I thought I would have same taste of sandwich from where I ate at different Jason’s Deli. We ate Ruben Sandwich for lunch today (March 6), taste nothing like it. It had no taste period. And, the sandwich makers were screaming and talking so loudly, I thought first there was a problem where I had to evacuate or something. Not sure if the Manager was on duty, but that kitchen and cashier workers need to keep the volume down.

Every time I go here the service is excellent and the food is delicious. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience here. The food is prepared within an appropriate amount of time and the dining area is always very clean.

I wasted $ 5 on a small bowl of French onion soup. It was awful. The broth was very bland and the cheese tasted like a fake cheese product.
My fiancé however enjoyed his baked potato.
I wouldn’t come here again.

I came in for lunch and ordered the Manager’s Special: broccoli cheese soup and the California club with a side of fruit. The manager rang my order in wrong, and I was brought the sandwich and fruit with chips. The server was nice and changed my order out to get the soup, but as I was eating my fruit I discovered a SPIDER. A living spider crawling around on my fruit. I sent my fruit back and the server offered to get me new fruit but I said no and that I didn’t want any. My last saving grace was the ice cream. But the vanilla ice cream was out of order, so I got chocolate. The chocolate ice cream was sour. Hope it wasn’t expired.
Very disappointed with this place today.

It only gets one star because I can’t give it a zero! The service was horrendous. To say it was slow would be an enormous overstatement. To wait 15 minutes in a nearly vacant restaurant… for a bowl of soup… left me with only one positive thought. Thank God I didn’t order a sandwich!!!

It is just a Jason’s Deli. But this visit was exceptionally poor. We left. Get it together, damn! One person taking orders. Overall not too clean despite upgrades. But to take over 15 minutes to order at the counter. Ridiculous. I have thrown in the towel. Manager scurrying around, cooks shaking their heads and irritated. A few years ago Katy had nothing to choose from. There is a lot now. I will take my 30 bucks elsewhere.

Food — mostly good. Salad bar good.
Order taker — good
Expediter — brought out the wrong food initially.
Only food complaint — many grapes in the nutty salad were over ripe.
Ambience– like most Jason’s Delis but restrooms not very clean. 20 yr old said her CA club turkey didn’t taste good but she’s very picky & might have just been in a bad mood.
Think they might have been understaffed today.

Jason’s is hit or miss. It’s never bad, but some are better than others.
This one was okay. Service was a bit slow and the booths and décor were a bit old and messy.
The sandwiches are good and the soup was good too. Though the soup reminded me of Quizno’s soup which was weird. It was good.
The salad bar was clean, but they were out of almost all their teas at the same time. Bummer.
Cool place still and as long as you’re not coming here on a lunch rush you’ll probably be fine.

Always clean, always fast! Food is fresh and delicious. The staff are courteous and polite. I get the turkey wrap and it is always perfect and hits the spot when I want something healthier than fast food. My business has also catered from here. The frozen yogurt at the end always leaves me smiling.

Finger on the Scale. I ordered a pound of the turkey meat, they do offer there meats by the pound although not advertised on the menu. I was given the meat in a small soup container… I walked out thinking it seemed light for a pound.
I took a 16oz can at home and compared to the weight of the turkey felt very light in comparison.
Called manager went back and he took meat into the back room and said that yes it was light on the weight and he would add more turkey meat.
.By this point with all the hassle and the outrage that they are NOT weighing the meats they sell by the pound I demanded a refund.
How many other customers have they sold short too?

JD is dependably good no matter which location. It is a good alternative to typical fast food. My mom and I stopped by for dinner before going to a movie tonight. She got a pastrami sans sauerkraut. I got the manager’s special: chicken chili (meh) and my trusty turkey sandwich. I like my sandwiches simple, and I love their turkey sandwich. The manager’s special is a lot of food. ½ a sandwich, a cup of soups, and a big pile of chips.
This is a nice JD, too. It wasn’t too crowded, which was nice,

It wasn’t dirty or littered with used plates when I went there yesterday. I ordered the Smokey Jack Panini and a cup of the Chicken Pot Pie soup. Both were amazing. Wait staff was polite, attentive and friendly. I’ll be back for more of that soup.

Ive been going to J. Del in rice village since college. Since then, Ive always been getting the managers special with the turkey wrap (yumm!) and whatever soup im in the mood for or havent tried. Always delcious and I feel healthy: D Best part is the free ice cream!
My school had catered here before. sometimes we get the box lunch with a sanchwich chips and dessert. other times weve gotten pasta and that is some good pasta. so filling itll put you to sleep!
The katy location can be busy at time, but the service doesnt lack. The food comes out promptly and everyone is nice there. I think they may be my first good katy chain restaurant experince. wow!
