Alley Cat Chic has to be Dayton’s best kept secret. This little vintage boutique is filled with such a variety of items, that I find it impossible to leave without something. Vendors sell everything from French Country to Industial, primitive antiques to mid-​century modern, and pottery to vintage clothing. The perfect place when shopping for myself or for a friend. I have always found the employees to be friendly and extremely helpful. The shop carries Annie Sloan Chalk Paint too! Be careful though, it is highly addictive. Once I started painting, I couldn’t stop.

Had a great time, really cute boutique! My friends and i visit often now because it always is changing and we don’t want to miss out. I love how things are perfectly displayed, it always gives me fresh ideas on new projects. the two that are usually there are very helpful when I need input for ideas. Check them out, you will enjoy!

I typically love little places like this as I love knick-​knacks. I had been meaning to stop in here ever since it was on Stroop Rd in Kettering, but just recently stopped by this summer at the more recent location. It was very nice inside and they had a lot of stuff. However, there were signs everywhere to deter thieves, and every time I went past the counter, the lady working was just watching the cameras. She never spoke to me or greeted me or anything. I understand anti-​theft measures but nobody wants to be treated like a criminal while they are shopping the whole time. So, even though it was something I should in theory have liked, I generally just didn’t like the attitude or atmosphere of the place… and some of the prices were kind of steep.

Cute boutique with lots of sellers to choose from BUT the woman working saw and passed my husband and I numerous times making eye contact but never once asking how we were, if she could help us, or anything! We were highly interested in several items so we took cards of the sellers whose displays and items we liked but I have no interest in spending my money at this particular boutique. Rude.
