First of all Chelsea is one of the most talented hair artists I have ever had do my hair. I will give her 5 stars. The 2 stars is because of the lack of appointments for her, you will wait months to get an appointment with her and may only be able to get color and no cut or vice versa. They will offer you an appointment with another stylist but if you go there for Chelsea why would you want to go to someone else? They need to put a freeze on new clients, so that existing clients are able to come in. I stopped coming to this salon for that reason.

I lived at the Jersey shore for 22 years. I was transferred to Los Angeles a year ago and sadly had to switch salons. After 2 failed salons here, my hair began to fall out. I flew back to NJ and Robert Gerber Salon and to my regular ladies, Lauren for color and Jess for the cut. My hair thanked me and everyone said «Your hair never looked better»!!!
I do fly for an airline so the ticket was free but taking time off to fly there and drive an hour to the salon from the airport isn’t easy. It is worth it though. Never again will I let anyone but Lauren and Jess at Robert Gerber Salon touch my hair.
I highly recommend this salon.

Happy to report a great experience at Gerber Salon. I really like the shop, the house & décor very clean and stylish. Great atmosphere and the staff are all very nice and friendly. Jess did my color and cut, I am very happy with her work. Looking forward to going back again.

Linda is amazing for both color and cuts. I have had my hair done by some of the top people in NYC (Oscar Blandi, etc). Her expertise rivals any of these. Great, friendly atmosphere in the salon as well!

I LOVE this place!!! From the front desk to the stylists to the assistants, everyone is very nice and genuinely friendly. My «hair goddess» is Erika Pokriots. She is amazing!!! From the moment I began going to Erika P., I received so many compliments on my hair cut & color. She is truly talented and will tell you honestly if «your» idea may not necessarily be the right choice for you… she entertains my wacky ideas then gently guides me in the right direction. Obviously, she is correct based on the amount of people who ask «who does your hair? and state it’s beautiful!» I know it is Erika’s skill level, talent, and ease of discussion that makes my experience at Robert Gerber top notch!!!
