Asian Chao

So for the first time I was denied a free sample at the Asian place at the food court… Like, the woman was holding food up for people and when I reached out, she pulled it back and said no. Wth. The Greek place next door was much more friendly.

First of all, the cups say «Chao Cajun», so they either won’t spend money for correct cups or don’t have enough money to do it.
The bourbon chicken sample drew me in and that’s what I ordered. They must’ve given the sample lady the fresh batch because mine was very dry.
The fried rice was also super dry. Maybe they have their heat lamps too high or maybe they aren’t selling it quick enough, but definitely have a drink ready.
My other side was the cheese Rangoon. It was probably the only thing on my plate that I actually enjoyed. However it is VERY sweet. I ate one, but needed to wait until the end of the meal to eat the other as if it was dessert.
All in all, I don’t think I’ll be back. Since its in the food court of the mall, I have plenty of choices that are literally ten feet away.

Smiling faces and quick service doesn’t give the bland bourbon chicken enough credit for w return visit. The rice is dry and he veggies appear to either be rehydrated or warmed from frozen (either way, not fresh). Even for mall food, it doesn’t make the mark.
