Fabulous flavored salts and peppercorns, top quality teas. Wide variety, convenient packaging, excellent gifts. Yet the most miserable, insulting store owner. I recommend she retire and hire pleasant staff with customer service orientation to do justice to their terrific merchandise.(Jan 2016)

I usually buy my spices from Penzey’ or The Spice House. I was in Key West for a day(cruise) and stumbled upon this shop. I’m always up to try out new spice blends and these didn’t disappoint. I only wish they had a catalog so I could have looked at it while I ate my lunch. The prices are a tad high, but the quality was good. I found it funny that the same amount of a salt free blend was the same price as a blend full of salt(salt is very inexpensive). So, get a salt free blend and add your own salt! I bought a grilled fish seasoning, a pizza seasoning, a Tuscan blend and an all purpose blend. I really liked them all. I would shop here again, its a nice place to get a souvenier that isn’t a kitchy knick knack.

I’m a sucker for all things tea and this place stole my heart. I immediately picked up the mango green tea and I love that it is decafinated. The salesperson recommended I smell the green tropical tea. I loved it as well and since I couldn’t decide, I had to buy both! I bought some fun souvenir spices for friends back home like the flavored salts. My husbanded insisted on some seasonings and I enjoyed the Thai red curry. We were the only customers inside the small shop so the salesperson was especially attentive and helpful.

Fun place to pickup a cheap souvenir. I purchased bacon flavored salt for my friend and lime flavored salt for margarita rims. I believe I paid $ 11 for both but I could have easily bought the whole store. Spice lovers dream!

I had very little reason to walk in here. Okay, scratch that. I wasn’t planning on having any reasons to enter. But, being the spice-a-holic that I am, I HAD to. Even if only to look around. Fortunately, they had a massive selection of hot sauces, and the entire place is built around an old bar, in which they’ll serve samples of any sauce they sell. Not only that, but they’ll have little«hot sauce challenges,» which grown men will be brought to tears by a pin-head size of ghost chili sauce. I kid you not. They have it all. Sure, it’s not what you’d think of doing while visiting a touristy vacation spot. But honestly, it’s fun either way. So don’t complain, complainers.(Mostly talking to myself here) Stop by and try some sauce samples, and if you’re feeling spicy, buy some. I did, and it was shipped to me, albeit pretty expensive ground shipping at that. But I enjoyed some Key West #1 on my eggs this morning… and they were great.

Super friendly staff and a wide range of teas. Brian the owner was awesome and gave me a free cup of tea for my wife who was sick and a 10% military discount. The key lime tea is true to it’s name and they even have key lime salt! If you love tea, especially loose leaf, go here you will not be dissapointed

Don’t waste your time. Doesn’t even have local character to make a visit worthwhile. Teas and spices are average at best, prices are comparable with on-line. I should have know by where the shop is located, in an extremely touristy area. The guy behind the counter barely knew how to make tea and was a «smoozer.» If I met this guy in a bar, I would run away.
