Don Pan International Bakery

Pretty good latin bakery considering you are not in Venezuela. I did not like the pan the jamon, but the tequenios were descent and the cachitos with ham and cheese were pretty good. I also liked the fruit juices. The arepas were pretty good as well.
Whenever I visit from New York this is where I tend to grab my breakfasts.

Dear Don Pan,
Throughout the last 4 years that I’ve worked on the Key, I’ve only come here a handful of times. But that’s because I can’t ever seem to find anything I really want on your menu.
There’s a counter with baked goods already prepared for people to choose from, including empanadas, different assortment of rolls and breads, croquettas (which in my opinion are not that good), and things of that nature. You serve coffee of all sorts, and even make milkshakes, but they seem to be a tad too watered down for my taste. After all its a milkshake for a reason!
There’s a small variety of cold and hot sandwiches available, but the only thing I can ever settle on is a tortilla sandwich, which is basically scrambled eggs, cheese and ham.
This is usually the last place I go to when in search of lunch. But at least it’s an option… If one should go, stick to the basics — coffee, rolls, etc.; can’t go wrong with that.
