Russo’s New York Pizzeria

Had lunch today. Giant slice meat lovers with Caesar salad. They brought out bread and olive oil, not too many pizza places do that. Good food, nice environment, fast Wi-​Fi, and friendly management. Great place.

Botched our delivery not once but twice in the same order at different times during lunch on a weekday.
The first time we waited over an hour for our pasta when we were told 40 mins. When the food arrived they forgot the pizza. We called back and they said the driver is already on his way back. Somehow we waited another 40 mins and delivered only one of the two slices.

Tried the pizzeria again. This visit, the service wasn’t better, and the pizza was burned, and had very little sauce and toppings. Last time eating at this place. Overpriced, poor service, and not great food. I would think the manager/​owners would read the reviews.

Cozy and comfortable. Huge slices made to order and great daily specials. Their outdoor seating is nice as well. If you are looking for some great italian food, this is your spot.

I love this place and this particular location but the price and the staff are underwhelming for me.
The pizza itself is a good enough replication of New York style pizza that you can’t complain. I personally would have preferred a crispier center, but I’m just being really picky.
I made an additional order of an Arugula Caprese Salad which the cashier described as tomatoes, arugula, and «a lotta lettuce» for $ 9.95, and I ended up with just the Caprese salad. I asked if this was the right order, and she said that they must have forgotten the arugula and the lettuce. So she gave me a side of arugula. Let me rephrase, WILTED arugula. She clearly didn’t know what she was talking about and it turns out that she put my order for the original Caprese salad for $ 11.99. I can’t complain much because the Caprese salad was delicious!!! I don’t think there was enough of it to be $ 11.99 but it definitely deserves a good review for the taste alone.
This place is definitely worth going to but be sure that your cashier/​waitress knows what she’s talking about otherwise you may end up with a different version of what you asked for.

We really liked this place. The pizza was excellent, and the service was friendly, helpful, and cool… a little on the lax side… lots of dirty tables, but definitely there if you need something. We’ll be back over and over again.

The company I work for ordered from them and the pizza was fantastic!!! My favorite was the chicken pizza., a must try!

Really bad. Pizza arrived with scant toppings, there was supposed to be cheese and if there was, I didn’t see it. It was also so soggy in the middle that it fell apart in a blob when trying to pick it up. I ordered a specialty puzza and the only thing special was the price. Avoid if you have taste buds.

We ordered a pizza and garlic knots for delivery and it took a little over an hour to arrive. The food was amazing, but I think a little over priced. We are willing to pay extra for quality food from a family owned place. We would definitely recommend.

Slices are okay but they took away my favorite salad. Now I have to get a greek salad. which is okay, also but nothing spectacular.
My kids always a get a slice and I love that 1 fills them up. We’re big thin crust fans so this pizza is perfect. Decent amount of toppings, and topping choices.
They also have 1 of those fancy super selection Coke machines. And out door seating, which is necessary because there isn’t much seating inside.
The giant 28″ pizza they have sounds like a good idea for the large family we feed but it’s overpriced. You basically pay for the novelty of it. I am well aware of the low cost of pizza. Jacking up the cost for this monstrous pizza to $ 50 is ridiculous. And from the ones I’ve seen don’t blame the additional toppings… they don’t add very much.

Horrible service. 2 couples in front of me had complaints with pizza. I ordered party sized pizza. Told will take 25 minutes. No problem. Checked with server and he never placed order. He acted like no big deal. Manager gave refund. They had 12 people behind counter and one machine. Very disorganized. No wonder everyone I know in Kingwood avoids the place like the plague. Bathroom smells like an open grave. This place will go out of business in under a year. Poor service. Poor attitude and very poor training for tired looking sloppy employees. One thing good… It’s really loud in there.

It is a nice place to go have dinner. The place is kind of small, but the environment is pleasant.
They have a great variety of Gluten Free Pizzas.
Me, my wife, and baby boy always enjoy the pizza from here.

Pizza was falling apart in box, requested extra marinara on the side for calzone and received none. Expected calzone to be some greasy but ended up being completely greasy. Very disappointed.

Excellent little Italian restaurant in the little town of kingwood. I’ve come here twice with a friend who lives close by and it’s quick and delicious! They also do delivery and pickup.

Russo’s pizzeria is absolutely one of my favorite pizza places to attend! There’s salads are average. However, the pizzas or slices are amazing! The calamari is excellent as well! I would have to say I am not ever disappointed with the staff and the food is great! Love to sit on the patio on a gorgeous day as well! More people should definitely check this place out!

I used to not like this place, but man has it changed!

We ordered from the Kingwood location more than 90 minutes ago… Still no pizza. We called and were told they were busy and pizza would be delivered in a while.
How do places like this stay in business? Zero customer service for mediocre pizza. We mistakenly ordered from this place this evening only because are just a mile or so away, we thought it would be quick. What a HUGE mistake, a mistake we will not be making again.

Food was ok, but not worth the price or coming back for. Service wasn’t much better. Order a calzone that took 30 minutes and a large pizza that came out a little after the calzone. It tasted mediocre, and the calzone was mostly ricotta, no true flavor to it. The «homemade» pizza sauce served with it tasted straight out of the can, so no big impression here. I would just suggest you skip this place and keep going to RC’s down the road.

We stopped in to give this place a second chance. And were again reminded why we don’t eat here. The atmosphere is weird, the food is way over priced and the pizza is just not good. Crust was way over cooked and there was at least 2tbs of grease sitting on my one slice of pizza. Couldn’t even eat it. The few bites I did eat tore my mouth up because the crust was so hard. Not too mention the bathrooms are disgusting and didn’t have paper towels. We left our food there. Won’t be going back.

Have always loved the pizza from this chain.
I have usually only gotten a slice or two, so this time was the first time I’d ordered a whole pizza. Got a large (16″/8 slices) and it was delicious!
