The ice cream is consistently the same. The waffle cones and cups sometimes taste stale while other times taste fresh. Service is nothing remarkable but adequate and par for an establishment only requiring the employee being 16 years or older. The décor is adequate borderline dated. The lower star review is based upon the overwhelming smell of cleaner /cleaning supplies is off putting. Also makes the delicious thoughts of ice cream turn into thoughts of Pine Sol Ice Cream with a Fabuloso mix in. Go ahead, smell the to go cups 10 – 15 minutes after leaving the store. The to go containers smell like cleaning products!

Went there today, asked for 4 different ice creams. None were in stock… no vanilla, chocolate, red velvet or birthday cake. what kind of ice cream shop does not stock ice cream basics? We have to wonder if they were simply too lazy to pull it out of the freezer… we will not go back to this location… horrible service.

Showed up at 10:55 when their sign says they close at 11. They had already shut down the register and their chilled slab where they mix the ice cream. There were still two guys there but they had decided to shut up shop early. Poor customer service!

I wish I had read the reviews. Let me just say this place is sooooo overrated! I got 3 ice cream cones for 18 bucks. Yes, you heard(or should I say read?) right. The waffle cones were stale. The customer service depressing(could the guy look more miserable). I will never go back.

Wished I had looked at the current rating of this place before we came here. They have a handwritten sign on the door with numerous misspellings about all the coupons and deals they do NOT accept. We had bought a Groupon which was promptly declined. The employee was very curt, bordering on rude, barely spoke. Ice cream is good but is practically melted already when you receive it. Very rich, and very expensive. A smaller portion and less expensive price tag would be much better, and would not make you feel sick afterward. Will never come back here, and will stick to Ritters Frozen Custard when hit with ice cream craving.

Was taking the kids for a treat turned out to be a huge mistake! It’s(by there gage on the wall 92 degrees. My daughters ice cream turn to soup before she could get two bites. My son just drank his… gross! I paid $ 11 for two scoops of ice cream I would have thrown out!!! When I asked for a manager, got the run around! Stay away!!! Drive down the road to the Cinco location or the mall, this place is a nasty waist of money!!!

This place is like a freaking time capsule. I swear on my entire suburban childhood that not a table nor chair nor artwork has moved an inch since I was last here over 10 years ago. It has the same pastel, early 1990s color scheme with the pink and the sort-of-mint tile. The faded photographs of kids eating have becoming slightly more faded. Yet, the ice cream remains delicious. The service remains surly at best. It was nice to be back for the nostalgia alone. It’s expensive even with the unlimited free toppings. Expect very good ice cream served by sullen teenage scoopers and you won’t be disappointed.

The servers had a bad attitude and our ice cream came out so runny it wouldn’t even stay in the cone. When we asked for a new scoop they gave us a cup to put our cones in upside down. I won’t be going back.

I remember going to this location as a kid. The girl working behind the counter didnt say more than 5 words to me. And looked beyond annoyed when I inquiered about a military discount. Good selection of ice cream, toppings and cones.

Went here with my family to get some after dinner ice cream for the Tuesday special(Buy a small or medium cone, get one for .30 cents) we already did this last week, but come to find out all of a sudden the franchise owner of this one changed the company deal to one per family instead of the one per customer it had been all month. Smh then the staff was just rude and very unwilling to help.

Yesterday my family and I took the coupon for the company’s 30th Anniversary.(.30 cent for a 3 oz. scoop) to the store. What we got was 1 oz of ice cream and by the time it was mixed it was more mix than ice cream. I was very disappointed

By Katy standards, Marble Slab Creamery is expensive but I don’t care. It’s delicious cold ice cream that gets molded on a giant marble slab with all your favorite toppings! Granted I never get toppings because I’ m an ice cream purist but if I did, a marble slab would be the way to do it.

Kinda Expensive and their strawberry ice cream isn’t so hot. sad sad sad but their toppings are super fresh and their choice of nuts almost makes up for it.
