The Coffee Beanery

The soups here are delicious. Also, they have good pastries and pies. They also have a TCBY inside. I don’t know how many exist in NY still, but this is probably the only one in the area. Good cup of coffee too!

Mom and Pop shop, although you might not guess it cause of the TCBY sign. This is part coffee shop, part TCBY, part soups and pastries. Don’t be confused when you walk in– it looks like you are just going into TCBY. But there is so much more! They have a great espresso bar, and the owner made me a delicious latte. He also told me about how his wife makes 30+ soups from scratch, so I had to try one. I got the Sweet Potato Rosemary with a side of asiago cheese bread and it was amazing!!!- one of the best soups I have ever had. He also told me the pastries are made from scratch daily, which I believe and they looked great although I didn’t try them. The people were so friendly and it is such a cute place, and they do have wifi. It is quiet with some music in the background and I stayed to work and read for a while. His granddaughter was also working there and she was super nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back if the opportunity arises.

Stopped by during our visit to Hudson Valley. Really good coffee and delicious snacks. Bonus– they have soy milk! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stopped in here for morning coffee after hitting a breakfast joint. I wanted a large coffee to take back to the hotel to drink while watching Saturday morning college football: ESPN College GameDay!
I ordered a large dark roast with room for cream. The gentleman at the register was pleasant and served my coffee right up.
The coffee itself was not as flavorful as I was hoping for. It seemed flavor-​wise to be a much lighter roast. Still, it was ‘good’ coffee, just not great coffee!
As another reviewer mentioned — this is both «The Coffee Beanery» and a «TCBY.» When I arrived, I walked to the left trying to figure out where the door is, then figured out it was the TCBY door.
Lots of interior seating. No outside seating.

This is a great place. I stopped by on a cold day and found myself greeted by tropical décor, wonderfully friendly owners, and excellent soup. The coffee, pie, and yoda décor were also awesome. A+

Very friendly staff. Joint Coffee Beanery and TCBY. Nice decorations, helpful staff and they have soy milk! And now they take credit cards. Ample free lot parking too.
