When we are on a short trip, this is our Hotel of choice. Always clean. Smiling Faces. And no additional charge for our pup. Every one slept well & had a decent breakfast before departure!

We were driving home to California from Louisiana. It was middle of the night, we were tired and needed to find the hotel for one night. We googled LaQuinta and they answered the phone right away. The room was very clean and nice, AC worked great and the bathroom was quite big. They have swimming pool that is available from 10 am till 10 pm. Also gym. They served breakfast from 6 am till 9 am, on weekends till 10 am. We were very pleased with our room, it was a great value!

Definitely better options than this hotel in Kerrville. Very worn, dirty common areas and small rooms. Staff is pleasant and dog friendly are the only things it has going for it.

Easy to get to off I-10. Upon arrival, the front desk was nice and the property was fairly clean. But, the sheets were so pilly and scratchy. Pet –friendly. A typical LaQuinta.

I am a weekly traveller and stay at a few different hotel brands per week. I was extremely pleased with this La Quinta Inn. The room was clean, the sheets seemed new and the bed was very comfortable. The fridge and microwave were hidden conveniently in a cabinet made for the purpose. It was pleasant to not hear the fridge run whenever the compressor kicked on. The television was well located and all of the channels came in crystal clear in high definition. I hate staying at hotels that advertise cable TV as a perk but it is just a weakened over split signal that looks like garbage. This hotel had it nailed for the channel quality. The wifi was very fast and readily accessible. I had reservations of this hotel after reading previous reviews but it appears the owner listened and made necessary adjustments. I saw zero evidence of problems previously reported. The staff was super friendly and the facility was very clean. The fitness center was also better than most I have seen in hotels. Sleep here with confidence.

I’ll cut to the chase and say that their sheets were so threadbare, they split in two places in the middle of the night. Anyone with eyes could’ve seen all the tiny holes, but they put them on the bed anyway. And then I had to try and sleep with parts of the mattress pad exposed(try forgetting that countless people have slept on it and it probably isn’t washed often. Ewwww.) Front desk wasn’t very receptive or apologetic when I brought it to their attention. Whomever is managing this property doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to quality control. Go to a hotel that replaces their sheets regularly and keeps tabs on what they’re serving up to their guests. This one needs an overseer who’s engaged and actually cares about such things.

This was the first stop on my 4 night journey from Houston to Southern CA. I booked LaQuintas each night BUT, NEVERAGAIN… When I came in teh other direction I had a problem at the Fort Stockton location and thought that was just a one-time experience so I thought I would give it a try again. HOWEVER, once again, the property in Kerrville left a lot to be desired. 1) On check-in, there were no valet carts to move luggage. 2) The doors to the rooms are«paper thin» I mean they were so thin you could hear someone breathing on the other side of the door. 3) There were too many DOGS — the barking never stopped. 4) Once AGAIN, the linens were stained — STAINEDLINENS ! Clean Linens are a very basic requirement of a hotel ! 5) The bedsheets didn’t fit the king-sized bed — they were popping off on all corners. 6) The light at the entry didn’t work and the closest light switch was in the bathroom a good distance from the door — so this was a dangerous situation. 7) noisy kids in rooms several doors away BUT the doors are so thin … YOu get the picture. I gave this property 1 star only because theres no way to give 0 stars. There are plenty of other hotels /motels in this area I suggest booking one of them.

I stayed at the La Quinta a few weeks back while passing through and it was ok, but not the best experience. The check-in was smooth, but the hotel is a bit dated. The elevator is slow and a bit rickety. The A/C seemed to only have freezer or off settings, despite there being a thermostat on the wall. The bathroom was pretty nice and the sheets seemed clean but the fitted sheet actually came loose twice which is not so great. So, it’s ok, but I’ll probably try to check out a different place if I’m passing through town again.

We walk in and, once I give my name, am greeted with a «Hello, Mr. Ryan. We’ve got all of these wonderful things for you, and here’s your room key and off you go.» Wow… a 1.5 minute check-in. Sweet! It pays to stay at the same hotel chain! Except: The cold water faucet in the bathroom would shut completely off if you pushed it all the way cold. No good reason… just would go off. The lights by each side of the bed were too dim. But to make up for it, they could only be on IF the hall light was on. So… no reading while your partner sleeps quietly. Too little light to read by, but by God, no one’s going to sleep in here! The A/C fan is set to stun. Unless, of course, you don’t want it to run constantly, which gives you the fun of alternating quiet/90db fan/quiet/90db fan, and so on. Meaning that the best alternative is constant 90db fan. No eggs for breakfast? Really? Not any incarnation? No yogurt? And the only milk choice is whole milk? WTF? So I can have cereal with whole milk, or biscuits and gravy or doughnuts/muffins, or bananas that look like they went bad a week ago? Oh, I guess I could have an apple… THAT’S an appetizing breakfast. So basically my realistic choices are things-that-make-me-fat, or an apple. Great. Despite my finding fault, it’s too nice of a hotel to give it only 2 stars, but there’s no way this one deserves 4 stars. Actually for $ 100/night it’s a 2−½ star hotel. But I’ll default to 3 for the star treatment check-in procedure.
