The panini is not a panini but a sub and the chicken breast inside was rubbery and inedible. When I told the waitress she just said«okay» and did nothing about it. Ironically, in this«Italian bistro,» the hamburger was quite good.

My spouse and I both ordered pasta seafood dishes. The waitress not only knew little about the menu, but acted like she did not want to be there. We both asked for spicey marinara sauce. My spouses dish was fine and while I love spice, my dish was not edible. I have never sent a dish back before because it was too spicy, but had little choice as it smelled like they dumped a jar of cayenne pepper in it. The waitres gave me a hard time about taking it back and neither apologized nor offered to redo the dish. She came back a few minutes later and said they would make me another dish, but I declined as I had lost faith in both her and the kitchen at that point. I told them I would not use my groupon and would just pay for my spouses meal. My groupon expired a few weeks later and I lost $ 30. The experience shows that it’s critical to hire the right people on both sides of the resturaunt. We have visited Floga Bistro close to 29 times, but after that experience and losing $ 30, will likely avoid it going forward.

First of all, I’m so glad they deliver. I’m sick, home bound a I can’t drive. So, we decided to order from them for the first time. I’m really glad we did. It was excellent. We ordered a cheese pizza with ½ olives and artichokes. It was great and the mozzarella was delicious. We also ordered penne with vodka sauce and it was SO good. My kid actually ordered it, but it kept finding myself sneaking bites off of his plate. My husband and I both ordered the Emperor’s Choice Panini. They were great and full of roasted veggies and fresh mozzarella. They came with home made chips, which were addictive. Finally, we ordered strawberry cheesecake and a cannoli. We are too full to try them now, but they look delicious. The people I spoke with on the phone and the delivery guy were all very nice. We will definitely order from them again.

Sorry to say that my wife and I had the same experience as AL D. 10 months ago. We arrived and we’re seated by the hostess, no problem. 15 minutes later we hadn’t been approached by the wait staff. Another table, almost across from us, was seated and their waitress was providing them with info on Specials and taking drink orders. Needless to say, we left. We’ve eaten here before and enjoyed the food. The disrespect is hard to take though. There are a lot of restaurants in this area — way too many to treat customers so poorly. BTW, we couldn’t complain to a hostess. She had left the premises, at 6:00.

Food was decent but the potions are child size. I got one of the seafood pasta meals. I ate the past in 4 bites. Not nearly enough food. And the waitress was a whack job.

Nice for a quick supper before a concert at Longwood Gardens recently. Attractive place even with the generic artwork. Service friendly, and menu offered a wide range of selections from casual to fairly serious. Only drawback on one of the coldest nights of the winter was that the big comfy booths that must be great most times still picked up the cold temperature from the tall windows that make up most of the restaurant’s front wall.

After a bad experience we were contacted by the owner and asked to give them another try and we did and we were not disappointed! The good was amazing, the service was great and we had a great night. I am so happy this place is back on our favorites list. Job well done Floga Bistro, thank you!

My wife is not pleased that I’m writing this review while we are still sitting in the restaurant at our table, but I was so inspired my meal this evening was soooo GOOD, I’m updating this review just after taking my last bite of my Veal Saltimbocca. While this has always been one of my favorite dishes here at Floga, tonight’s was the absolute BESTEVER!!! I can not compliment the Chef enough this evening!!!

Very nice above average lunch! Delicious avogolemeno soup as good as my dad’s. Hot fresh bread with dipping oil. Nice turkey club with deli meat turkey. Excellent sweet potato fries. Good wings. Pleasant service. Gross fountain soda.

food is above average, placing a delivery order is extremely painful, and they are cheap We order from this place regularly in part because there’s little else in the area to compete with it. Tonight I called up to place an order on a Wednesday night that totaled over $ 50. The woman who took my order was very pleasant but similar to other experiences they don’t know their own menu and it takes them forever to take your order. When I went to pay for the order over the phone with my credit card I informed the person taking my order that I had a coupon good for $ 5 dollars off of a $ 30 order. The manager on duty that night was named Tom and he refused to honor my coupon. He claimed that it was expired and from an old menu. I will post a picture of the coupon which clearly has no expiration date. When I asked to speak to the manager, he would not get on the phone but instead decided to honor a coupon for two dollars off, saving the business three dollars. Nice work on managing the restaurant Tom– The three dollars you saved has resulted in a one star review from a regular customer… Soon-to-be former customer.

We had dinner here one time before and the food was very good but the service was slow. This time we actually sat at the table and waited about 15 minutes and no one came to take even a drink order. So we left. If you have loads of time to just wait around this place is for you.

Came here with my parents for my Dad’s birthday on a sunday night. It was a slow night for them as the restaurant was probably 10% occupied. Portions are large. The stuffed mushroom app was the highlight of the meal. Somewhat unique in style which was different that I’m used to. Otherwise, relatively standard american fare. Ingredients were fresh but quality was average. Service was average. Friendly enough but I definitely could tell it was end of the shift. I thought prices were a little high for entrees. The paninis were a fair price for the size. Unilocal coupon if you check-in results in free dessert. That’s a nice touch.

Just experienced Floga for the first time and could not be happier. Excellent service and the dishes are wonderful. The sauce for their pastas are one of the best. We will be back!

I’m pretty new to the area, I move out here from Philadelphia where I can walk in any direction and find a great bite to eat. I found Floga through Groupon. I called about 3 hours prior to my arrival and was able to get a resv for that same evening(score). We were seated immediately at a table for two, Our waitress(Denise) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. A booth opened up next to us and she offered to move us to the bigger table without us even asking. I thought that was pretty nice. We ordered the Rustica pizza, Penne A le Vodka and a side of broccoli rabe to split between the two of us. The food was very flavorful and the portions were large. Although we were stuffed and took home a doggie bag we decided to order dessert. We split the lemoncello cake which was delicious. I would definitely return. Denise keep up the good job, your service was great.

Visited Floga Bistro on Sunday. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms app($ 10.99) and was very good and presented beautifully. That’s where the foodie fun ended. The Seafood Piccata($ 27.99) was supposed to have homemade pasta and didn’t and tasted like it. Asked if we could substitute the calamari for a little extra shrimp and scallops and was told we could, but didn’t seem like it. The shrimp and scallops were very good, however the pasta was a letdown for that price. The meatball panini($ 8.99) wasn’t anything special, but it was just okay. I would like to visit again as I hear the pizza is «amazing.» I would give this more stars, but we never got a discount on the for the mistake.

My family and I ended up here after intending to go to nearby Giordanos for a birthday dinner. It happened to be closed last night unexpectedly which turned out to be a fortunate turn of events because the meals we got were ultimately much better for similar pricing. The difference is in the complexity and depth of flavors in the italian entrees. The marinara sauce is excellent as were the fresh rolls and olive oil that preceded the meal. They are both good and I will return to both for certain items but this place is a clear step up in food qualtiy. We had Veal Saltimbocca, whole sea bass, Chicken Parmesan, Ravioli and Mediterranean salmon. Everyone was thrilled with their entrees. I plan to get the saltimbocca again some time. The service was prompt and attentive. It is also BYOB.

Yummy! Grilled calamari appetizer was deelish. Fresh and grilled nicely. Came with a little feta, fresh tomato, fresh lemon slices, drizzle of balsamic reduction and some greens. Also had a half of eggplant panini topped w spinach and a mixed green salad. It hit the spot! Pumpkin pie to go. GREATMEAL! What a find!

Always a great experience here. Great food especially the bread made fresh there. Best visit was last April when I mentioned to our waiter that I couldn’t get reception to check who was winning the Masters. Every time he refilled a drink or cleared a plate he quietly relayed what was going on. I don’t remember his name but he should be in the restaurant hall of fame.

Ok so I’m typing this as I’m eating so here we go. We started with grilled calamari. It was like eating a hose with balsamic vinegar. I got the special it’s lemon chicken with artichokes and shrimp in a white wine sauce and pasta(I ordered it with gluten free pasta). It comes with a soup/salad. I went with the salad with the house dressing. Apparently their caesar isn’t gluten free so I ended up with the house. WARNING: If you don’t like olives, do NOT get it. It’s basically straight up pureed olives and olive oil. Ok onto the pasta. The pasta was over done. The chicken and artichokes were boiled not sauteed(as they should have been). It made it extremely watery and bland. Supposedly there’s white wine in the sauce… where oh where has my white wine gone??? We also ordered the gluten free white pizza with portobellos, artichokes, and prosciutto. It’s paper thin and crunchy. It’s more of a tortilla than pizza dough but it’s tasty. I would do a white pizza again. The artichoke pieces on the pizza were GIANT! Like they opened the can and just slapped them on there. Overall it was good. BOTTOMLINE: Its expensive and kind of lack luster. Pizza is ok. Pasta wasn’t awful but not anything to write home about. I would stick to something simple like an alfredo pasta.

Just went to Floga on a Sunday for lunch, the place was dead and yet service was very slow. We had the Eggplant Parm, and BBQ Chicken pizza both were very good. Others at our table had the Chicken Parm Panini and the Meatball Panini. The chicken was pounded out so thin that it was more breading than chicken. There needs to be at least another layer on the sandwich bc it was mostly just bread. Meatball Parm needed another meatball as well. Hot bread that was brought to the table was very good. I would like a nice flavored olive oil for dipping instead of butter. Overall it was ok. I would give it another try.
