Motel 6

I was very pleased with Motel 6. It was easy to get to and it was very clean. The renovations were nice. The bed was firm and I slept really well.
The staff were polite and friendly. I didn’t realize that Motel 6 was totally «bare bones» and when I requested shampoo, the gal at the desk cheerfully gave me a few small packs. (Also, don’t forget your blow dryer!)
The price is fantastic and I love that they’re pet friendly. There is actually a dog walking area with waste bags provided.
I would stay here again.

The floors here are filthy. After walking around our room for 30 minutes, the bottom of our feet were completely black. And they seem to be popular with motorcycle gangs.

I called in and reserved a room, on arrival the terrible front desk worker informed me that the wifi wasn’t working which should’ve been something he told me over the phone. He then just handed me my keys and told me to have a nice night, never mentioned where my room was or told me when check out was. I would never go back to this place and if you’re looking for a place to stay, anywhere is better than this place… I hope the person who helped me see’s this and reconsiders his job, because he’s clearly not qualified for something as simple as this. He was working the afternoon of Thursday, May 28^th incase an employer is wondering. Thanks Motel 6.

1) Disabled and Motel only has 1 dedicated Handicap Parking Space and 1 that is missing a sign and not marked properly causing anyone to park there. I have osteoarthritis and had to walk across the parking lot in extreme pain.
2) I was originally booked Thursday-​Tuesday called 72hrs in advance to cancel and no issue was made and verifed I would not be charged for anything but Thurs-​Sat…
Upon checkout they charged me for 4 nights explained situation and what I was told they still tried to charge me for 4 nights, after 10mins of arguing they stated the correct amount and «would be nice» and give me the full amount.
3) Roaches found in room, water pressure is almost nonexistent and the heating/​cooling system are on their last leg and noisy. This place definitely needs renovation and updating.
My opinion is this place is fraudulent and would avoid this hotel… Pay a few dollars more and enjoy your stay without hassel.

Moving from Houston to Las Vegas, we needed a place to crash and this was it. The price was the lowest quote and it seemed the easiest for parking our truck and trailer when looking at satellite photos on google maps.
I have to say that the outdoor lighting at night is very nice and bright and I appreciate the white clear light they put out as opposed to the more yellowish light at the motel next door, but honestly, I’d have given the other guys a chance if they had quoted a lower price, though now that I know I have a sure thing with this place, I’d stop here next time.
Interesting footnote. We were quoted a price on the phone that was $ 3 cheaper than what they were going to charge us, when we mentioned the discrepancy, they lowered it without challenging us – I suspect as night draws near, all these motels guys are making up rates on the fly when you call in so try to remember the quoted rate of the motel you finally select.
All in all, I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there, but its a fine location, no problems at all, and the service was good.

I almost gave this two stars but I have been on the road for more than 25 hours and I could just be grumpy.
PRO: front desk staff (night) is very friendly.
CON: The motel was built in 1997 and absolutely nothing has been done to update the property.
Towels and wash rags need to be tossed and replaced. They are truly rags.
The carpet doesn’t appear to have been steam cleaned in years and NEVER replaced.
Would not return to this property.
