What a nightmare! We purchased a «brand new» LG Washer & Dryer set from here when the Lowe’s store next door couldn’t get the set I wanted for a few weeks. Prices at Sears were slightly higher for the exact same set but I didn’t want to wait so we paid the price. A few days after we purchased the set Sears delivery delivered a USED dryer that did not work. The delivery guys told me I should get an electrician to check out my laundry room because the electric dryer was not coming on. The washer was washing just fine however. I explained to the delivery guys that the previous dryer had no issues working in the exact same spot. Then I pointed out that the dryer was obviously USED and not new! The dryer had no plastic on it whatsoever, whereas the washer did have plastic that indicated it was a new machine. The dryer had signs of use on the top(minor scuffles, etc.) I explained to the delivery guys I would not accept receipt of the dryer because it was obviously used(and BROKEN). The guys said ok and when out to their truck(I assumed to get the dolly to wheel the broken and used machine back onto the truck) but without a word they drove off! I called numerous time to the drivers cellphone to ask them why they were leaving when I refused the dryer. He did not answer. I called the store, spoke to the manager who originally told me he’d have to call me back because he was busy with customers! Apparently I wasn’t a customer anymore. He called me back later to state that I had to keep the broken and used dryer if I wanted them to rush me a New dryer out. So I agreed. 3 days later the new dryer is delivered by new delivery guys(one delivery guy«Brian» called me at 6:26am to confirm my deliver time for 3−5pm that day!!!) When they arrived they set up the new dryer(which was covered in plastic) and turned it on for me to see it did indeed work(turns out I didn’t need an electrician like the previous guys recommended). I was happy to have all the drama behind me and washer the laundry that had begun to pile up during the delay. I immediately began washing my first load of laundry once the new dryer was delivered. But I soon realized that the new dryer didn’t get hot. After approximately 2 hours of drying the same small load and I realized the new dryer didn’t heat up at all!!! Fed up, we went back to the store who said that the issue was likely a vent problem and they’d send someone out to fix it. The next day a guy from the local store came out and re-connected the exhaust vent. But he realized that the dryer is still not getting hot. He said he could request a «real» repair guy come out and work on it but his suggestion would be we call the store and demand a new machine altogether. I went to the store today and requested a full refund. I can go to Home Depot or somewhere else and buy a working machine with next day delivery… why bother to deal with this foolishness anymore??? Imagine my surprise when I found out that after all this ridiculousness Sears WILLNOT refund us the delivery fees!!! We lost money by taking a chance on this store! And we were rewarded by paying over $ 100 in delivery fee’s for used and broken machines! Run from this place! It’s just a headache!

This is a great place to come if you need to pick up a hardware item and get in and out in a flash. Their selection is good, but I think they could step up the customer service. I’ve wandered around looking for someone on a couple of occasions. They have all kinds of items here, including seasonal favorites. Nothing fancy about the store, just nuts and bolts. Watch for sales, though, they do have some awesome ones.
