Waiting to pick up our food we were watching the kitchen, everyone handling the food does not wear gloves, from touching your cooked noodles, to making the pizza, then touching the pizza crust all the way around cutting the slices. After scratching their hair, touching several different knobs and meats, pens and paper. Gross.

First time ordering pizza since we moved to the area a little over a month ago. Read great things about Rosa’s, so we decided to try it out. Stopped by on a Friday night and they were super busy and now we know why! Excellent New York style pizza made true Italian people. Super friendly folks, who hustle and work hard to get the food out. Everything is fresh and homemade. Will definitely be back!

Such a quaint place! You can see everything they make, because they do it right in front of you. I had the pepperoni and my partner had the calzone. Mine was a little greasy, oil was running faster than a sprinter in the olympics. Still good though, after I patted it dry. The calzone was delicious and the marinara to accompany it was divine. I ended up dipping my pepperoni in the marinara because it was so good.

What can I say about this place? This place is probably the best pizza, and the best spaghetti that I’ve ever had in Houston! The location is easily missed unless you’ve been here before, which is unfortunate, because the place is a wonderful establishment, & a pleasure to have in Katy. The wife and I decided to try this place after reading all of the positive reviews that have been posted here in Unilocal. When we got to the restaurant it seem like a little mom and pop hole in the wall that was very quaint. We started off the order by ordering a pepperoni pizza, and my wife ordered a plate of spaghetti in order to try the pasta to see how it was. We also ordered a bottle of wine for a really reasonable price of $ 18. Needless to say, the pizza was incredible! The pizza is probably the best pizza I have had in Houston! Real New York style pizza! The crust is to die for and the flavors of the pepperoni and the cheese are something that words cannot even describe. The spaghetti was a real culinary treat! At a very reasonable lunch price of $ 8.95, I got a bowl of salad big piece of garlic bread and spaghetti. All in all, the food was extraordinary and the wine selection was small but very varied for all tastes The only down side I found regarding this place is the fact that the fountain drinks are expensive. Each fountain soda will run you around $ 2.50 each! To sum up this review, I will go on record and say that this place is the best place for pizza or any other Italian fare. The owners are actually Italian, which adds to the authenticity of the food. I cannot recommend this place enough! Since my first visit to this place, I have been thinking about it nonstop and I must go back as soon as possible! Do not hesitate to make this your next Italian restaurant! Try this place and I’ll guarantee you will not be disappointed! My favorite pizza in all of Houston bar none!

We are fans of Fuzzy’s Pizza and Candaleri’s, but must say this is one of the best in Katy. We wanted to try something different, so we followed the reviews and chose Rosa’s. We were delightfully pleased with the from-scratch dough, ingredients, and pie. It was phenomenal. This place is now at the top of our list.

Coming from Buffalo, I’m very picky on my wings and pizza. Have been looking all over Houston for the best pizza. The wings have been pretty good through out the city. I understand this is a New York style pizzeria. I just don’t understand why every pizzeria has to be New York style The cheese on the pizza was the best part. Wings were pretty good. They were breaded but I enjoyed them.

Homemade oven brick made pizza… absolutely the best! I highly recommend this place. The crust is the best. Never had crust like this before. It’s an Italian family ran business. Good stuff!

Awesome place to eat. Come with a recommendation from an Italian guy. Bought a small mushroom and prosciutto pizza and eat all of it. Coming from Italy this is as good as it gets in authenticity in Katy with it comes to true Italian pizza

I like Rosa’s, it’s about as close to a NY style pizza as you’re going to get in Texas. It’s *not* as good as you can get in the best northern pizzarias, but it’s close and certainly better than you’d get in an average one. Definitely worth eating here.

This is definitely the best pizza in Katy. The cheese pizza is phenomenal, but any pizza we’ve had with toppings has also been great. The staff is always very friendly and make you feel welcome. You can’t go wrong getting your pizza here.

Awesome New York style pizza nestled away in a seedy little strip mall. Okay, its not that bad. The location on the inside is very modern and clean. The pizza was excellent. We loved the crust. This was a last minute lunch decision in an area we weren’t very familiar with and we surely did not regret it. Price was great as well. The only negative was the speed. It wasn’t all that fast, but I guess you cant rush everything.

Best 10 dollar pizza I’ve ever had. Solid great tasting pizza. The crust tasted good which most lack. I went for lunch and there was a special 12 inch cheese pizza for 7 bucks. Extra for toppings. The restaurant was clean as well. I only had the pizza but if thats what ur looking for I definitely recommend this place over most chains.

Best pizza I’ve tried so far in Katy. I passed by Rosa’s frequently and one day decided to finally try it. It’s kind of a hole in the wall type of place on the inside, but the pizza is delicious. They promise NY style pizza and that’s what it is! Very good, I highly recommend Rosa’s.

Good NY style extremely thin crust pizza at a reasonable price. This place reminds me of the solid pizza place on West Gray we used to frequent called Romanos. They toss the dough and cook the pies behind the front counter in front of you. Seems like a nice family owned place. Would like to try their pasta some time. If you are looking for NY style pizza, this is the place.

Was recommended to this place from Unilocal.I’m born and raised in Queens, NY and I’ve been living here going on 5 years now. there are only 4NY style pizzerias here(including Rosa’s) and I gotta say Rosa is definitely at the top of the list. The layout and décor is just like back home and it is very clean. As soon as you walk in it the wonderful smell makes me feel like I’m back home. The pizza was deeeeeeeelicious and the Cannoli, lawd it was so good! I recommend this place to EVERYONE. you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been on the prowl lately to try out a legit New York style pizza place because RRRrgggG I just really craved some gooood authentic NY pizza! So I obviously pull up Unilocal and after being the pickiest little filter I could possibly be, I narrowed it down to Rosa’s… & thank gawd I did. This place is awesome! The location threw me off a bit because I’ve literally never seen it in the 10+ years that I’ve been driving down Mason(ok idk how long it’s actually been here for *shrugs). A hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a corner of a little center with a few shops & stores, I actually walked in with low expectations. When I walked in with my companion, it was kind of awkward because we didn’t get greeted. Which was odd since it was empty. They just kind of stared at us. Ciao? Veggie NY style(4⁄5) — Mmm finally some REAL New York style pizza! Thin & fresh(I saw them make it). There wasn’t too much sauce nor too much cheese, so it was not a messy eat at all. They have a variety of options here! In addition to the New York style, they’ve got Chicago style, assortments of pastas, seafood, calzones, and more. Wings too, I think! Er, don’t quote me. Rosa’s needs to be more well-known. I think I was so desperate for wanting to try deep dish that I completely neglected the beauty of thin crust. Wait time for food after ordering: About 7 minutes
