New China Fresh

Only order from here because it’s close to where I live. But their spare ribs are tough and not tender. Their chicken can be over cooked. And wow! The customer service is the pits. The woman can be rude, depends on the day. But the young guy they have there can really be a piece of work. I have to stop going before I cuss him out something proper.

I’ve ordered from here a few times, mainly because it’s the closest Chinese to my house. Sadly, I will not be ordering again. The food has declined greatly over the past six months. Today when ordering, the sweet and sour chicken was well over cooked and hard as a rock. The vegetables have a really bland taste as well. Overall, just not very good. I will say the delivery was quite quick today, which is why I’m rating two starts.

Every single time I order from here, the food never leaves me feeling guilty or gross afterwards. My always go-​to Chinese spot. They always get my order right and it’s always delicious!

ive been ordering from this place for 2 years ive always got the same meals from this place every time and yesterday the delivery man delivered the wrong food. this delivery guy is a very very nasty guy as well as unfriendly and just overall bad for business the last time i got food delivered from this place i did not tip because i live less than 300 Ft away from this place and the delivery guy cursed at me and threw my food on the ground. a tip is not an obligation it is ones choice. ive only gotten food from here delivered twice and it seems like this guy cant get it rite this guy needs to be fired and they need to hire a new guy. I also will say that this delivery guy i very dangerous if you see him on the road or sidewalk driving his motorized bike you should get out of his way because he almost hit me on more than one occasion also he has gotten many tickets issued by NYPD for the way he drives and for parking his bike on the side walk

If i could put no stars i would have because that is exactly what they deserve i usually tip right but when my teenage sisters order 14 $ worth of food they gave him 15 and refuse to give the food because he wanted more tip! after they just finished paying when i told him to give me my food because i just paid for it he yelled at me threw the food at me and threw the menu at my face and i am PREGNANT !!! who does that to a pregnant female? And when i called the restaurant the girl who answered said I should have tipped more and would not stop laughing. To top it off food was def not great quality. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE EVER ! I still cannot believe this happened smh!!! How do people who treat their customers like this stay open? Like wow.

Their food is not as good as Jade Chinese Restaurant on Lefferts a couple of blocks away buttt, this establishment is closer and takes credit card. Those are the only reasons I order from here sometimes.

The lady that takes your order is so rude ! I highly don’t recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone !! Customer service sucks big time !!!

I originally called another Chinese food restaurant but they never answered. So I began to look on Unilocal to see what else was around. I’ve passed by this place a few times and decided to give it a try. I ordered beef and broccoli (next time I’ll request well done.) boneless spare rib was superb! Better than the original spot I always order from. Fried rice was very tasteful! I also ordered some chicken nuggets and used the sweet red bbq sauce from the boneless spare rib to dip them in. Great experience and delivery didn’t take that long. Will order again in the future.

Just had New China Fresh Special no.6 which consists of General Tso’s chicken, mixed vegetables, and fried rice, and a choice of soup or soda. They actually add onion and green peas as they fry rice, so it tasted fresh when I had it. So thats a plus. The portion in general was big but wish there was a bit more chicken. The chicken was crispy and not too much of breading, the veggies were good, I liked the combination a lot! The egg drop soup was just ok. And all was $ 6.55 and I paid $ 7.13 after tax.

I placed a delivery order from this location today and once the delivery guy arrived he complained and told me my house was too far. (I’m 0.9 miles from the place and according to Google maps it’s a 10 minute drive). He «impolitely“told me to order from another place closer to my house next time. Where’s the professionalism? Is it my fault that I searched for a Chinese restaurant on Seameless and found this one available?
I found it offensive and obviously will never ever give a penny to this place again. Maybe it would be a good idea if New China Fresh restricted orders within ¼ mile radius or less from where the restaurant is located. I’ll certainly leave a negative feedback on all possible social networks and review sites.

The worst customer service, the food taste awesome but because of their attitude i will never order from them again then the curse you out for giving a 7 dollar tip on a 12 dollar order to come 2 blocks away seriously???
There are other restaurants with the same quality food and alot better service

This is only place I order from, they are very fast and ways get my order right. I have read other reviews, but I noticed during that time was when this place was changing owners/​some workers. I love the beef broccoli and the orange chicken. Now that they have online ordering, I use only now, very easy.

I love Chinese food, but my wife doesn’t. Most of the Chinese she’s had has been greasy, slimy, etc. A few months ago she finally acquiesced to my begging and let us order in from this place. Fast forward to tonight — she actually SUGGESTED we order Chinese from this place. Woah!
Food is fantastic — no gross MSG headache, food not overly greasy, and the delivery is always quick.

I just called to order and wanted to substitute a item in my order… noodles instead of mixed veggies. I was willing to pay extra. She said she is to busy to change something that she couldn’t do it. She informed me to call later when they are not busy. They are in the customer service industry and are not willing do change anything. I told her I would never eat there again. Aviod this place!

Avoid. Avoid. AVOID. Ordered from here tonight for the first time (and last) and they got our order wrong. They said a replacement was on the way but that was over an hour ago and they’re closed now. So they lied.
We ordered the S&S Chicken Combination Platter, which means that it includes pork fried rice. Instead we got bland white rice that tasted like it had been microwaved. Won tons were TINY and tasted mediocre. The chicken itself was okay but that’s the only thing the whole ordeal had going.
The delivery guy was horrid. I doubt the «restaurant» cares though. They already have your money by the time he’s come and gone. Well take it ’cause you won’t get it from us or our friends.
Maybe this review will help others avoid the headache.
Wish I’d have gone to one of those American burger joints now. There are a few good Chinese takeaways in the area, this isn’t remotely one of them. Shame, too. We’re looking for a reliable one.

Do you know where my food is? I don’t. It’s been an hour, even though you said it would only be half that time. I tried to call you. I didn’t understand what you were saying, so you hung up on me. Will I get my food? Who can say? I’m very hungry and I think I don’t like you anymore.

THIS place sucks majorly! The idiot that answers the phone needs to go back to basic grammar school. Every time I order from this place my order is screwed up. It sucks because it’s that only good Chinese fast food in the area. I really have to find a new spot. So just be aware that your food mY take hours to get to you or that you can count on an idiot there to mess up your order!!! GOOD REDDENS

New China is a regular take out Chinese joint. The food is ok.

These are the same people who used to operate Tasty Chopsticks.
I’m a huge fan of Chinese food– good thing I live in Queens, there are mediocre take-​out restaurants all over the place.
When it comes to Chinese take-​out, you want high-​quality food at inexpensive prices. New China Fresh satisfies that business plan. The General Tso’s and Sesame Chicken dishes are not too crunchy; the sauces they use are great; and their pork-​fried rice is awesome. To top it all off they have «New China Fresh Specials» which are cheaper than their normal combinations. For around $ 5.25 it comes with your dish, a nice portion of rice, steamed vegetables, and a soup or soda. Good luck beating that!
