should’ve started the evening here

Went for Happy hour, free parking at Lincoln Square, Food was very tasty. We ordered and shared a Wedge Salad, Fish and Chips, and Shepard’s Pie and beer –off the Happy Hour Menu. Only one piece of fish, but the three dishes was enough for too of us. Would recommend. Serve was very good.

I’ve wanted to try this place FOREVER, so I finally came in here, daughter in tow, for lunch. The place was nearly empty and we were told to seat ourselves. We chose a comfy booth in a corner. Five minutes after we were settled, a father and son sat in the booth across from us. We had a lovely female server take our orders: a salad and the lamb skewers. meanwhile, 5 – 10 minutes later, a male server took the orders of the dad and son across from us. Their orders came out about 10 minutes later. Not ours. We waited and waited and waited. The father and son finished their meals. I was about to find our server to ask if they forgot about us but then she came with our meals. I must say, our food was really good. The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the grilled and caramelized vegetables and mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious. The chop salad was fresh and chock full of thick salami slices, grilled chicken, cheese and garbanzo beans, with a zesty Italian dressing on the side(as we requested). We got a scoop of vanilla and pecan ice cream for dessert, and it was fantastic, as was my tea with honey. I saw the dad across the way had his left-overs boxed and bagged for him, so I asked for our left-over salad to be boxed up and bagged also, and our server brought me a box, to box it myself. I asked for the bag again, which she eventually brought over. I describe these details as it was clear that, depending on who your server is, you might have prompt and thoughtful service… or not. Our server was really pleasant and nice, but we couldn’t help compare our experience to that of the guys seated at the booth across from us. Would I return? Probably. The food was really good, and I was really impressed by their menu, and the prices. The weekend menus offer breakfast foods all day, and all the omelets and the Irish oatmeal dishes sounded super, super good. And we really liked the Irish soda bread that comes with the meals. We’d try this place again.

I loved that this place allows dogs on the patio! Small spot but definitely seems like it gets fun. The service was good, yet there was also not many people there. I got the BBQ chicken salad. Chicken was actually super gross, my dog didn’t seem to mind it’s awful taste and texture. My husband got the bangers and mash and those were great! I will definitely come back and try it out one more time.

Paddy Coynes is great. The atmosphere is good, not too noisy, and the food is excellent. My wife and I especially like the fish and chips. I’ve eaten fish and chips at a lot of pubs and restaurants in the Seattle area(and beyond) and they’re my favorite. Prices can be high, but it’s Bellevue; what did you expect? Don’t go on Tuesday night during their trivia night, unless you plan to participate. It’s noisy and will ruin your meal. :P

Just 2 stars for the HH bites but I’ve only ever been here on weekend nights for happy hour and drinks, so my review may not depict what they’re like the rest of the day and week. Downtown Bellevue on the weekend is a hot mess, so this joint is always packed with kind of an older crowd. But each time I’ve been, I always manage to snag a table or booth without having to wait. Happy hour food is pretty good and prices are reasonable($ 5-$ 10?) I normally get the fish and chips, beef stew or shepard’s pie(these 2 are nearly the same), some fries and a beer. The HH fish and chips just comes with one giant piece of fish, a side of slaw, and a mountain of fries for like $ 7. The beef stew/shepard’s pie are both pretty big portions and come with Irish soda bread which I absolutely LOVE! So I’m a fan. I wish I could say this place is a quick bite but the service literally sucks. It’s normally that girl who pays more attention and flashes more smiles at the giant party of guys at the table next to me and my boyfriend who are just trying to grab some food and go.

We stopped by fairly early on a Friday evening. Restaurant was fairly full, but not packed. There’s a sign that says to seat yourself but a server helped us find a table and gave us menus. The Happy Hour menu is great, smallish portions and nice prices. We had potato skins for a starter, which were fairly good but needed something — not sure what. Maybe a bit under-seasoned? Still, good. Daughter had fish and chips, which is one piece of fish for the HH menu, but the waitress told us when the order was placed, so she had the option of adding another piece of fish. I ordered the sliders, one BBQ chicken which was tasty, and one meatloaf, which I found bland. The fries were nice shoestrings, very good. Service was quick and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.
