Cozy little restaurant with Italian and Venezuelan food. We had the Tequnos and fried Yuca for appetizer and eggplant Parmesan and Genochi for dinner. Both appetizers were awesome, eggplant was undercooked and the sauce in the Genochi was too heavy. But I would like to go back and try their Pizza.

Amazing place! We ordered a Risotto Nero, Veal Parmigiana y and a cheese pizza. To say that everything was delicious is an understatement. The risotto was made to perfection and the seafood in it was very fresh. The veal, was tender and the marinara sauce was just amazing. I accompanied mine with spaghetti and bolognaise sauce which were cooked al dente and very tasty! Lastly, the pizza was crispy and the mozzarella had an amazing taste! Don’t forget to ask for Genesis as a waitress, if she’s in, she will give you Royalty treatment! We even had Carlos the owner talking to us and offering custom made meals! Totally recommended!

This is a very good neighborhood restaurant and surprisingly nice inside. I wanted to try someplace I had not been to before. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall so there is not much to look at from the outside. My family took me there for my birthday. We went with friends so there were 8 of us. Everyone got something different and everyone really liked their meal. I will go back.

First time there even though we live so close, because it didn’t look much from the outside. But once we got in, we were immediately impressed. The décor is nice and ambience great. The staff is friendly. And the food is delicious. We went as a party of 8, and everything we ordered was great, except for the grilled chicken on the Cesar salad, which was pretty dry.

Really good Italian. Nice workers too! They are always very pleasant! We probably take out pizza more than we dine in though. Just darn good pizza!

My family and I came here to celebrate my brother-in-laws birthday and we had a great experience. Our waiter, Jorge, was excellent. We had the tequeños and yucca for appetizers– both were great. I ordered the chicken parmigiana with pasta and the portion was huge! My husband and I shared the Cougar Pizza, and it was delicious as well. The restaurant is small and intimate and the musicians playing on Saturday night added a nice ambience to the room. We will be back!

This place was AMAZING& such a great find! We were trying out a new church nearby & craving pizza afterwards. The service was GREAT& we got the Tequeños for an appetizer which was sort of like fried cheese but in a bread. It was sooo yummy! We got the The Natali pizza & it was soo tasty! One of the best pizzas I have had. I cannot wait to come back & try all of the other options! 5 stars for sure!

Party of 6 — three adults only. Food was great, however it took a long time to get it, given it was early and we were one of three parties at the restaurant. Service was great… they were very attentive, but the tip was 20% inclusive, which I thought they should have mentioned at the beginning. I had a Mahi– Mahi with mango sauce.(Chef special) It was delicious, but at $ 30 bucks… a bit overpriced… should have been at most $ 23. Overall, we would go again and try some different items.

The food was delicious and presentation outstanding! I had grilled chicken with lemon sauce and mushrooms which were very tasty! A little sour because of the lemon sauce, but the mushrooms were the perfect touch! It came with pasta with tomato sauce on the side, but you an choose to get the vegetables instead. The wine list is a bit short but the wines were fairly priced. The atmosphere of the restaurant is although elegant, fairly casual! Everyone is really friendly and the staff wants to make sure you have a great experience! I would definitely come back!

Went today for the second time. Fairly empty around 6p. The food is tasty, but I could not help but notice that the gentleman behind the bar kept snorting, sneezing, etc. he sneezed without covering his mouth on more than occasion. I just can’t take it. In a restaurant if that sort of conduct is tolerated its top of the iceberg in my book. I like the food. I like the server. The phlegm concerto was less than desirable.

DELICIOUS. FRIENDLYSTAFF. LARGEMENU. GOODVALUE. This is a small, family owned, local Italian place that serves excellent Italian food(including pizza) with some great little Venezuelan items also mixed in! We tried the Tequeños(Venezuelan fried cheese) and everyone loved them! Our party ordered everything from Chicken Parm, Meat Lasagna, and Chicken Marsala, to Seafood Lasagna and Seafood Kebabs with Risotto! We had a couple of native New Yorkers, a couple of Southerners, a Mid Westerner, and a Brazilian in our mix… And every single dish got an A+!! The bread and olive oil dip was delicious, and the Tres Leches dessert was amazing! We got the opportunity to meet the owner, Tybi(Tybaire Gomez) and later her husband, the chef, and we found them genuine and passionate about their business. We found out that they are Venezuelan, but lived in CT for many years where he was trained in Italian cuisine and ran their own successful restaurant there too! If you have EVER eaten Italian food in the Northeast… You know it is beyond compare! Amazing and delicious and decadent… I don’t know what they do different up there, but I am SO happy that the Gomez’s brought it to Katy, TX! We also had an excellent waiter who was attentive and knowledgeable about all the menu items. He was ready with recommendations and explanations for all of our questions! I am always surprised when people try a new restaurant one time and give such a harsh review… This is not a chain restaurant that has all the infrastructure and support of an established company to assist with opening a new location. This is a family business, bringing a quality establishment right into our neighborhood, and they are honest, hard working, and very skilled! I believe in giving honest feedback and asking for what you need… So let the management know if something is wrong! They will always try to accommodate and appease you… I know Tybi would be more than happy to! CELIACS: I was happy to learn from Tybi that they have a GLUTENFREE crust and pasta available! She just doesn’t have it on the menu yet… But when I mentioned my daughter’s Celiac, she told me about it. We haven’t tried it yet, so I can’t review it… But I’m excited to be able to take my whole family back soon!

All the right flavors and you can still get in the door on a Saturday night. My family went last night at prime time(with reservations) but did not need them. We’ve had carry out and loved it, but there was nothing like dining in. We started with the Carpaccio Trio-not their best work, but not bad either. Our main courses were the Pappardelle Del Mare which was incredible. I plan on going back just for this phenomenal dish… the sauce on the Pappardelle Del Mare was out of this world. My wife and son had the mushroom and filet mignonette risotto, which was very good and falls into the«I’d order it again» category. I’m not a fan of risotto but it was pretty good. Lastly, our take out from here a week prior consisted of the Spartan and Margarita pizza. Both pizzas were delicious and we consider ourselves pretty picky when it comes to pizza,(Brothers and Grimaldi’s are good and that’s about it). I believe the owners /mgmt are listening to the reviews since our service was somewhat over the top making sure we were okay. The servers seem slightly unsure of themselves which I’m okay with as long as the guy in the kitchen knows what he’s doing and he clearly does. Prices are not bad either considering the quality of the food. We split the appetizer, three main courses, one soup and one salad, three deserts, two coffees and a bottle of wine for $ 150.00. They’ve been open for 5 months. It won’t be long before word of mouth spreads and reservations will be required.

We made reservations for Valentine’s Day 3 weeks prior for 7:00 we showed up early at 6:35 and they said their last reservation was at 6:00 and that they could not serve us! Totally rude, unprofessional, and they obviously do not believe in customer service. For all of those I have asked to try this place, I now ask you please do not, there food is not that good and they so do not deserve our business.

What happens when Venezuelan meets Italian? Some really good food happens! It isn’t your traditional Italian, but it is very good. Taquenos always make a great appetizer here. Venezuelan white cheese rolled in dough. Very light tasting and much better than fried Moz. The dipping marinara is testy, but the real hit is the pepperoncini aioli sauce. The minestrone soup is delicious. Full of flavor. The bowl is a very generous serving size. I have tried many of the Italian items on the menu, but tonight I decided to venture off and I ordered the filet mignon. An 8 ounce portion that was cook as ordered. Tender and juicy. Served with fried yuca. Although it was good, the pork osso buco is still my favorite dish here. Still nice to know you can get a nicely prepared filet for under $ 30. Service was spot on. Friendly and quick. Parking in this area sucks. Be prepared to drive around the parking lot a couple of times.

Ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza today. it was pretty tasty. one of the better pizzas I have had in Katy. they told me 35 – 40 minutes over the phone(I ordered it to go) so I figured they were busy. I showed up after about 25 minutes and the place only had about 3 tables that had people dining. my pizza was ready. I am glad I didn’t wait the 35 – 40 minutes they said. there was not an even amount of sauce on the pizza, but overall it was good. I will try other menu items in the future

Food was OK. Not bad, not great just simply Ok. Service was a slow as they could make it to be. Waitress was rude as hell… Will I be going again? You bet I wont. PS: I just told a friend from work about my horrible experience at this place and she told me she went a month and a half ago with a similar outcome. I would have given them a second chance but having my friend told me about her 1 hr waiting to get the appetizers tells me that this place is simply not worth my time and money for that matter… And remember Carrabbas is just right there!!!

Had a nice dinner here with a good friend. Waiter was really attentive, food was excellent, and atmosphere was nice! Bathroom was clean also! Nice little Italian spot for Cinco Friggin Ranch. Oh yea– my water was continuously re-filled! Wished they had a live band tonight– but still had a good time.

Fantastic dinner, service, and atmosphere!(I rarely give 5 stars.). The waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. We tried Tequenos with the waiter’s recommendation, and they were AMAZING! My family also had the children’s spaghetti and meatballs, Gnocchi Alla Baba and Eggplant Parmigiana. All of them were wonderful. The presentation was creative and added a nice touch. The fresh rosemary and flower on each plate was noticed and appreciated. The atmosphere was perfect for an intimate family dinner. Live music added to the environment. The flute, acoustic guitar, and acoustic bass trio were a pleasant surprise. It made for a wonderful evening. A definite return visit is in our future.

We were told about Pane E Vino by a work colleague of mine that knew the chef from his old restaurant. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant we have tried in the Fulshear/Katy area. Food. We started with the Tequenos. They were absolutely fantastic! I asked the waiter why anyone in their right mind would try mozzarella sticks when they are on the menu. Just great. For main course I had the Salmon in puff pastry. It was absolutely fabulous. Fresh, hot and the pastry was just wonderful. My wife had the Penne alla Vodka with Chicken and she loved it too. The presentation of both dishes was fantastic too. Service. We didn’t catch our waiters name but he was friendly and very attentive. He had a smile on his face too which always helps! We remarked how friendly everyone was in the restaurant and how many people coming in seemed to know each other and the staff. It really was a great atmosphere. My wife called it an ‘instant favorite’. We can’t wait to go back. In fact, we might head there again tonight!
