EZ Floors

EZ Floors took my challenge and aced it! My husband and I were moving into a new home in the Katy area and needed to have floors installed, we had a very tight window when we went in to see Soloman and team to discuss options. The window of time was only four days and covered a weekend, we had an empty house and didn’t want to do an installation after we moved everything in. Soloman said he could do it and he came through with flying colors. We ended up signing a contract on a Tuesday, he had the product in hand the next day and a team on-​site ready to install on a Friday. They installed approx. 1,300 sqr feet of laminate upstairs including a stairway and a master closet on the first floor. They did a wonderful job, no cutting corners and had the entire second story and stairs done in one day. They returned on a Sunday to finish the closet, which was quickly done.
The team was very nice, they listened to concerns and consulted when they had questions, overall this was a great experience and we will use Soloman and team in the future for our bathroom remodel and other flooring projects!!!

After shopping the competition, we found EZ floors to be the best price around. Our salesman, Solomen, was helpful and informative. He guided us to a product that was perfect for our needs.
We scheduled the installation a few weeks out (our choice) and when our date arrived, the crew was on time, extremely friendly and extremely fast. The whole project (about 900 square feet of wood flooring) was complete in under two days, and even if one of the guys left a toilet seat up, I’ll get over it because our floors look outstanding! We are completely happy with EZ Floors, Solomen the sales guy, and the entire installation team.

Unorganized, unprofessional, and flat out disappointing.
Please do your research before going with this company, and settling because of low prices. When given a quote, we were brought a piece of tile we selected and agreed on. We signed the contract, put our down payment down, only to be completely trapped into a bad situation. EZ floors is an awesome name for these people, the EZ way of doing things must be what they take pride in.
First, we were given a date, not asked. They told us this would be a 1 day project, the guys randomly left during the day leaving only one person to finish by himself, causing it to take 3 days. We had to abruptly cancel all plans and leave work due to their lack of unorganization. The best part-​hese people showed up at our house to install a completely different tile than the one we agreed on, and didn’t show us until after they completely ripped off all of our carpet!!! But wait– you cancel on them then you pay their 35% restocking fee! We completely stopped the workers and took off of work to go speak with the manager, in hopes of him helping us with possible alternatives to the tile we originally wanted. His nonchalant «you gotta live with it, you pick it» unhelpful attitude had me seriously considering giving then their 35% restocking fee and moving to the next company.
Unfortunately we made the wrong decision and went forward with the installation. My stairs are covered in glue leaking from the installation and tile still covered in grout, which EZ floors says is my responsibility. Thanks EZ floors, you’ve done everything but make things ‘EZ’ for us. The ending result was a mess, I do not recommend wasting time or money on these people.

I doubt this company stays in business much longer. We called them four different times just to ask simple questions about their inventory and they constantly have us wait for a guy to call back. finally we got in contact with someone after chasing them for a week. They agreed to come out for a price quote. Of course, they stood us up. No call, no text, no apology. I am tired of chasing these people to give them money. Sorry, I will be going somewhere else. I sincerely hope you get your act together as we have used you before years ago and were impressed. The way this business is being run is unorganized and unprofessional now.

Received a check in the mail with a small refund. Unexpected and appreciated. I guess they understand after all how inconvenient the whole process was.
