Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

This locaiton has perpetual issues with scheduling. I had to cancel my membership due to no availability and then they actually cancled my appointment today! Do not expect good customer service either from this location… staff at the front desk do not seem to care.

Initially this seemed like a nice spa. My service caused me problems and when I voiced them, I was confronted and accused and treated VERY BADLY. I promptly ended my membership after being embarrassed in front of the front desk associate and was not called by the Manager as promised so I could explain my issues. I will not return to this spa. Very poor treatment of me, a customer. Appalling.

I had what was supposed to be an hour deep tissue massage last night. I have to say it was the WORSE massage I have ever had, and I get massages at least once a month. My sister had a gift card and I had a couple expired groupons, so we decided to go together. We traveled over 45 minutes to get there. She was taken back right at the scheduled time of 7pm and I was taken back about 10 minutes later. I finished and was in the waiting room for about 10 minutes waiting for her. I know my massage was NOT 60 minutes. I had told the masseuse I was having pain on the L side of my neck and upper back area on L side. If he spent 5 minutes on this area I’d say that was a lot. I felt worse after the «massage», which actually felt like he was just someone rubbing lotion on me. I ‘ve had a lot of massages and I’m not sure what technique this was supposed to be. When I checked out I gave the clerk my two groupons worth $ 68.00. She said I owed an additional $ 21.95. I thought she was joking. Joke was on me. It cost me $ 89.95 for someone to basically rub lotion on me for 40 – 45 minutes tops. I told her it was the worse massage I had ever had. She asked what number I could be reached at today for the manager to call. Well it’s 3:30 and I haven’t heard a word from said manager and I doubt I will. I’ve had services at other Hand and Stones but this is one I will not be going back to!

Had a signature facial done. It was really nice. As soon as you walk in you are greeted. They give you a bottle of water. If get a member’s card you get discounts and it rolls over if you can’t get in that month. By overall experience was very nice. It was my first time there so I don’t know how the other ladies are, but the young lady I had was so sweet and made me feel so relax.
