Please proceed with caution when using this company. Although they are affiliated with a larger name, their professionalism proves that they are not at the same caliber. On the day of my move, they did not show up on the scheduled day because«something was wrong with the paperwork». When they showed up one day later, they were 6 hours late. The driver in charge of the movers was neither hospitable or accommodating but the 2 gentlemen working for him were the only reason I did not feel like I would never see my items again. My items were packed 1 week ago and I have still 0 idea as to when my items will be delivered outside of the 2 week window given in the original contract. On top of that, from a customer service standpoint, not one person has seemed to care that my personal belongings are in the hands of someone else that I have not been able to trust the word of. 2 Men and a truck might be more reliable based on their reputation and in my interaction with them from a customer service point of view the are far superior. I truly hope I get to see my items again. I guess that will be another review.

We moved from Brooklyn, NY to New Orleans, LA with Armstrong. We had them hire specialty movers to pack up the antique clocks and paintings. We chose the full replacement value insurance with no deductible. The clocks both broke. The 1835 mahogany buffet was gashed and scratched. The Thomasville dining table had a moving blanket melted into it during several months’ storage. One of the matching leaves was lost. The matching buffet had the finish scratched or rubbed off on the front edge. Two of four antique nesting tables had a leg ripped off. Two tiers of an antique 3-tier table had impact or compression damage. And there was other minor damage. We asked that the damage be repaired, rather than wanting money. We were content with the references provided by their chosen clockmaker. Their chosen furniture restorer never sent credentials or references. Therefore, we asked for monetary compensation. Their parent company denied 3 of the claims, alleging that it was caused by «inherent vice [in the construction of the furniture] including susceptibility to damage because of atmospheric conditions.» Really? Impact, scraping and compression are caused by humidity? And a moving blanket melting into our table is something we should expect? We are going to arbitration, but I cannot express how unhappy we are with this experience.
