The food is over priced for what you get. My Bamba BBq wrap was very greasy. Will not go back again.

Love the food and the service. My only drawback to coming more often is the price. We had the coconut shrimp and spinach artichoke dip. Both delicious and brought out promptly. The music was slightly louder than I’m comfortable with, but that is probably all in personal taste. We will be back, but o my when we are splitting meals for a light lunch.

If I had a microwave I could have cooked better food, for the price I was expecting steak house quality not mcdonalds.

I have been here twice in ten years. Both times I knew what I was getting into. We had two ice teas, the spinach and artichoke dip, a barbecue burger and a guacamole burger and then the kiddo had apple juice and Mac n cheese. OK so, service. I started off perturbed because they quoted me a 10 to 15 minute wait and after 20 minutes I had to ask what was going on. Miraculously, my table was ready immediately after I asked. When we were on our safari, the hostess(one of three) kept my four year old daughter enthralled with questions and comments. We walked by tons of empty tables on the way to ours and my daughter mentioned she like butterflies so she was seated beneath one. So, bonus points for the hostess talking up and playing it up to my daughter but no one likes waiting and then walking by empty tables. We are easy customers and quickly knew what we wanted. I will say this up front: We never had to wait too long for anything and the food was delicious. They gave my daughter a coloring book and colors and she never touched them. Service was damned near perfect and our server’s name was Dakota. Kudos dude. The only real complaint I have is it is like the wait at the beginning seems designed to make you spend time and money in the gift shop and the food is overpriced. If they had charged five dollars less, this place would probably be on my weekly places to hit.

We came in for my daughters birthday. Thinking that it’s a Monday, it would be kind of slow and the server wouldn’t be overwhelmed like he/she would be on a weekend, but the service was slow and wasn’t that pleasant. We had all sorts of dishes and they were decent but they had really small portions for the price! Very disappointed. We probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Bring your young kids here and treat it the same as you would an amusement park. It’s fairly cheap fun for them and the environment is actually pretty cool. No, don’t expect good food or bargain prices. Shopping malls aren’t exactly the place to go for fine dining options.

The pot roast was okay: bland in flavor and not as tender. Also, the food was not hot coming out; however, we did arrive at 9PM. The fried onions were really good along with the service and management.

I really wanted this to be a great experience but it was meh at best. My husband and I were quickly seated. Everyone was extremely friendly. On the down side after we were seated we waited almost 15 minutes before someone even came to get our drink order. After our drinks finally got there it took about another 30 minutes just to get our food. I completely understand if it were busy but there was only about 4 tables other than is in the whole restaurant. The food was ok at best, defiantely not worth the $ 74 dollar amount we spend.

Bought 2 drinks for 7.99 each. She tried to bring us the cups afterwards and charge us 30 $. We said we don’t want the CUPS, we just ordered the drinks. She said okay and brought us a new receipt. Later found out that she still charged us 30 $ for the drinks and kept the cups. After we told her AND the menu says 7.99 for drink and 14.99 to buy the drink and keep the cup… Then she tries to argue that we didn’t pay for the cup because it was free when you buy the drink… 7.99 for the drink 14.99 and you keep the cup! It says clear as day on their menu. Not to mention the food was 24 $ for a sandwich I could make right now in my kitchen with zero effort. Rainforest café is a cash grab, bait and swap. Check your receipts people!

This place is super cool for kids! The Cajun pasta is sooooo good and same with the Mai Tai. The only down side was a gnat that my friend had in her drink(picture included). The manager was very professional and he even offered to switch out a drink I didn’t like for another. Overall, super cool experience and good service.

It’s a long wait, but since you are in the mall, you can shop while you wait. Food is okay, but pricey for the quality. Kids enjoy the atmosphere, but probably wouldn’t want to take a date there.

This is my first and last time eating here. I was able to handle the 20 minutes I waited for my food, all the while being barraged with«world» music, flashing lights and canned jungle noises. What I can’t handle is tepid tilapia that tastes like something I found in the freezer aisle. I get it, Rainforest Café is a chain, and all their food is prepared somewhere else, frozen, then heated up for serving. I don’t think that’s an excuse anymore for bland food smothered in sugar goo. How do you screw up coconut shrimp? The service was fine. EDIT: Ok, my update is following my bite of the«coleslaw». There is no flavor whatsoever. I hate this place.

We are Landry select members, so really any chance to gain points, we seize it, but truly the main reason we are ever here is for a lil boy. He loves it, acts like a crazy monkey the whole time. The only thing I really enjoyed this trip was the strawberry mojito I had, very refreshing. Our salads were… meh…the chicken in my Caesar was so thin & rubbery, dressing was ok, way too many croutons-& I love croutons. My husband’s salad was an olive overload & the dressing was bitter. Gavin loved his shrimpkins so that was a winner, but the chicken nuggets were hard & overcooked. Plus each time we go it’s warm so we have to ask them to drop the ac. But, I will say our service was great this go round & the ballon guy was great. Like I said, great for the kids

The ambiance of this place is pretty awesome. The food, unfortunately, was not great. For my son, this was a great experience. The automated characters were neat and the every now and then rain storm was pretty cool as well. I ordered a sandwich which wasn’t awful but it wasn’t what I expected for a Philly cheese steak. The Lava nachos appetizer was a bit underwhelming for the price. Not bad but there are other options near the Katy Mills mall.

My sons favorite restaurant which sways me to be a bit generous with my review… Food is consistent and is comparable to Applebee’s or chilies… The thing that sets this place apart is the animatronic show that is happening all around you while you eat… Great for kids which has caused us to return here more times than I can count… The servers are great and they often times have a balloon artist there to make your little ones inflatable animals(for a tip) with that being said it is a little pricy but worth it if you want to entertain you child…

Kids love this for the novelty, not wanting to support Fertita, we do not go here. Kids meals ok, can’t mess up chicken tenders. Service newly trained and overwhelmed. The food was blah and the sauces for shrimp, way goopy. Not clean enough for us. Too expensive.

Actually, at first thought the menu seemed to be a little high compared to other restaurants offering similar entrees, but if your out with family, especially small kids, it’s not just a good meal, it’s actually a great adventure. My son loved the experience and the food was actually very good, served fresh, good flavor and we left stuffed! The check for my wife, son and I was $ 41 plus a good tip, so actually not bad considering it’s not just a meal but a great family atmosphere and kids under ten will find it a real adventure.

I’ve been to a few Rain Forest Café restaurants in my day. This one, like the others is cute enough. I like the theme and normally I enjoy the good and drinks. Today was no different. We sat at the bar. Ordered a drink. I got a Cuba Libre(Rum & coke) And hubby got a draft beer. My bartender was really cool and she makes a stiff drink. Three sips into this drink and I am woozy ! She gets cool points and a good tip for that !! We ordered appetizers. Mozzarella sticks for me, and blackened fish tacos for the hubby. Thus far everything is good to go. Of course I’ll be returning to the rainforest. It’s good for the spirit… lol

After decades of seeing this jungle themed food emporium of wonder of Tilman Fertitta, I finally bit the bullet and went in. After ten minutes I was ready to leave, chuck cheese is a quieter and much better experience. The food is bad to mediocre. The place has a ridiculously long turn around time to get your food. It’s dark, the decore is as about as cheesy as a show biz pizza. Take your kids once, make sure they understand how much you sacrificed to give them this memory. Never return again,

Monday night and empty restaurant. This means a 45 minute wait of watching a hostess who had nothing better to do than to text her friends and walk out into the mall quite often. I think they wanted you to spend a set amount of time in the over priced gift shop. The food was mediocre and our poor waitress had tables literally spread over the whole restaurant. This equates into having to stand up and walk over to the track her down for any service. She tried hard but trying to serve in this environment leads only to slow drinks, missing plates, and a 10 min wait for ketchup. Bottom line. The management doesn’t care and it shows.
