«WHEREDOESHEFINDALLTHESERARECOLLECTIBLES?» THEGOOD: –owner has developed a name in the toy/comic and DJ industry for quality. -«G» is one of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. –rare items at bargain prices –always updating inventory –great location –very knowledgeable THEBAD: –wish the shop wasn’t exclusive to Kent, WA. THEDECISION: Sometimes you meet people you just want to buy from. «G» is one of those guys. He’s a straight up honest business man who knows his industry real well. He’s originally from California and has developed a huge following through his ebay and online stores. This is his«stand-alone» store where you can go look and touch the stuff. It’s great if you live in Kent, Washington but if you don’t…online and ebay are just as good! We gotta support good shops like this.

G and Sons is A-OK. I think G stands for Gerald, but I’m not sure who his sons are. It’d be weird, though, because Gerald seems to be in his 20’s and it’d be crazy if his sons were old enough to run the shop with him. Anyway, friendly as hell, close to work, and super accommodating. His browsing selection isn’t great at all, but it’s a great little shop if one knows what he/she is looking for and puts it on their pull list. He saves my books for me every month that way. The cons: –Being a kiosk, he can only keep so many books at once –G and Sons is a kiosk in the middle of the Great Wall Shopping Mall –G doesn’t have a credit card machine. Cash only. The pros: –Friendly dude who knows you by name and knows what you like –The parking is easy– not at all like Zanadu. I’ve literally left work at five, driven to Zanadu, and not been able to park my car before closing time before. –G bags and boards every book. I don’t care much about bagging and boarding my own books, but it makes me happy that he’d take the time and make the effort. He seems to be the only game in town if you work south of Seattle and don’t feel like making a rush-hour drive to Zanadu or Comics Dungeon. The friendliness and the fact that I can have most of my favorite books saved for me every week is what earns the guy a 3 star review.
