great venue ! but make sure you bring your own food since the food is expensive and to top this be very careful because of the no refund /exchange policy on tickets you can not use!

come early and stroll around the grounds because it’s gorgeous. it gets sweltering in the summer, and they charge top dollar for water, so bring some or find one of the fountains. everything else is lovely. the stage changes entirely with each shift of the lights. one minute the columns are purple, the next, seafoam. that alone is something to watch – the lighting team are impeccable, casting the already-beautiful area in a new light. literally. ha.

Great for live music outdoors. Get here early armed with a picnic and some time to walk the well maintained grounds to view the exhibits before the live music starts.

Great Outdoor Venue for Jazz and Classical Music. Wonderful concerts throughout the summer and a wonderfully ran Concessions stand by Great Performances. Not much to really say about this place, just a very peaceful and relaxing place to visit.

Amazing venue for outdoor Summer jazz or classical. Gardens aren’t as well maintained this time of year as they are come peak season but architecture, ambiance, and music all gel here on mid-Summer nights.

Caramoor is a gem outisde the city that attracts some of the best musicians from around the world. It’s a luxurious estate in a Mediterranean style, in beautiful Katonah. If you’re in the area, it would be a nice treat to visit just to walk around the grounds(pretty both when the flowers are blooming and also when the leaves are falling, I think), but why not go on a concert day and see the house/museum and grounds before the concert? There are classical concerts, but also jazz and cabaret, morning concerts, indoor concerts in the beautiful music room, and summer concerts in the Spanish Courtyard. And as a little treat for Metro North-taking classical music lovers, you’ll pass through the station«Valhalla» on the way to Katonah!
