I’m not sure what happened to the quality of this restaurant. It used to be top notch cooking with really great service. My husband and I noticed about a year and a half ago the food wasn’t tasting as good anymore — particularly the egg rolls. It turned out they had gotten a new cook. After a few more orders of dried fried rice, flavorless lo mein and entrees that all tasted the same, we switched to Kai’s Kitchen.
Tonight, we decided to give it another try. We ordered Sesame Beef. What we got was a white mystery meat that was drowning in breading and oil. It was most definitely not beef. I called Great Wall and was told that their «beef was white» and that «they had just switched to a new oil.» They insisted it was beef. I told them the dish tasted really awful and was given a limp «sorry.»
Zero compensation. Best of luck, Great Wall. It is back to Kai’s Kitchen, C Gourmet, East Wok, and Wing Chui’s we go.

Food was ok at best. Took me over 40 minutes as they were very busy which I understand. What I don’t understand is them forgetting my order with me standing there. Far more annoying was after they cooked it and the boxes sitting there on the shelf taking multiple phone orders and starting cooking them all the while while I was standing there waiting and waiting. Why do people put new phone calls over handling a customer who has been waiting. The place is filthy. There was cooked fried chicken wings sitting in a cardboard box sitting un refrigerated underneath a food prep table almost underneath and right next to the greasy wok cookers. Never again.

I ordered food last night from the Great Wall, it took an hour an 20 minutes for them to deliver undercooked fried rice and cold general taos chicken. All I can say is never again!!!
