Wow this place has gone down hill in the last months. I haven’t eaten here in Several months but I ordered a burger and its small. It looks like my sons kids burger. The prices haven’t gone down in price but the size has. They weren’t very large burgers to begin with but this is full price for a child’s burger.

So we ended up here after stopping by Bön Chon being closed for the soft opening. Man was I surprised about this place. The burgers are really good! The burger patties are kinda thin and crispy texture on the outside. They have alot of different flavor combinations, «California Style» which is kinda like an In and Out animal style burger, and all the other classic combos. Their custard ice cream desserts are really good too, especially the Turtle chocolate and caramel flavor. It was so good, I came back the next day to try a different burger.

I came there the other night with my husband we ordered two number sixes and i said no seasoning on one. i got my meal and there was seasoning on the fries. i went back up there and they fixed my friends the girl who took my order came over and appoligized because she thought i only meant on the burger. She came back later to pick up our trash i told her she was doing an amazing job. I went to order my dessert for my husband and i and she said since it was her mistake she would pay for it while i was waiting we were talking about my health problems and she said she would pray for me and hope that i come back once a week. i asked her for her name she said her name was jennifer and i asked for a manager but he was in the bathroom because i wanted to tell him how special she was. Keep up the good work and keep smiling

Get the #1 with everything, add cheese and mayo. Order a small serving of their vanilla custard. Great burger and tasty custard! It’s our favorite burger joint in Katy.

Still check in once in a while at this spot, but Geez I think they add even more grease than they used to. It doesn’t hurt the taste too much, so 3 stars, but wow the heartburn doesnt appreciate it later.

One star only for fresh drinks and nice teenage manager doing his best with the little given.
First and last time here. Absolutely gross and dirty. You can hardly even walk without your feet getting stuck or the complete opposite, slipping everywhere. High chairs were mustard splattered. Mold on corners, seat belts of death– broken, dirty booths, empty seasoning shakers, condiment counter was off the wall nasty. There was brown goo in the lemon wedge container. Lettuce inside drink top holders, napkins just sitting atop wet counter. Seriously just look at the photos. I NEVER post negative reviews but it’s just THAT bad. Hopefully someone will correct it.

Their burgers with trimmings (fresh) always taste great, no complaints! New favorite is the Patty Melt with Swiss on Rye bread. My husband likes it also. Topped off with a shake and you are good to go! The concretes are also very tasty. Employees are always friendly and polite. By the way, They have shoestring fries, so if you don’t care for them, don’t complain. They are crispy and hot when served.

Had just finished getting an MRI and thought I deserved all the onion rings in West Houston, this was a gem that I will come back to. Was it crowded with kids from outdoor activities you bet, the sweetest 8 year old opened the door for us, way to go mom and dad.
I normally eat no meat but had a great hamburger just the way I love it, crunchy onion rings not dripping in grease and of course chased it with the oreo ice cream sandwich, no competition could I think of, not fast food, not a Beck’s, great service, GM even came to our table to see if we were happy, of course we were.

Ok I usually don’t write reviews… But… when my husband who is a retail district manager brings up a health issue such as a colony of mold spores growing all over both ice dispensers of the soda machine… And the manager does nothing about it but mocks my husband… that’s when I pull out my phone! This place is very dirty, I could not find a clean table at all, and had to clean my own table. Although the food is good, I will not be eating here again. I will be going out of my way to enjoy another Freddy’s!

I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in. But what I found was a very good burger with a quality beef patty and fresh toppings. I got the original double. They have lots of condiments and toppings to choose from. You customize your burger.
The fries were great as well.
Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying the custard. It’s pretty good, given that it wasn’t homemade on the back porch!

The 3-​out-​of-​5 rating is labeled «A-​OK»… and that’s what the Freddy’s burger was… it was okay. I typically preferred thicker, juicier burgers, and this was very thin (but, granted, there were two of them) and not bad. The combination of everything else on the burger made it acceptable to me, but I’m not sure I’m a fan (something that a ‘4’ rating seems to require). The fries were very, very thin and, when hot, they were delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn’t shove them in my mouth fast enough to eat them all while they were still hot. My wife did not approve of my shoveling technique.
Their posters in the restaurant display a variety of yogurt (custard?) shakes, and one of them caught my eye, and despite the disapproving look I imagined I got from my wife, I got the brownie «shake»… It turned out to be awesome. I’d have preferred real ice cream, but it was creamy and chocolaty, so no complaints!

The only thing they’ve got going on for them is their Oreo ice cream sandwiches. I wanted to get something with a drive-​thru since I had a sleepy child in the car after departing the mall. Freddy’s was in the vicinity, and I can’t say I’ve ever had their food. Their original meal which is like a double patty burger is about $ 7. It’s pretty pricey for what you get. I was a little turned off when I asked for just a kid’s cheeseburger. They only offered it as a kid’s meal. So ended up spending about $ 17 on some crappy thin, burnt burgers with cold stale fries. It was such a waste of money. Would have just been happy with McDonald’s or BK for less.

Shoestring fries! Finally found a place in Houston that serves proper shoestring fries. Those are my favorite style of french fries. I love the hamburger meat here as it taste/​texture seems a little different than most fast food chain restaurants. Like what another reviewer said, this is probably the closest thing to In-​N-​Out. The fudge brownie sundae /​custard was great too especially on a hot day like today.

I love the frozen custard here. We’ve tried a lot of the different flavors and they rarely dissappoint. However, I would recommend getting one of the smaller portion sizes as these treats are very rich and sweet.
The burgers are good as well. The patties are thin and slightly crispy, which sounds weird for a burger patty but tastes great! My husband feels that they are a bit on the oily side so he does not prefer these burgers compared to other steakburgers in the Katy area.
I love the super thin and super crispy fries here. You get a TON so you have plenty to share and to take home. You can always dip them into your ice cream for dessert and have some sweet and salty snacks. Yum! (My husband thinks this is super gross, but it’s so not!)

Went here for the first time yesterday and look forward to trying it again soon. Only tried the brownie sundae yesterday but was super impressed. The burgers and fries smelled good but I was there for dessert only… this time. Definitely have it on my list for a lunch or dinner out soon!

This is the closest I’ve found to a good In and Out alternative when in Texas.
Thin, real thin (get a double) patties, crispy and juicy.
Well layered and quite flavorful.
They had a nice selection of topping choices, including relish which is rare, and I was stoked to see that.
The fries are shoestring, and do need a bit of the optional bottles of fry seasoning added after the fact. They were served quite fresh and hot, but a little too greasy. I prefer my fries to get to drain a tad more before diving in, but after waiting for the grease to run off and after adding some extra seasoning they were great.
The sweet tea is wonderful.
They serve custard shakes too with mixed in toppings, and I had the tropical one with pineapple, macadamia, and coconut. The custard was great, a few too many nuts for my preference but all the flavors worked well together and I am glad I tried one. Next time I’ll go for something more simple to enjoy the custard more.
Friendly and prompt service too.
I’ll be back for sure!

Freddy’s is awesome! Fast food burgers and frozen custard. Burgers are freshly made to order. Patties are thin but flavorful. Get a double for just the right amount of meat. Their fries are thin and crisp. Add some of their addicting seasoned salt to your burger and fries. You can even buy their famous seasoning to take home for $ 3.99.
Finish your meal with one of their concretes, which is their frozen custard blended with toppings. Pretty much a Dairy Queen blizzard but better!
Wish there were more Freddy’s franchises around. Good food, service, kid friendly, clean. Not much more you can ask for from a fast food restaurant.

Probably the best 20 $ I have ever spent! This place is so unassuming but it actually takes first place for my favorite fast food joint!
The DBL Bacon Cheeseburger add fry sauce is the best damn burger I will get at any fast food restaurant ! The crispness of the steak patty is the real MVP ! Freddy’s is like MCD, BK, and In&Out rolled all into one and perfected. & to top that, they have shoe string fries!
Chili Cheese Hotdog was good too! The bun was toasted. So fluffy & buttery. I would say it’s a fancy gas station hotdog. Yummmm
