I’m compelled to write about my expiernce yesterday as it was that poor. Walk in, no one in line for sandwiches. Sweet. Not. The spicy Italian is more expensive than from the land I come, Tacoma. Boo on that. This is Kennewick, how can that be more than puget sound region? I plugged on although there were other food options available but I had a taste for subway and it was near my hotel. The two female employees took their time getting to me while they discussed an employee who was transferring, fired, or something. They finally engaged me, then continued to discuss the new bread policy. While my sandwich was heated they discussed financial aid or some such crap. My sandwich was delivered from the oven. I would give another star for having provolone as a cheese option but it did not make up for the added expense, the trashing of other employees or company policy, and the fact that this is Kennewick, Kennewick! So my sandwich is out of the oven and I have full attention of one of them. I request mayo on bread before any veggies. She reaches for a squirt bottle clearly marked«lite mayo». I stop her. I’d like regular mayo please. She squirts a bit of the«lite» mayo on my bread and says this is the only mayo we have. WTF? I ask why. I feel the ire of the other female rise, I have her full attention and I think she might kick my ass. I say I would like more please. She goes to the cooler and grabs another bottle and proceeds to douche my sandwich with a mayo bottle that is not marked«lite». I finally tell her, «that’s good». She probably delivered over ½ cup of mayo on my sandwich as some kind of rub. I finally said that’s enough. So clearly they do not have a lite mayo option… or maybe they don’t have a regular mayo option? My guess is it’s whichever is cheaper for the owner… Rich, which I learned listening to your employees. Visit was 6⁄14 at about 4 pm. Rich, you should train your staff and reconsider your pricing. I like that you have provole but that is the only thing going here. It’s subway, so my standards aren’t high up you failed my low expectations.

Food is excellent as I expected. Line was short, so speed was good as well. But staff is a bit on the arrogant side. We ordered the children’s sandwich for my niece and nephew. She screwed up and made 6-in.(Supposed to be 4 in. I guess). Then she looked at us like we were lying when it came to paying and we reminded them we ordered the children’s sandwich. I don’t care much about the cost differential. But blaming the customer when YOU make a mistake is not the way to win friends and influence people. I hope that the attitude was the server, and not a management issue. Management needs to remember(and remind their staff) that a satisfied customer might tell one person; a dissatisfied customer tells 10. Case in point, I might not have mentioned server attitude in a review except for the questionable handling. Will I be back? Possibly; but I will likely pause and consider.

Where is the manager? What a disaster. Disorganized, out of this, out of that, sandwiches toasted then sat forever waiting for veges then hassled to pay and choose veges at the same time. Then drive thrus jumped the line. Subway is usually our safe bet that makes everyone happy. Steer clear!!!

Stopped here during a roadtrip. Didn’t have to wait long even though it was prime lunch time. Being turned off of the lunch meat from a previous Subway visit(different location) I went with a cup of Minestrone soup. It was decent. I probably wouldn’t get it again but it wasn’t terrible. And the price was right. Still upset that corporate discontinued the Subway rewards program…

There salads are $ 1.50 more than all the other subways in the area. They claim they don’t have Internet access so you can’t us a credit or debt card.

We find ourselves grabing quick food quite often, while still trying to be mindful of some sort of health. The nice thing about Subway is that it presents a much healthier option than all the burger joints around. Plus the fresh ingredients help it taste better as well. We have tried our fair share of Subways and this one stands out above all the others in Kennewick. We drive past three others from our house to get to this one. They consistantly build excellent sandwiches. They have a drive through if you cant get out. Us having three young boys im sure you understand the benefits of that. They always pack our sandwiches full instead of the skimpy portions most other restaurants in the chain hand out. Me and my wife usually split a footlong Turkey breast and it is more than satisfying. My only complaint about this store, is they take thier time building the sandwiches and the drive through gets priority. So it may take you a while to get in and out. For us it is worth it. So I am giving them a four instead of five because of speed, and well they are a chain and I am not giving a chain a five star rating. Go try and enjoy if you like fresh subs
