Update: Moved into our new home and had Mike come out again and fix a couple of network cable terminations for me. He was prompt, professional, and fast. Mama is back online, and you know what they say: Happy wife, happy life. («It’s difficult to teach an online class if you don’t have Internet.») Thanks Mike!

Rented a new spec home which had the ethernet cat6 run throughout but without any terminations (dead end wires behind the wall plates and in the attic). Mike came out professionally hooked up my switch in the attic, completed all the terminations at each wall jack and in the attic. He did it all in about an hour. Very efficient and very affordable hourly rate. I used to DIY this kind of stuff — not any more. Not when I can get a pro to do it in ¼th the time and know it is done right.

My computer was running really, really, really slow… I thought it was competing programs but it turned out the hard drive was on the way down the drain. Fortunately, it was under warranty and they were able to salvage everything.
There are three things I don’t like to talk about: 1) insurance 2) car stuff and 3) computer stuff. I just want them to work and I don’t want to know anything else. I am confident that Advanced Computer Repair can handle my computer needs in the future.
The customer service was great! I’m new to Kerrville and was relieved to find such a friendly contact in Candice (business owner with her husband). I’d rather give them the business than take it to the big city and give a big blue box my business. Thanks, Candice for doing such a great job and for making me feel welcome!
