Off the beaten path… and I mean way off. The cabin is difficult to find and just when you think you are completely lost, that is when you know you have arrived. The grounds are unkempt and there are even goats in a pen. The real charm comes from the cabin itself. The entire cabin is constructed of cedar wood so if you are allergic to it, load up on allergy medicine or avoid it. The scent of cedar cannot be avoided. I stayed in the«Some like it hot» cabin. Pets are allowed in this cabin. There are 2 bedrooms with queen sized Sleep Number beds in each. Separating the two bedrooms is the dining area and kitchen. There is a stove, microwave, toaster, sink, dishes, and flatware. The bathroom is extra-large and the water pressure and temperature are amazing. The cabin itself appears to be sealed up pretty good to prevent critters from wondering in.

This place is a very inviting bed and breakfast! Went here 2 christmases ago and then went back last year in February. By far my personal favorite is the delicious breakfast! Waking up to a warm home made gourmet breakfast is any persons dream! Ground beef wrapped in grape leaves, served with an egg cassarol, and a potato cassarol, and then you get your dessert! Apple cobbler or a peach cobbler and apple juice to help walsh it down! And this was just 1 day, each day is always different and always delicious! It is just minutes from Kerrville, but still far enough that you can enjoy peace and quiet and no city lights. Take the time to go out and enjoy a walk on their property or head out to either Kerrville or Fredericksburg!
