BreWingZ Sports Bar & Grill

Absolutely awful. Bad service took 10 minutes to take order then the waitress was on her cell phone for 20 minutes while we were waiting to order. She brought us a beer and it was flat. Will not go back.

You know how servers get blamed for everything because of the shit others like management and back does? Well tonight, I went out for dinner with two friends and her baby. When I came in, I was greet by the ONLY server there. In a restaurant that size, there was one server, one trainee, one bartender, and one manager in the front. Now the one server was running around to EVERY table, and training the new guy too. So I didn’t mind that my water took so long. What I’m REALLY ticked off about is the manager. She was somewhere, and NOT HELPING. WHY? At some point the phone were off the hook, and she didn’t even come out to answer it. She couldn’t even help sit customers. When the main server took a break by simply sitting down, the manager made him stand up again. MANAGEMENT IS THE REASON WHY THIS RESTAURANT IS TERRIBLE!

I am a fan of the food, but the staff here is always arguing with one another.

Horrible place to watch a game, my friends and I were scare to cheer for the Texans and risking getting kicked out. Very dead and boring place, service was really slow even with it being empty during a Texans game, food was okay. Will not be back to that Brewingz…

If I could give this zero stars… I would. The point of calling an order in is supposed to make your order fast. Well… not here. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Absolutely awful Service. We waited an hour for our food and were literally the ONLY table in the place. Once we got our food, it was cold and gross. Not only were all of the tables dirty and not bussed, but out of 6 staff (I counted) only one woman (our waitress) was actually doing anything.
We will not return! Horrible service. We got here at 2:30 and are now finally getting our check at 4:45.

This is the second time I have been to Brewings. The first time I wasn’t impressed, but this time was pretty good. Service was nice and the wings were pretty tasty. I would suggest this to anyone if you want a good atmosphere and some great sports bar food.

This place was terrible. We came during the Rangers & Astros game and were the only people in the entire restaurant. That should have been our clue. The service was terrible. It took us almost 15 minutes to get our drinks even though we were 5 Feet from the bar. We also ordered potato skins which we burned. Don’t go here.

The wings are so darn small you would think they were chicken nuggets. Come on Brewingz you guys are better than this.

On my visit this past Saturday (5÷30÷15), the a/​c was not working. I don’t know if someone was trying to fix it, but it didn’t happen while I was there. I ate at the bar, and the two female workers spent a lot of the time complaining about management and the a/​c. The food was very average, but the atmosphere was horrible. Were I the manager, I would have been doing whatever possible to make it better, but I never saw him while I was there. If I were the corporate headquarters, I would revoke their franchise.

This place needs to close its doors and spend the week cleaning, it’s very dirty. The chicken wings were over cooked and tested like fish and the beer was warm. There was plenty ps seating and not I know why. Lots of TVs could be a nice place to watch a sporting event with Some changes.

Horrible wings. They were over cooked and no sauce although we asked for extra wet. Not worth your $. We also ordered boneless wings. They were soaked in grease which made them soggy. The grease took over the sauce flavor. We will not be eating here again.

Only giving this a two stars because the potato skins were good but the wings were nasty! They were way too crispy. I’ll only go back to get the potato skins. The water tastes like ass!

This place is not good at all. Everything is cold and no flavor at all. This is my first and last time at this place. We placed an order to go and my 1 yr old wouldn’t even eat it. Ill stick to wingstop.

Went here for Chicken wings yesterday (Saturday 9/27/2014…just in case the Mgr or owners read this review). Ordered the wings with half Mango sauce and half Cajun sauce. The Cajun sauce tasted like spiced up hot wings sauce.
The wings were so dry, it felt refried. The bones were crumbling due to the dryness. I mentioned it to the waiter, he had the audacity to reply that, and I quote. {sorry it happens like that). I told him to tell the manager in case the kitchen is refrying wings to serve. The Manager came by to ask me about my drink, I told him my concern with the wings. He said, and I quote…“I will inform the kitchen”…
Well I would like to inform the establishment that I will not be back if they were the only place left open.

I was one of the few loyal customers to this location. After several mixups and mistakes on my to-​go orders i decided to take a little time and write a email. It was a very polite email explaning the problems and asking for some reslove.
(Update) after seeing my review on Unilocal the manager did contact me and has made a effort to correct the issues. The food here is worth another try.

Went to Brewingz, on Mason, for their 2 for Tuesday special. I do have to say that I was sorely disappointed.
When Brewingz first opened I went with a Groupon and was sure that I would be back, regularly! Their wings were always big and served hot! I don’t know what happened between then and this visit. This time, the wings were tiny, and had the texture of beef jerky.
The experience:
We arrived and we’re seated promptly. We were greeted by our server, Alex. She took our drink order and offered and appetizer. We ordered the curly cheese fries, which were awesome as always. She returned and we ordered wings with 4 different flavors, Garlic, Lemon Pepper, Extra Hot and Mango Habanero. Our wings arrived and just by looking at them we knew that they were lukewarm, at best. They were. Actually, my Mango Habanero were downright cold. Complained to Alex and she promptly took them back to remake them.
Speaking of the Mango Habanero sauce, I’ve had it on many occasions and either they changed the recipe or they ran out and tried to throw together some sweet tangy concoction so they wouldn’t have to tell me they were out. I’ve had that sauce on many occasion and this time was awful!
When I left I knew I wouldn’t be back.
Stadia has WAY better wings and it’s not even a wing place.
On a side note: The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars because our server, Alex, was fantastic! She is prompt, made sure our drinks were full and constantly checking in with us without being intrusive. Awesome job, Alex!

Mommy daughter date night… it was ok. Food is what you’d expect. Hard to mess up bar food. We shared an order of 10 boneless wings (5 orange ginger and 5 garlic parm), a side of Mac n cheese,
and a side of cinnamon apples. All was good. Our server looked 16, terrified, and fresh on the job market. He kept forgetting things and didn’t speak very clearly. But I chalk that up to puberty.

I am only giving them a star because 0 stars is not an option.
Upon entering BreWings the place was empty and extremely quiet for a sports bar and grill. The only plus is that we came on national beer day and they had specials for the NCAA Championship game. Unfortunately, we couldn’t hear the game. We asked our waitress Jennifer 3 times to turn up the volume-​which she did, but a few minutes later it went down again. We finally asked to speak to a manager (Tony) who told us HE turned down the volume (but at no point had he addressed us to inform us of this). When I asked him about the volume he explained to me that the restaurants’ set up meant that the regular seating area was louder than the bar area and he had to turn down the volume because it was too loud in the regular seating area. The problem with this is that THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE REGULAR SEATING AREA. We were 1 of 3 other groups who were all watching the game. Tony, the manager was extremely rude and sarcastic when I asked about the volume at the bar he scolded me for reminding him that we were the only ones here and we were all interested in the game. He did not accommodate his guests, nor did he display professionalism in this matter. I can see why many Unilocalers are unpleased.
We will not be back… ever!

Brewingz used to be a Wings n More, and Brewingz has kept the same standards of good food and good service. We came to Brewingz with a Groupon.
I had the mango habenero wings… great sauce and not a heavy amount of breading on the wings. I am not usually a huge fan of fries, but I could not stop eating them… something good in the salt/​spice gave the fries a great taste.
We also had fried pickles as an appetizer… the batter blended well with the tartness of the pickles. Not everyone can do fried pickles well, but Brewingz does.
I was impressed with the variety of the menu. My daughter had a Monte Cristo sandwich, which was cooked just right… almost as good as the original Monte Cristos from Bennigans.
No problems with the service… we didn’t have to wait too long and the waitress told us a little history on the changeover from Wings n More. Apparently, management has improved quite a bit recently. Brewingz has a very casual and relaxing atmosphere.
Lots of TVs showing live sports… I may need to come back again to have a beer or two.
