Visited tonight with my husband and kids. Short wait for a table, excellent service, good food. Appetizer nachos were ok but slightly burned and underwhelming. Cubano sandwich was good. Pizzas were good… though $ 16 for a personal sized pizza kinda hurts when I can get a large delivered for less. But you’re paying to be served, so that’s how it goes. Atmosphere is cool but the tables and chairs are packed in tightly. Our waitress was awesome. We’d be willing to eat there again.

My boyfriend and I went in for a quick bite and ordered the Sancho pizza and split it. It was excellent, especially with a bit of sriracha on the side! Our server John was very nice and gave us awesome service. It was a great first experience and we definitely be back.

My wife and I had lunch here several times when it was just called ‘Fire’ and we enjoyed their lunch specials. Today was the first time I’d been in since the ‘Brimstone’ was added. Our favorite items(garlic salad, for one) are no longer on the menu, and prices have increased to the point that the portions are not a value. They couldn’t even make both things we ordered today, because first they were out of cheese and then ran out of bacon. Really, at 2:00 on a Sunday? The«raspberry iced tea» was brown water that tasted like weak lemon rinds, and Coke was blamed because it came to the restaurant in a box. It’s too bad what happened to this place.

Found this place by accident and loved it. The pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is a fun industrial steampunk vibe. Be warned that pizzas listed with a flame symbol on the menu have a definite spicy kick.

The three of us were the fourth table upstairs. It wasn’t busy but it took some time to get our order taken. Then longer to get our food. We ordered the smashed potato as an appetizer and it came out thirty seconds before the meal. The food was good. The whole experience was slow and disappointing. We asked for a to go box and were told they were downstairs. Then the guy went downstairs. We thought to grab us a box. He then came back up and walk passed us about six times saying nothing with no box. We won’t come back.

Drinks were too expensive for what you get(i.e. Morgan’s and coke $ 11). Pizza was okay, but not worth the money. The nachos were gross and we didn’t eat even half of them or take them home. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Wish we had checked the reviews before stopping in here on a whim. Horribly mediocre food. The sandwiches, wraps, and burgers come with chips that seem like they simply came out of a bag. And the beer, oh the beer, I had two different drafts which were both flat, warm, and honestly just funky. I couldn’t tell if they were the bottom of the keg, if the tap lines had never been cleaned, or if the kegs were even kept refrigerated. But for a place that revolves primarily around pizza and burgers, you’ve got to at least have ice cold and drinkable beer. Two stars go to the staff and the staff alone, they were great, super attentive, and willing to go the extra mile. Sucks to see a place with such good real estate and friendly workers have such sub par dining.

Great food and friendly staff! The food didn’t take long at all. The food is excellent! But the bar stools have to change sitting on them killed my back.

My boyfriend ordered nachos to go yesterday around 4:30 and the sucked! Worst nachos for $ 14 I’ve ever had! A box full of chips with a pinch of cheese a side container of beans. I was so pissed but he brought them to me at work so I could not leave and take them back to complain! So, instead I decided to write my first Unilocal review because that was the most pitiful box of chips anyone has ever had to pay $ 14 for.

What a bummer! I love this place when it was Fire Artisan Pizza out of Spokane, but with the ownership change(I’m assuming anyhow) the menu is less interesting and the food is not nearly of the same quality. I have been there twice now since it changed names. Get with it kids!

Great pizza and great staff! The only negative thing is my beer was a little on the warm side. The waiter said it was due to a line exposed to sunlight but he frosted the second glass and it was fine. Can’t wait to come back to town and try a burger. They look big and delicious coming out of the brick ovens.

Food and atmosphere are great. The food is a little pricy, but quality is high. The menu is much better since ownership changes. Try the nachos, you won’t be disappointed!

New ownership has integrated a bit more passion for food and suds(not many places I’ve been have offered Lips of Faith’s «La Folie» on tap). They offer a rotating tap list of around 10 beer varieties and some decent local wines(CMS comes to mind). In regards to the grub, I’ve explored the menu some — but I tend to stick to what works for me. Thus, I can recommend the Nachos without blinking an eye. The pizzas are good and I’ve had a few varieties — certainly a worthy choice. The rest of the menu is a bit of an enigma to me at this point — but based on the owner’s interest in grub, I would say you’d be safe ordering from top to bottom. The venue has the look and feel of a hollowed out Urban Outfitters(concrete /industrial /construction-chic vibe) and seats indoors and out. The bar seats need improvement(tall and small) and the service has always been a bit underwhelming — by which I mean at times slow and dismissive.

If you haven’t been here yet, it’s probably best that you come experience the food. The pizza is on point! It’s a cleanly place which would be great for groups and kids(if earlier in the night) I ordered the parlor pizza. When it came I meant to take a photo but it looked and smelled too good, I forgot. Also, customer service was great. Another person at our table was brought the wrong pizza initially. They let her keep the pizza and brought another full pizza for free. Very accommodating and very upbeat/friendly. I will definitely be back in the future.

Please heed the warning about the smashed fries! They are awful. I would describe them but other posts have it covered. My wife claims she likes them, but aside from her and somebody born in Ireland during the depression, nobody in the world would think they are good… let alone pay 6 dollars for them. Also, they claim penne with a Parmesean based cream sauce is Mac and cheese. Don’t fall for the trap. Waitress tried to pass it off like I was being too literal about what Mac and cheese is. I know I’m a five year old at heart for wanting Mac and cheese as a side, so this is unlikely to affect most people. My wife and daughter ate burgers. They were lousy(yes I tried them) and my wife agrees. Remember, this is the same chick that likes plain potatoes that look like they’ve been stepped on. When she doesn’t like it, you should turn and run. The boy had pizza. It was good. That pizza earned them a bonus star. You should probably not go here though… Unless you have low self esteem.

I am going to start this review out by talking about how our experience here ended. It ended with the restaurant providing a bill with all the food comped. This is a little impressive considering there were 10 of us dining… but then again, it was a ridiculous experience and we shouldn’t have had to pay for that food anyway. Even with a comped tab, this place just won’t win more that 2 stars from me. In fact, if it were not for the comped food tap it would have been a 1 star review, hands down. So here is what went wrong… Considering how busy they were, we really didn’t have to wait to be seated that long. And yes, they were pretty busy. Nothing crazy, I mean there was not a line of people waiting for a table or anything. In fact, I think we were the only group waiting to be seated at that time. We sat down and almost everyone in the group wanted to order a beer. Beer list please! Wait, what? You don’t have a beer list? So we had to ask the waitress what they had on tap. I guess this would have been fine except for how visibly annoyed she was by having to tell us their taps. Don’t get mad at us lady, get mad at your employer. They could save you this annoyance by providing the customer with a list of beers.(Note: there was a small placard in a plastic stand up thing on the table that listed 5 or 6 beers. These were all bottled beers. Not beers on tap. And yes, they have plenty of beers on tap that could constitute a list). Moving on… Smashed fries… don’t do it! I read the Unilocal reviews about this appetizer, but I thought«I’ll just try them for myself». Dang it. I really should have listened to you Unilocal! These«fries» are gross! I am not using that word lightly. They are just small round potatoes that are smashed into a flat potatoes. They are incredibly bland, not cooked thoroughly and nothing I will ever eat again. It’s like eating a baked potato with nothing on it at all(maybe a little salt). They really need to rethink this dish in a big way. Thank goodness it was comped. Everyone’s food came out at different times. Once person at our table did not receive his food until nearly 10 minutes after the rest of the table received theirs. I really think it had been forgotten somehow. We had to ask the waitress about it(who again seemed very annoyed). She told us «yeah, the kitchen is backed up». But, it was a salad. Again, moving on… A gentleman at our table who received some kind of pasta/chicken dish, told the waitress(in a very polite manner) «this dish is not hot at all, in fact it is a little cold. Is there any way you could take it back and have it heated up a little?» The answer given was a definitive NO. She said taking food back into the kitchen was a health code violation and that she could not do that legally. She said that she could just bring him a new plate. He told her that he was fine eating the plate he got, he just really wanted it to be at least warm. He was not interested in waiting another ridiculous wait time to get a new dish. Not to mention, everyone at the table was pretty much done eating since no one got their food at the same time. I cannot express how polite he was about this whole ordeal. Much more polite then I would have been at this point. I was so disappointed that she could offer no solution to the problem except to tell him that should could put in a new order for him(in a kitchen that is backed up). I have sent food back before that is cold and I have NEVER been told it is a health code violation. I am not saying this is false, as I am not an expert and really have no idea, but there has to be something a restaurant can do to heat up a meal, right? I’m not sure if it was just blatantly obvious how disappointed we all were in our food, or if our grumbling and complaining at the table made it clear how unhappy we all were with the experience. Whatever it was it caused the manager to approach our table and let us know that he is aware of the food/kitchen situation and wanted to apologize for how slow the kitchen was running and how backed up they were. He took all the food off our bill. That made a horrible dining experience a little more tolerable. I am glad they at least have a manager here who seems to know what to do in these kinds of situations. He was very polite and apologetic. We very much appreciated that. I hope that our experience here was just a fluke… but based on other reviews I am guessing it is not. I hope that manager of theirs can help turn this place around because it could be a really cool place. But for now… the service was lacking and the food was bad.

I think this place changed… from reviews/tips it has new owners? The staff was pleasant, fast and efficient, but the food wasn’t worth the price and I have no desire to go again. The place was near empty at dinner time on a Saturday. Should have known then! The appetizer we got were the smashed potato things-they were gross. Absolutely no seasoning and it didn’t come with the usual sides, just ranch which was nasty. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the grossest things I’ve ever tried at a restaurant. The pizza was okay but for $ 16, I’ll probably go somewhere else next time. I would give it less stars, but I feel guilty doing that to a locally owned business. Hopefully they can take the feedback and get the place back to what people enjoyed.
