Place was practically empty so I have no idea why I had to wait 30 minutes for the worse burger I’ve had in a long long while. Top bun inedible. Very friendly & helpful young lady at the register but I don’t go to restaurants to be treated nice. I go for good food. Maybe it was a fluke but there are too many other places so I won’t be back.

I’ve been coming here for over ten+ years, and this cozy place always is delicious. The cordon bleu sandwich with house fries is outstanding, and their hot meals(like the catfish dinner) are very tasty. For a little bit more privacy, simply go upstairs! The reason why I don’t give it a full rating is for a few reasons: the service is slow(be prepared to wait 20 min. for your food); the prices are a little steep for the quantity; the bathrooms can use a makeover. They have been a little on the dirty side the past few times I’ve been in. All in all, a great place to have coffee, a bite to eat, with good friends!

Hi, I am sending in a review on this particular restaurant in Kenner, La. Named Château Café. This Business is very low key, quaint and clean. They also have delicious meals as well as deserts. The staff is very cordial, helpful and happy.

Lousy place these days. I am a 40 year resident of Château Estates and have come here many times. It has steadily gone downhill to where the owner doesn’t paint the walls and railings. The stair tread is so worn the wood is showing. It has been this way for years. The latest is that a week ago I had a meeting there and had to switch to a different restaurant. Today a colleague called a meeting there at 10 am, same time as the one a week ago. It was very warm and uncomfortable. They aren’t going to fix it. No one cares and hasn’t for many years. This is it for me. I’m done. It is a shameless mess. Bud Logan

Very good coffee. Their iced coffee is cold brewed which seemed hard to find in the area. Cold brew makes a much better iced coffee! We didn’t try the food so can’t comment on that. We stayed for about an hour going over some paperwork and it was a pleasant atmosphere, although a little darker than I would have liked. Definitely recommend getting coffee there. Out of the four coffee shops that we tried in the Kenner area, they were by far the best!

Excellent local coffee shop environment. The coffee shop is two stories with a second floor balcony overlooking the first floor. The baristas are very friendly and seem committed to having your order perfect. The prices are slightly higher than other coffee shops, but this is expected at a local small business coffee shop. I would recommend this location as a great place to socialize with others or study.

Ok this is 3 times I’ve been here and the internet won’t connect. It works fine at every other coffee shop but this one… it’s infuriating and I’m thinking this may be my last time here!!!

So, I have family in Kenner and when I asked them on a recent visit about any good breakfast spots, they told me about this place. There are two locations in Kenner but this one is the original while the one located on Esplanade is newer and from what I hear, not as good. This older location was harder to spot and it took me a few rounds to find it but was well worth it. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and hashbrowns while the hubby had french toast and bacon on the side. I expected the food to be good but was shocked when the food came out because there was just so much of it! When I think of a croissant breakfast sandwich I don’t expect something very big or filling which is why I had the hashbrowns but I was so stuffed that I only had a few bites and sadly they were bland in comparison to my sandwich. I tried a piece of the french toast and it was above average and that says a lot because I really don’t care much for that particular dish but you could taste the cinnamon and the bread simply melted in my mouth. We went back the day before we left and both ordered the same things minus the sides of bacon and hashbrowns. A quick word about the establishment, when looking for this location, we found the new one and walked in but only to ask for directions to the older one and it was very clean but small and I have to say that you would be better off going to the older one because it is also clean but much more interesting. The staff was nice but not as friendly as I had hoped. I tried a brownie and a piece of a large rice crispy treat and while the brownie was decent, the rice crispy treat was dry and all that I could taste was the cereal. It looked yummy but they didn’t use enough marshmallow. My husband really enjoyed the café Mocha but I can’t say much else because I did not try it. If you are in the area, you must stop in for a delicious and filling breakfast oh and they have two more locations in Metairie and New Orleans so there is really no excuse not to go…

The staff in here is incredibly friendly and the Greek Wrap is awesome(DC ordered the turkey avocado on a crossiant and LOVEDIT) The coffee is pretty decent too, and the prices are reasonable. Clean, nice people and good coffee — all reasons to come here for a cup of Joe!
