In a word: FANTASTIC.
Emily is, by far, the most talented stylist on the island: efficient, compassionate, wildly funny, and tremendously gifted at both color and cuts. She’s also great fun to be around, and I left her salon with the cutest haircut and buttery highlights I’ve ever had. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

I just love what Emily has done to the place. At one time it was a barber shop and she has put her heart and soul into making her place somewhere you can bring the whole family. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Oh, and they can cut and style hair! Great place to get your hair did.

When I was in Kihei in April taking care of my son I had the pleasure of meeting Wendee! She cut nearly 7 inches off of my waist long hair an layered it an it looks great an feels great!!! Shes very professional, kind, an fun to work with!
A week later I saw her again for a color an it was FANTASTIC!!! She is an awesome hairdresser, anyone looking for a fresh, fun atmosphere an a great new do, Stop over at the Pink Pineapple Salon an ask for Wendee!!!

Received a cut today and was completely satisfied. Flew in for vacation and didn’t have time to get this cut at home and found this place open on Sunday. It was convenient and Emily did a super job… I was thinking I might have to get a redo when I got home but no Pink did a great job at a very reasonable price.

I chose this place because it advertised on Unilocal that they were «children friendly»… Come to find out they are just not friendly at all. I walked in to get my sons haircut and none of the three stylist working we’re welcoming at all. They made us feel very uncomfortable and we regretted ever walking in there! It was so bad we decided not to go through with the haircut! They have no customer service and I would recommend this salon to NO ONE!

This is a sweet barber shop. Prices are great and the girls are awesome! I was skeptical because it says «barber shop» but they do girls hair too! Awesome customer service, convenient location and extremely talented girls! My boyfriend said it was the best haircut he has ever got! I was so pleased.

Friendly, small place that accommodates everyone. I arrived around 11:00 am on Monday, February 18, and was told there were three people ahead of me so the wait would be 30 – 40 minutes. I needed to make a grocery stop, so the manager was kind enough to take my name and suggest I return after my trip to the local Safeway. I had a great hair cut with no wait for a very reasonable $ 18.

My dad and I went in here and didn’t have the best experience. We are on vacation and my dad wanted to get a normal haircut. The girl that cut his hair had a huge attitude. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. When she was done my dad got up to pay and got a look at himself in the mirror. And kindly asked if she could take it a little shorter on the sides. She got mad and huffed and puffed and said it was up to him. My dad said only if she had time. So she said fine and took 1 extra minute. Not sure why she was rushing us in and out. But we highly regret going there for a $ 22 disappointment.

After doing a search on places for kids cuts on Maui, my husband and I decided to give Maui Barber Shop a try. They’re VERY kid friendly! My little boy isn’t the easiest 2-​year old client to work with, but Emily managed to do an excellent job! We’ll be back!
