Had a cashier’s check from this bank, and was going to use it to start an account for another bank. Central Pacific Bank would not verify the cashiers check even though it was their own, so the new bank had to put a hold on it. What good is their cashier’s check then?!

Again, maybe it’s me but I didn’t have the easiest time finding a bank in Maui, it just seems like there’s not too much financial/​industry/​etc. stuff there (which is good of course!) So this bank served the purpose pretty well, was able to get more cash ($ 3.25 withdrawal fee) to meet the exorbitant Maui prices =p
