Salon Saida

I love love Saida! She is one of the BEST people who has ever cut my hair! She tries new styles too, but makes sure they suit you well. Always suggests really natural and interesting ways of keeping the hair healthy! Love her a lot, used to go to her for more than a year when I was living in Kirkland, but now I’ve moved to California. Will still want to catch a flight and get a haircut from her! :)

Saida did a wonderful job! My cousin was getting married and her whole wedding party needed our hair done. Fantastic energy… Really awesome attitude, and we all walked away with beautiful hair! She was great!

I was sad to lose my previous hair stylist of 10+ years, and after a series of mostly frustrating experiences at several other salons in downtown Kirkland, I’m thrilled to have finally found a new one! I’m pretty picky about my hair, and Sambo totally nailed it! Her skill and attention to detail is rare in these parts, even at some of the more expensive salons.
The prices here are very reasonable, especially given the level of hospitality and service. Saida, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart! When she’s not cutting hair, she’s moving about the salon greeting clients and making sure they’re comfortable. This place feels like home. Highly recommend!

No place better and I truly mean it!
Saida has been dying my hair for years. It is still long, healthy and happy as ever! At this point I ask for her to make the choices, as she knows my hair better than I do. I’ve traveled a lot as well and forced myself to try other salons around the country but I’ll just say, I’m always grateful I can come back and have her make it perfect again. She is also just a hard honest worker and a beautiful person, inside and out! I am so blessed to have her in my life!

Won’t go anywhere else. I have curly hair and have had multiple experiences with stylists not understanding that my curls don’t always decide to stay curled in the exact same style everyday… a lifelong frustration that I have faced… Saida fully understands this and knows how I like my hair cut and gives excellent advice on what I should be doing in between cuts as well. She doesn’t randomly cut it so the curls will look good for a day she styles it and cuts it so that it will grow healthy and look good all the time. The salon also has a great ambiance with lots of light so you can see exactly what is being done to your hair… no dark rooms that leave you with a surprise later on when you turn on the lights. Everyone there is really nice and I have seen multiple people walk out with awesome highlights etc… I’m too nervous to do much coloring but when I do decide to do it I would trust them 100% to do it right. Customer service is always excellent and advice is always right! Gotta love it… That and the prices are fair, in my opinion, may be more expensive than super-​cuts but the quality is the highest there is.

I have super thick, curly hair and this is the only salon I will trust to handle it. I came here for the first time three years ago and I haven’t gone anywhere else since! Saida, the owner of the salon, is absolutely amazing – she legitimately teaches you how to manage the toughest of hair (from prepping to wash it, deep conditioning, wrapping it when you sleep, even updos!). Trust me, once you’ve been here once, you won’t go anywhere else.

Saida, owner and stylist, the best! I have naturally curly hair and she can perfectly style it straight or curly if I wish. Always listen, available whenever needed it and conveniently located with free parking in the building! very professional and caring staff. It’s been probably at least 10 years since I found this gem and hightly recommend them as they have several great stylists. Thanks for always doing a superb job!

Salon Saida is one of my favorite things about living in Kirkland. Saida does a fabulous job with my cut and color (single process, highlights, you name it). I always leave feeling like a milliion bucks and get so many compliments on my hair the next day. I’ve even gone to her for up-do’s and I always love the results. Saida is also one of those stylist/​therapists, always willing to listen and gives great advice so feel beautiful on the outside and inside.
Prices are reasonable, location is super convenient in downtown Kirkland with available parking and French Bakery next door (yum!).

Go see Leslie she is amazing. I use to have her cut and color my hair when I lived in the area and I saw her here in her new space on my last visit. I have really thick, corse hair and she does a great job of thinning and texturizing it which is hard to find. Beautiful salon in a great location and everyone is super friendly.

Melissa has been my hairstylist for years now and she is THE BEST out there. She’s friendly, listens to my suggestions and consults with me before we try something new. I can’t imagine going any place other than where she is. She really is a true talent!!!

For years I have been trying to find a stylist willing to help me embrace my gray hair. After 10 years of trying, I finally found Melissa. She immediately understood my need to see what my gray really looked like and helped me devise a plan to go gray «naturally». Over the last 10 months we have been going lighter and using less and less product each time I go in. She created a new style for me that I love!

Wow, great place for a haircut. I have never been there before but I will definitely be back. First of all, the customer service is great. The stylist was able to fit me in for an early Saturday morning appointment because a special event Sat. night snuck up on me and I was overscheduled. — as usual.
I also liked the bright space with lots of windows and pretty pale apricot colored walls. I felt at home there… well, actually I should say I wish my home looked like that!
Finally, it’s right next to the French Bakery in Kirkland. This may or may not be a good thing because their food is sooooo good but so much butter. OMG, I might have to review that place next — I love it.
Overall, I’ll be back to Salon Saida, reasonable haircut prices particularly for Kirkland, my haircut looked great and the stylist was very nice and dow to earth. I’m glad I found it.

Salon Saida is AMAZING! It is in a great location in Kirkland, has tons of parking and is easy to find. The salon is very clean and cozy! You have to go to Leslie Gardner for your services. She does the best color and cut and is so sweet and energetic while doing it. You can tell she loves her job and loves all of her clients. No other salon in Kirkland compares.
