Canine Commons Dog Area At Beaver Dam Park

Great set of 3 dog runs that almost hits every mark.
Things it has going for it:
— Separate large and small dog areas
— Large dog run is huge
— Small dog run has a canopy
— Dedicated parking
— Port-​a-​potty in parking lot
— Enough shade
— Poop bags provided
— Good fencing
Things it has going against it:
— No water in either dog run
— Fee to use dog runs
This is one of the better dog parks in the Hudson River Valley. You do need a permit to have your dog in these runs. If you are non-​resident you can obtain one for $ 5 a day. They also have a separate agility run. Ironically these runs at Beaver Dam do not have a water source. Add more seating and bring in water in all dog runs and this is a 5 star run.
