Lovely Nail & Spa

Not so lovely nails. Made an appointment for my husband and myself for a 2pm pedicure. We arrive and are seated in our chairs with cold water. My husband’s technical starts to work on him while I wait and wait and wait with my feet in cold water. 25 minutes into my husband’s pedi she puts the leg scrub on him and says she will then start on me and someone else will finish my husband. Well she disappears to their shop next door which does chair massages and doesn’t return. After more than 30 minutes of sitting in cold water, my husband with the itchy leg stuff and no one helping us we were over it. We got up and left. So much for a relaxing pedi with an appointment scheduled… they could have scheduled us for when they were able to fit us in and we would have been happy instead of providing crappy service. Other options in kihei to choose from.

Went in on Christmas eve as a walk-​in to get emergency eyebrow wax. Joanne took my sister and I in quickly, no wait and turned out fabulous. And im picky about how my eyebrows get done. Will be going again!

Great service! Friendly and meticulous. Worth the money — they even do touch up for your return trip home.

Amazing service, I got a the luxury pedicure and the $ 5 add in mani. They spent and hour and half on me. Well worth money spent.

Good, quick service. I enjoyed my pedicure (deluxe) very much. It’s been 3 weeks and my polish is still intact! Very nice man/​owner did my nails. This place can get busy at times, plus there is a foot reflexology next door which looks like a good place to try too. Not the biggest place in the world, but it works for me.

Great prices and friendly service. The chairs could be updated, but for the awesome service it wasn’t a big deal. We walked right in, (3 of us) and they helped us immediately. I would definitely recommend.

I don’t know, I see two listings for the same salon, but want to take the time to say that Vicky was AMAZING for waxing! Detailed, fast, and made me feel comfortable. The staff was friendly and the customers all looked happy. Wish I had found them sooner!

I vacate in Maui once a year and always visit Kihei when I’m there. As tradition, I always visit their malls KuKui Mall to go shopping. As I was browsing through the mall I noticed Lovely Nails & Spa. I thought to myself what an awesome way to pamper myself with the convenience of being able to finish my shopping at one location. As I walked into Lovely Nails & Spa I was greeted right away with a friendly and sincere smile and asked what it was I wanted to get done that day. There were so many different types of services they offered, but I was only there to get a pedicure and my nails done. The service done on my pedicure and nails were exceptional! The people who worked there were extremely nice and you can tell that they took pride in their work because it was very clean. I think the workers there know how to value their customers and want their customers coming back because they were very warm and comforting and provided amazing service! A place that most people should definitely check out when in Kihei.

The guy giving me my pedi couldn’t stay off the phone and couldn’t give the whole pedi without going out for a couple hits off his ecigarette. Trying to support another business as they mentioned new owners and the shopping center is about to go under. Won’t be coming back like most Unilocalers. Massage was good, otherwise I would have given no stars.

Wonderful staff, great service. The girl kd recommended for me to get gel nails and I loved it. The owner and staff is friendly and welcoming, they do a great job.

I like this nail shop. Reasonable price. The guy did my nail, Jimmy, did a very good job. All the employees are friendly. They also have different types of pedicure, which i found very interesting. Ask for KD or Jimmy or Vihn when you r there.

Why was this place busy when I walked in? The place smells like disinfectant. The owner guy was the only professional in there. The lady they gave to me wouldn’t shut up and tried to trick me into a higher manipedi. She then cut me four times in all. I felt bad for her. I’ll never go there again.

Just came back from vacation in Hawaii and while I was there, i really needed a pampering. so after my trip to Starbucks, I spotted Lovely nails across the lot.
They had a variety of services from the typical nail services to massages and facials. I ended up getting a french shellac on my hands and feet since i knew a regular mani does not do for me– it always get destroyed BEFORE i even leave the salon :(
I also got the paraffin wax. It took about an hour with two people working on me. I felt like a princess hahaha. The paraffin made my hands incredibly soft. This was a great start to my vacation. Afterwards they told me they offered reflexology too which was just next door in «Footsie Reflexology.» Thinking since i’m already here, why not take a look… After my nails were done, I went next door to check out the massage parlor. I ended up booking an appointment with Footie for the end of my vacation since i was running a bit short on time.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Needed a shellac pedicure to start off the Maui vacation. The man had no patience to let the acetone sit on the old shellac and immediately after wrapping my toes in the foil, took off the wrappings and started to chip at the paint. It took over an hour just to remove the polish and he still didn’t get it all off. When using the UV light he didn’t use the built in timer, just turned it on and off as he pleased. The result is 3 days later my «shellac» pedicure looks terrible with lots of chips. Also, literally no massage– not 1 second. Not a great way to begin a vacation.

I had a repair done on my full set, the person who did the initial set here in California did such a crappy job, crooked nails,. and much more.
Kim, who i got to know did such a wonderful job, she really cared about her work.
but in speaking with her, i beleive this weekend was her last weekend of working, she was planning to return back to California.

Went in for a mani while on vacation. This place had apparently recently switched owners. I was rushed and not even put at a nail station. I had to sit in one of the small chairs people sit in while doing your pedicure. I had to ask the lady doing my nails to put on a top coat. Very disappointing. worst manicure i’ve even had!!!

I am on vacation in Maui and I receive pedicures about once a month. I went to this place to get a french pedicure, and it basically ruined the rest of my night. I had broken my toe nail, and one side was a little short. The guy filed my nail down to the pink and it was physically painful. Also, the paint on my toe nail looks terrible (the shape), and my right toe nail got messed up as soon as I got in the car. The massage was a little on the hard side, and the guy used so much lotion that while he pressed down on my heel he slipped, and this was also painful. This place is over priced and I had an absolutely awful experience. Do NOT go here.
