Sad but true, we were one of four guests in bar & their drinks were more juice than anything. Low key place. Def not a place to start off the night. Maybe end the night as their is a delicious Chinese BBQ place next door.

Nice little bar in the triangle. It was pretty chill and the bartender was very friendly and quick to deliver drinks. We really loved the key lime pie martini. It was sweet and tart and came with a pie crust trim.

Nice place. Small but it adds to the place. We are hitting happy hour and so far so good. Stop by if you are in a small group to start your night. I like the groove.

This place is a nice little dark room in a selection of bars. The bartender was absolutely adorable and super nice. Good drinks, too!

So… where to start. As a visitor you happen upon the triangle and think, oh cool, a fun place that’s actually open late, not filled with«couples».(that’s what i thought anyway). Had a great time at a few places before coming here. Then decided to check out«Ambrosia». Well that didn’t work out so well. Having a great time, dancing, etc. Go back to the bar to grab our drinks and they were gone. When asking about the full drinks, the attitude the bartender gave was odd. I mentioned you should replace them, i mean who pulls full drinks. My friend on the other hand said, «oh that’s ok we will just buy two more please». Ok i thought… annoyed that the bartender was being such a big«B». Well then we were told we needed to leave, no explanation nothing. When we went to the other bars in the Triangle we were told we would not be served and needed to go. In fact they were really really rude about it. Manhandled and escorted me out of the area. So I left with a bad bad taste in my mouth and won’t be back.

Good music. Part of a little collection of bars known as «the triangle». This has the best drinks, best crowd, and best music. Gets busy on weekends around 11. No cover.

I had read one review on here that made me concerned about the place. My partner and I came here and had the greatest time! Eva, the owner, is fabulous and is the furthest from being discriminatory! We were here during gay pride weekend and she was welcoming to the gay pride crowd, even had a special rainbow cocktail! I highly recommend everyone to come here when in Kihei!

Ambrosia is a glorified room, but does well with what it has. The space is really tiny, but the staff is friendly and sometimes the music and people are good for dancing. If you’re ever in the triangle, I would say it’s worth trying out.

Poor poor poor. Stay at your hotel, they discriminate against gays. Don’t listen to what the websites tell you. They pay for the business from those sites.

Ambrosia is a very cool martini bar. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the owner, bartender and staff. The martini was awesome and my friends and i had a great time. I would recommend the Pomegranate(Cosmopolitan) The cheese and hummus dish was a good compliment to the wine my friend ordered. The selection of vodkas and tequila is good. They have a full bar and late hours for plenty of fun.

Come here if you like to mix with 1) drunk girls who can’t hold their liquor 2) drunk girls who like to push their way through crowds with their boobs and without an excuse me. Their moms would not be proud. 3) lame straight guys who salivate over drunk girls who can’t hold their liquor. Their dad’s are probably proud. It’s a a place where they call«last call for alcohol» and then kick everyone out 5 minutes after you buy your«last call». Do NOT wear jeans or nice clothes because you WILL get drinks spilled on you. Not fun. Straight drunk girls are trashy and far from classy! Don’t they know that!!! And guys who get them drunk thinking they will«get some» — lame. But then again this probably describes the clientele in all beach bars on Maui. Great job!

The best dance music Kihei has to offer. I really enjoyed DJ Blast’s mix of modern and classic dance hits. It was a nice break from the rap monotony at the other bars. No cover, but a small dance floor. Great interior decorating. Very LGBTQ friendly. Edit: The music switched to more of the rap genre by midnight. Bummer. I was hoping for more EDM.

Tired of all the sun and fun at the beach while in Maui? Then head over to Ambrosia for some late night fun. You will find a great selection of drinks and great music and very good bartenders. The DJ’s spinning house are top notch and get your ass moving. A great selection of liquor and a fun and full drink menu had us laughing all night long. Met some other people in on holiday and drank and grooved into the wee hours. Hope you have a great time if you go, and say hi to Valerie for me. Cheers

Let it be known that the dancefloor is about the size of the kitchen in my 1 bedroom apartment, but we had SO much fun in here for about a half hour before it closed. We wished we had gone here the first night instead of just our last, because it was here that we made a couple vacation friends. People were so nice and just out having a good time!

This lounge is a refreshing change from the other bars in South Kihei. It is primarily a Martini Bar… weren’t they popular about 8 years ago? Now the trend seems to be Bourbon Bars. Regardless, the place does have some atmosphere in an area that seems to lack atmosphere. The night that I went there was one large group that pretty much filled the room. There was live music and a big screen above the bar that was playing a movie of naked women dancing in shadow. I ordered a nice glass of wine and enjoyed myself before checking out the rest of the neighborhood. If you want to enjoy a drink in a more relaxed atmosphere this is the place I would recommend!

Went in on a Sunday night to see what this place was all about. I believe its the only bar with an alternative night on the island. ATMOSPHERE: Very tiny room. High ceilings makes the space feel bigger than it is. Very dim lighting. Cool stone counter bar with a huge TV screen as the backdrop, sofas and even a dancefloor are crammed into this intimate space. The stone motif continues by climbing up the walls to the ceiling. Bathrooms are right outside the bar. BEVERAGE: They have happy hour all day & night on Sundays which is great. Shock Top orange on tap. OVERALL: Nice place to chill on a Sunday night. The DJ was good and played my kind of music. It’s also a great place for dancing because you feel the thump-a-thump!
