Her Healthcare

Went here for a second opinion on an issue,(not pregnancy), and it was closer to home, so I thought that was convenient. I get there, with about what seemed like 50people in the waiting area, I told front desk my name & appt time, and then had to sit on floor. No extra seats. I wait and wait and wait for a good 25min… as I wait I noticed everyone with ipads given to them & returning to front desk. ??? I never received one. I go back to front desk to ask if I needed one (I am a new patient, already filled forms online, did my job, they didn’t do theirs). The said ”Oh yeah, we forgot to give you one.” I found out that the ipads are what officially check you in to the office! So that delayed my stay there, even more. Finally called back to doctor private office for consult. She talked to me while looking at papers, not one smile, nor sincerity in her words, or even much eye contact. Was just to the point. Then in the room she did a procedure that was unnecessary. When I asked why, she said all her new patients are required for the procedure: translation – I want your money. She was not gentle at all, it was quite painful! I felt very rushed like she was in a hurry. Then she noted my BP and said it was high and told me to wait (again!) in the back waiing area for nurse to take my BP again. She made a point to tell me I wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless my BP came down. Well I waited waited waited waited again… no nurse. By then I was so frustrated and didn’t bother hunting for a nurse. I just got up and checked out, with paper sitting back there for nurse. If BP was so high and if she was really concerned, she would have called to check up on me to see why I didn’t get it taken again. NOPE. Not one call. But they have been hounding me ever since saying I need my follow up ultrasound. NOT returning there, going back to my former doctor who I love at Northeast OB/​Gyn!

Worst experience!!! Staff very unhelpful just do not care from what I could see.

It’s MUCH better than my previous doctor’s office who couldn’t figure out the difference between me and another patient with a similar name! No matter how many times I alerted them, updated my file, and reminded them.
The office staff here is perfunctory, nothing to write home about but I really liked the doctors. That in itself will keep me coming back.

The office staff is miserable. They never call you back. I had test results that they NEVER even bothered to call and tell me what they were. They’re rude and they honestly don’t care at all about the patients. I like my doctor, but it always seems like it’s a job to talk to her. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else

Agree with the other review. It’s sad that office employees get in the way of good doctors. I was told over the phone when I couldn’t make an appointment with the other doctor in the practice so I could get in sooner. How can doctors within the same practice not work together — or so your staff makes it seem. They have no way of contacting them by any other way than phone and you can’t leave a message. This is not a 3^rd world country without choices in healthcare. Practice management ladies. Replace your front line. If you have a way to e-​mail you on your website, you won’t wind up with negative reviews on social media.

The office staff is horrible. The women working there are often young and inexperienced. They are condescending and often make mistakes but blame it on you. They ask you to come 40 minutes in advance but open the door 30 minutes before, so by the time you fill in the tons of forms, the appointment starts late. You have to see the receptionist, the nurse who weights you, the one who asks why you’re here, then the doctor, then the billing person, then the scheduling person if you want a new appointment. Never a kind word, never «how are you today». They are drowning the practice in paperwork which they value more than health. The doctors are ok, but not great. I went there for 10 years but decided enough with the rude behavior.
