I usually a tough customer when it comes to food and drinks. I’ve to say that Drix has exceed all my expectations! Just had the Atlantic wild caught Salmon and it is divine! Also, the Mango martinis are to die for… So yes, Drix has earned its 4 stars!

Worst service ever!!! I’d give it half a star if I could. Their happy hour prices are not much of a difference to their regular priced menu. Nothing«happy» about that. Their sangrias were watered down and just pure bland. Half of the star goes to the«steak» portion of the steak tenderloin skewers. We asked for more veggies to substitute the mashed potatoes. Didn’t happen. Their margherita fresca flatbread hardly had any sauce and each section only had half of a tomato with some pieces being too thick. I also requested it to be extra crispy but it came out super soggy instead. It was the worse I’ve ever had. There was a guy who came in and sat in the bar area(2 seats down from me) for literally 15 – 20 mins without being acknowledged at all. Of course he left and we would too had we not ordered our food before realizing how bad the service AND food was. Would never come back here again!

Nothing to brag about here unfortunately. The service is just terrible. Maybe it was a Friday thing and that’s their busy night, no sure but we waited and waited for everything. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not exciting either. The wine bar concept is right up our alley and this place has so much potential that I doubt will ever be realized. Katy needs places like this, but when you compare it to places in Houston it’s just no where close. On a final note, they could at least consider their wine pricing… La Crema Pinot Noir… $ 60! That bottle is less than $ 20 at the store, a 3X markup is just wrong… and the wine selection itself s nothing to brag about either.

I gave two stars because the manager tried to accommodate us. We went in for dinner not knowing they did not serve hamburgers during the dinner hour. They«found» hamburger patties and would be able to make them for us. I had the scallops and for twenty dollars I expected a much better presentation than what I got. It looked like a five year old put my plate together. The truffle fries were good but the flatbread was mediocre… The tomatoes were not even red… More like a white pinkish color. It took forever to get the bill and the waitress was not very attentive. Tried it but will not be going back.

I’m not sure where in Katy someone can find a Sunday brunch buffet for $ 12.99. The spread was as good as it gets as it included pastries, coffee, fresh cut fruit, fruit salad, two different kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, pesto chicken and jalepeno chicken flatbread wraps. The bacon was nice and crispy, the way I like it. The biscuits were probably my favorite — homemade and fresh out of the oven. The flatbread was spicy and was also a favorite. There were four in our party — two had the buffet and two ordered the Drix Breakfast Sandwich($ 9) and added a side order of French toast, new to the menu($ 2). The sandwich was loaded with eggs, bacon and mozzarella cheese. It also came with fruit salad and a delicious, crispy potato patty. The French toast was buttery and crispy served with a side of butter and syrup — it was the perfect portion too. To be noted: the fruit salad is not just a mix of fruit in a bowl. It is cut fruit served in yogurt mixture, topped with a healthy amount of cinnamon and walnuts — very tasty. Reason for the 4 stars — although the waitstaff was constantly checking on the buffet to make sure it was full, the buffet was a bit messy with food spills. Also, some of the items had been sitting for awhile and needed to be warmer. For such a great price, we will be back!

Came here for Mother’s Day brunch and was a little shocked by the price. It didn’t include a mimosa which I can’t understand one drink wouldn’t have put you under. Epically since the buffet was small. The live music was very nice. Coffee was amazing. Bottom line I don’t think I’d come back.

I tried this restaurant for the first time last week on Sunday for brunch, loved it! I had some scrambled egg tacos and my friend had eggs that came with potatoes, the potatoes were great! So, I came back today for a salad and loved that too! I did see they have a play area for kids so will be coming back for dinner soon!

Just ate at drix… worst food, worst service and the ambiance gets a 2 out of ten. You should receive a full refund as you leave

This is the only quality bar restaurant on the entire Mason Rd in Katy. The staff are welcoming and skillful. The food is great and reasonably priced. It is worth the extra couple of minutes drive south of the I-10 to get to. It is great for business lunches and as a meeting place prior to going out.

After a week of travel, I was looking for a lowkey Friday evening out for drinks and appetizers with friends. I’ve been going to Drix for a while. after a very bad start, they had upped their game both with food and wait staff. However, this time a problem that has been brewing there for a while finally exploded… the daycare side spilled over into the adult side. Young kids, some barefoot, were running around. their parents had dumped them at tables on the kids side and were hanging out at the bar. The kids were running back and forth doing what kids do. I don’t blame the kids. I blame the parents and the staff for letting kids run amok into the bar side. Drix needs to decide if they are a wine bar or a Chuck E Cheese. I won’t be going back.

Love their brunch. Very reasonable, small and perfect portion. Dinner: Paella was ok but tapas were great. Their mashed potato is awesome.

Ya no. Bathrooms dirty(not messy… dirty). The place has terrible design — the space isn’t built for when it’s cold outside. Waitress we had might have been new — she was nice but frantic when it was slow and either didn’t know the menu or lacks a bit of common sense. Martini was good. Food — meh. I will give it one more try in a couple months though.

My husband, a neighbor, and I went to check out the breakfast buffet on a Sunday. We got there about 20 minutes after they opened and it was already hopping. We were seated quickly, but then had to wait a while to even see our waiter(Daniel) to get drinks ordered. We all got the breakfast buffet. It’s priced good. $ 11.99 per person with a decent selection. The fruit was fresh(good watermelon), good chicken fajitas, and my he’s band really liked the quesadillas. We saw our waiter maybe twice after we selected the buffet and we only came to pickup empty plates. He didn’t check our drinks that were low. When we were done, we had to wait a long while to see him to notice that we were ready for the checks. Overall, the food is good for the price, but the service needs to be improved on.

Romina was our server. She was great! Drinks were kept filled and order was accurate. Food was good. I liked the kids $ 1 a la carte options. Hubs ordered the ribeye which he liked but not sure it’s $ 27 good. I got the eggs Benedict with salmon(they call it something else) it was good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ciabatta bread instead of using the traditional English muffin but I would order it again despite that. Overall, good experience and we will come back.

Go to Drix for the following reasons: HH, a great Sangria, the Tuscan Hummus, the steak kabobs, spinach dip, Katy people watching, it gets interesting after HH! They also have $ 1 kid menu items(not the meal), and finally the best and number one reason: to get your kids or your friends kids out of your hair! Seriously, why don’t more restaurants have a kids playroom within the restaurant? Finally you can take your kids out with you and everyone’s happy! Lol

Went here Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I got the chicken Marsala, which was good– nothing mind blowing. The white sangria was excellent. The staff was very rude to a friend of mine, asking her if her hair was done a certain way because she lost a bet. I can’t imagine talking to someone like that. He thought he was cute and laughed, but my friend was very hurt. Our waiter was great– did not get any of the orders from our large party wrong. Overall, I enjoyed it and would try it again, but probably only at happy hour because of the very expensive prices.

Drix has a great wine menu but we came on a Sunday and although the waitress was extremely nice, the service was slow. We ordered a few appetizers and it took along time to get them. Once we got them, to our disappointment they were both cold. The waitress admitted in her words, «being a crappy waitress» and laughed and to her defense it was busy. She kept a smile on her face and we happily paid the tab and left.

They are a bit pricy, especially for cocktails, but that can be remedied by going during happy hour. The food is good. Love all the appetizers. I would go weekly for the truffle fries!

I wanted so badly to love Drix as they were very helpful over the phone in my question of accommodating my diet(vegan). Well, we went on a not so busy rainy Saturday afternoon and my children loved the play area up until 3 other children who were absolute terrors came and destroyed the room. My children got hit by these children, those children also unplugged and moved the computers around, threw the chairs around and were just all out horrible. Now, I understand that isn’t the restaurants fault but we did inform the waiter of them and he did nothing. Not a word to the parents. Why bother having rules posted if you do not plan to enforce them? Moving on to the service and food: Our waiter was very kind but he did not listen ATALL. I could tell right away but decided that maybe he was just a pro and was going to remember it all. Nope. We got 2 appetizers we never ordered and my meal of eggplant arrived in the form of runny chicken eggs. He got that very wrong. The kids pizza was nothing more than flatbread with a tiny amount of sauce and cheese. When my meal finally arrived, as they had to redo the order, it was one 5 inch long piece of thinly cut breaded eggplant with sauce on it and 4 tiny pieces of broccoli. That was all. I’m certain the menu stated it came with a salad and rice. I was already fed up with this place so I decided to just get my children and leave. We paid for our meal and left. We will try again another day but I will be requesting a different waiter.
