Well, Hungry Howie’s Pizza has always been me and my hubby’s go-​to pizza when ordering in on Friday nights.
We love the FREE flavorful crust options offered, convenience of ordering online and usually order their meatlovers pizza and steak and cheese calzones.
Recently we’ve been ordering their meatlovers pizza (deep dish style)…OMG! soooooo gooood!
It’s always delived HOT and FRESH.
I’m giving this location 5 stars, not only because we like their pizza, but also because the owner rectified a situation we had with them recently.
We placed a pizza order online and the driver could not find our house. Therefore, we never received our order.
The next day the owner called to apologize and offered our next pizza order free of charge.
We were very happy that he took the time to care about keeping our business.

OMG, can we say yes, yes, yes to this pizza! My family has been silent since we started eating on this pizza. I am eating a gluten free, pineapple, green olive and jalapeños with butter cheese sauce. Wow! Like for real that is all I can say. I had the liberty of meeting one of the owners and he is a very sweet gentleman. He is very personable and charismatic. We will be frequenting this joint a lot more than this once.

If this were my first time ordering from this place I would have probably given it one star. I ordered online for the first time and they got it wrong. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my order so I didn’t realize it was wrong until I got home. I ordered the Bbq chicken wings. They have a little kick but they were just ok. The second item I ordered was a chef salad which is what I always order. They make great chef salads. However, this chef salad was NOT good at all. There was no meat or cheese on it (glad I ordered the chicken wings). I’m not sure how they forgot the cheese and meat. The lettuce was not fresh either. Very disappointing! I’m sure I’ll continue to go back but today was just a miss for me today.

This is the only pizza restaurant that I have been to in Houston that have a great variety of options and they always have huge wings! They never let me down. Best pizza place in town!

Update: February 12, 2016. Finally got our coupon as promised to redeem a free pizza. The taste of this pizza (large two topping) was a lot better than the deep dish style. I did notice that on the regular pizzas they do not have a paper sheet underneath pizza pie like the deep dish does. Overall I was satisfied with the flavor and only thing I had to drive to pick up pie. As coupon stated only for pickup services. I want to thank Bryan for delivering on his promise to make things right for the customers. I give them five stars. They really do care for our opinions and they went above and beyond in making things right for my situation. once again thank you Hungry Howies Inc.

First time to try this place. We really enjoyed the food, very tasty, good crust, the antipasto was excellent. For our taste, we should have ordered extra sauce. The sauce is very good, but it needs more. On the down side, service needs to be examined. We tried to order online, in order to get the special deal, but had problems, so I called them. They did get the order correct, with the special, but they neglected to tell me until I stopped by to pick up the order, that their credit card reader was down. I happened to have the cash, but if I hadn’t, I would have had to leave without my food. The cashier made a real blunder: she pulled out a notepad to write down my card number so it could be run later. I don’t think so! Management needs to tighten things up. We will go back, but I hope they get their business practices cleaned up.

Have tried this location several times calling in an order, and this time just walked in and ordered. Greeted warmly and very impressed with cleanliness. Order was fast and correct and cooked fresh and timely. Calzone, wings, pizza, Greek salad, and cinnamon bread were all fantastic. I will buy from them again, soon when I’m craving pizza !!!

I’ve stopped in a few times and every time I ask why I don’t stop in more often. Tonight was no exception. Walk in, instantly receive a warm welcome from Roscoe. I ask about the customer appreciation special and can’t pass up a medium pepperoni pizza for $ 3.99. A few minutes later I’m walking out a happy man. Pizza is fresh and tastes great. Staff is great. This place is AWESOME!!! GREAT customer service and the food is AMAZING!!! Great prices for awesome pizza. Plenty of toppings, they deliver and they have great specials. So many good things I could say about this place but you just need to try it for yourself. GO NOW!!! ORDER YOURSELF A DELICIOUS PIZZA, or a wonderful HOWIE ROLL, or 3 cheese bread, or pizza. That’s what I’m eatin! YUM!

I would say this is a very decent Pizza and good for the price. I liked the crust sauce and chesse although I always prefer extra sauce on my pie. They seem to get their orders correct.
I recommend this if you are just trying to get something quick and good.

Howies crust flavors and options make this place worth a try. It is as good if not better then the big chain pizza places out there and they usually have better coupons including a free pizza once in while.
They have become our pizza place for movie night.

I loved the customer service and I love how informative she was.
I ordered the smallest pizza to try it out. How amazing it was to see different sizes.
I can’t say that I’ll be back though, because it was like a Little Ceaser’s Pizza cheaply made but hiked up price.
Not very many good deals. Lots of options which is good, but every other pizza place is doing the same thing.

I gotta say… love it. I am from Michigan and was very excited to see a Hungry Howies in Houston. Love the pizza, and the gotta have the butter cheese crust. Howie rolls are awesome and staff is friendly. If you haven’t tried it yet… you are missing out!

Incredible! Never ordering Dominos or Pizza Hut ever again. I love how they never skimp on toppings. Absolutely delicious!
