This is by far the worst CVS I’ve been to in a long time. The problem at this location is that they rely on self checkout as the only way to pay. This creates confusion for the many tourists that don’t have a clue of what they are doing or for those that don’t speak or understand English. I stood in line for 15 minutes because the four self checkout lines were having problems and they each had to wait for an employee to assist them. These employees walked around as if there was no one waiting and without a care in the world. The two employees in the photo department kept telling each other how much they loved each other, give me a break, this is your job not your honeymoon! I finally lost my patience, dropped my items and walked out.

MINUTECLINIC — BOOOOO! Slow, surly service by a nurse practitioner(not a doctor) who is ultimately entirely unhelpful. You’re better off using a real urgent care facility. I’ve visited this clinic twice in the last few months for different reasons, and the results were exactly the same. First, the impersonal check-yourself-in computer is a pain and the little rubber-tipped pin you’re supposed to sign the screen with is impossible to use. After checking in, which was a 7 – 8 minute process with all the forms to fill out on the computer with the cumbersome interface, the computer told me what I already knew – that I was the only patient in line. Still, it took 28MINUTES!(«minute clinic,» my @$$) before the little door opened and the nurse practitioner came out and called my name. The NP(same one both visits) is smug and condescending, and has this superior attitude like she thinks her job is to prove me wrong about what’s bothering me. Now I’m not one of those Web MD hypochondriacs who runs to the doctor thinking every sniffle is a horrible disease. Today, I had the same sinus infection I get every single year, and a Z-pack always clears it up in a couple days. I’m a professional singer, and I depend on my voice to make a living. Over the years I have learned to feel the difference between a cold and a bacterial sinus infection. I can also tell whether I’ve got strep, and whether it’s viral or bacterial. I know my body. I’m very sensitive to what different infections feel like. But she just wanted to argue with me. Seriously, I think she was getting off on it. She flatly refused to listen to me, and at the end of the visit, did not give me any antibiotics. She treated me like I was some kind of drug-seeker – as if I just came in off the street with a made-up story, fiending for Azithromycin. Did I mention smug and condescending? Yeah, this woman has no bedside manor whatsoever. Most doctors I’ve visited over the years know how to LISTEN to what their patient is telling them about how they feel. This girl interrupts, rolls her eyes and does that under-her-breath«mm-hmm» that communicates just how much of an idiot she thinks you are. Clearly this place is not concerned with helping anybody feel better. But they’re happy to waste your time and then bill your insurance company $ 200 for doing nothing for you. Don’t go here. Go to your doctor, or go to an urgent care facility. Minute Clinic is a scam.

The people at the pharmacy are very Professional and very friendly. The old employees will remember your name most of the time. I’m very happy with their service except for always being short staffed and therefore having to wait in line an average of 15 to 20 minutes. The volume of business that CVS and the Pharmacy are doing justifies increasing the personnel at the cashiers. It would show Some respect to their and gratitude to their loyal customers. I’m considering having my drugs being shipped to me directly from the insurance’s company’s drugstore just because of this issue. Hopefully they will wake up to this reality and change before more customers do the same. Rafael B.

I thought this would just be another normal CVS, but I was very surprised with how professional the pharmacists and all of the techs were. I was helped by(I think) the pharmacist named Claudia and she was wonderful! I had a few questions and she answered them very thoroughly and quickly. I really couldn’t have asked for better. The only downfall is that I went to this CVS because I was in the area, but there are closer ones from where I live. Overall, this is a very good pharmacy to patronize, especially if you are in the Key Biscayne area.

Not only is this one of the most convenient places to shop on the key it has a great pharmacy. I dropped off a prescription and was able to shop for the 10 minutes they took to fill it. They always have great deals on select items so I picked up some necessities. Bringing them with me to the pharmacy counter they were able to charge me for all my items together.

Dear CVS, Boy this is a tough one. While I want to give you 5 stars for having more name-brand/luxury products than any other CVS(or even Wlagreen’s) store I know, I have to take a star away for how busy and packed this place always is. While I guess that this might not be fair, its just ridiculous to me that there’s always a long line and only 2 cashiers. This is the main pharmacy on the island. There are some small boutique pharmacies, but as for chains, this is IT. So management here should safely assume that its ALWAYS going to be busy and then staff accordingly. That being said, that’s my only gripe at this CVS. While at work, this is my go-to for Red Bull, headache meds, or even just to peruse the makeup on my break. Its conveniently located RIGHTACROSSTHESTREET, which is a major bonus. The staff and management here are always friendly and attentive, so you also get major brownie points for service. CVS, my only recommendation is to have some extra staff to handle the busy workload. Other than that, you are doing a fantastic job. :) Thanks for the great selection of quality products! Best regards, SabrinaAnna*
