Looking for long johns, or filled donuts. None to be had. Moved on. Interestingly the only photos featured on Unilocal are those posted by Vu. How does censorship and suppression of public input help Unilocal,or any of us consumers? Update: Vu has personally assured me that he now has Bavarian filled cream bars all the time and has challenged me to give his shop another chance. I will since the Shipley’s in our neighborhood changed the way they make their long johns(skinnier and fried longer).

The service is not fantastic but not bad. Very rushed. I order some glazed donuts and they had a very very weird taste. Like a gas/propane taste. The cake donuts were fine. It was very weird but can’t say I will go back. That was a very bad taste.

Great service, great product. Very friendly lady. Even threw in a couple extra donuts! Preferred donut shop for me.

This place actually makes *really* good kolaches. The breading is perfect and fillings top notch.

I have stopped in twice since they opened. Both times the staff was super friendly and helpful. The donuts we got were very fresh, the sausage and cheese kolaches also was fresh and warmed up for me. Finally the apple fritter was very good. House of donuts is a great addition to the area and they are nut free so it’s Katy ISD friendly.

I tried a boudin kolache and a bacon, egg, and cheese kolache. Both were fresh and delicious. So glad this place is right by our house! Our 2 year old son gobbled up his chocolate with sprinkles donut. We’ll be back soon.
