A little small and was a bit busy during the lunch hour which I anticipated. So I called our order in earlier that morning. Quick service. Sandwich was delicious! And a great price if splitting with with a few friends. Aloha Lemondade is a few doors down. Goes great with their subs! I love fresh and REAL lemonade!

My first time here and I absolutely love this place! It is very much like Stortos in Haleiwa but it has a lot more variety. It is a little pricier than Stortos but it is well worth it. I got the Cloud Break and it was so ono! The half sized subs are so filling and at a decent price. I am so glad this place opened up because now I don’t have to drive all the way to North Shore for a great sub:) I highly recommend the papaya seed dressing on any sub you order because it is so good.

First time in the Kapolei location; great service from the local girl at around 2:45pm today. Walked me thru the ordering process; made it easy for me. Used the Perka free app to get a free combo add-on, which got me a free drink & chips. She even reminded me to pick up the free package of chips. Would definitely come back!

The sandwiches at Aloha Subs were soft and the fillings were flavorful. I also downloaded the Perka app, when I got home. The next time you visit, you will get a free soft drink when you show your Perka app to the cashier. If you visit more often and sign in several times you will be able to get a free sandwich.

Awesome friendly service and I love the Kelly Slater! So happy that I don’t have to drive to Haleiwa anymore for a bomb sandwich!

Great place for a sub sand! Great place to grab and go! I’ve seen Yeeps post pics from the Aiea store and have been wanting to give them a try but just haven’t had a chance. Then one day I saw a check in from one of my Yeep friends and I immediately made plans to be here soon as possible. So glad I did! This place is still very new to the area and I really like it being here. The place is just right with its calming dark blue black and wood floor look interior. Square tables with four chairs each line the left and right of the area fronting the cash register. The lighting is just enough bright so you can eat in calm peace. Place your order by phone and in about 10 minutes, your order will be ready at the cashier! Finding parking just before and during lunch might be the biggest issue but there are lots of parking stalls in the surrounding parking lot. After that, you’ll have to wait in a line to the cash register but it does seem to go fairly quickly. It would be terrific if there could be a second register just for pick ups. Place your order at the cash register and they’ll make your order right there on the spot for you at a separate counter just behind the cashier. They have weekly specials posted at the door but the only sandwich I’ve been interested in and that I’ve tried so far(twice) is the Adam Sando. Contents are turkey deli meat with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, those yellow-green vinegary and hot pepperoncinis, and pickles. They also add a delicious papaya seed dressing. I love veggies and always ask for extra lettuce(there’s no extra charge). You can adjust the ingredients whatever way you want; they are flexible like that. You can order half a sub or a full sub. Price for the full is simply twice the half sub. It would be great if we could get a better deal for buying a whole sub as opposed to just a half. Half a sub will feed one hungry person and half of a half of a sub will feed two ppl wanting a delicious snack. The ingredients are really crunchy and fresh. The breads are tasty and soft. Everything really goes together well from the first bite to the satisfying last. The papaya seed dressing really acts as that extra YuMmY tasty glue. I think the soft mildly dense white bread goes better with this sandwich than the honey wheat choice. Great sandwich! I really enjoy my Adam Sandos! The only thing that would make it better is if they were as stuffed as they originally were just a few months ago: D To explain: The first time a bunch of months ago my sandwich was stuffed full; I just went there again yesterday and the same sandwich seemed less stuffed. This change really affected my initial taste experience not for the better. Dang. They also sell bags of chips and dispense-your-own sodas to go with your sub sandwiches. They have a new«Perka» app that provides loyalty points and rewards. Buy 10 half subs and get one free; open an app account and get a free soft drink. I do appreciate the various type of discounts(military, teachers — get 10% off their purchases) but if I had to choose between the two, I’d rather just have them use the savings to make me a genuinely over stuffed sandwich. Still a great place for a great sandwich!(Thanks to The Earl of Sandwich for inventing the thing!) Try this place out! Thanks for coming to the Kapolei area, Aloha Sub! :D

Today is only my second time here but I feel ready to post my review Both times I got the Half Roadkill sub. The name is a bit playful yet fitting, considering it’s made of: Ham, Pepperoni, Roast Beef, Bacon, AND Avocado… you get your choice of bread(wheat or white and a whole 16″ or half 8″), veggies, and condiments. They have many different subs with names as equally entertaining or a build your own sub option. They also have a vegetarian friendly sub! Talk about service with a smile… the two workers that helped me the first time, also helped me today. They made me WANT to dine in. They answered my questions without hesitation and talked to me like we knew each other for years. I’ll most definitely be back! Goodbye Subway, hello Aloha Sub

A really good sandwich place if you love Storto Sandwiches in Haleiwa but can’t make the drive. You cannot go wrong with papaya seed dressing and sprouts in your sandwich. Aloha Sub is located alongside Thai Lao, Papa John’s, Jamba Juice and Starbucks in Kapolei. I made a phone order since we were pressed for time. This was my first time to try this place and Christine was able to assist me with my questions. Pick up is pretty easy and Lorena was prompt with ringing up my phone order when I arrived. The facility is clean and there are some tables for those who want to dine in. They offer 10% to military and students so show your ID when you pay. I ordered the Tow-In with provolone, lettuce, sprouts, papaya seed and honey mustard on white bread. From what I recall the white bread is their signature and you could choose from wheat and rye as well. The white bread tastes like sweet bread which adds to the flavor of the sandwich. This sandwich was delicious if you like pepperoni, salami, ham and turkey. I would probably add bacon and avocado to the mix next time. Half of a sandwich was able to fulfill me. Will come back again since the location is so convenient for me.

Location: The shop is located next to My Café and Jamba Juice in Kapolei. Parking is decent but can get packed during rush hours. Food: They make a variety of sandwiches with tons of deli meat. You choose what kind of cheese you want and any condiments like papaya dressing, mayo, mustard and ketchup. I’ve ordered the Adam Sando twice now because of the meat in it. I love the white bread they use on the sandwich. Sprouts and papaya dressing are a MUST on my sandwich. The smaller size is a perfect size for me but the larger size is perfect for my husband. You can make it a meal and have a small bag of chips with either soda, bottled juices and lemonade. Seating: The seating area has a handful of tables inside and a few outside. Service: Staff was friendly and are sandwiches took less than 10 minutes to make during a weekend lunch rush. Discount: They offer a 10% discount to the military, police officers and etc. Overall, I love that there is a sandwich place here in Kapolei. It’s fresh, tasty and different than what’s around the area.

Second time here. First time I had the Kelly Slater, awesome. This trip I got the Tunami, it’s 6oz of tuna with bacon and avocado. I also added provolone and all the veggies. Very good and filling for just the half sandwich. Service was good. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait for your order, this isn’t fast food it’s fresh food!

Sticker still on bell pepper? NOTOK. Was the bell pepper even rinsed? Ive eaten there before and never experienced this but it reminds me to be mindful of checking my food before eating. So as my friend takes his second bite into his sandwich we see a full sticker on a piece of bell pepper!!! I gave 2 stars because they did give us a refund(without tax so I got exactly $ 9.95 back for half of a uluwata sandwich) and I had no problems with my reuben except I thought it was going on the dark type of rye bread. Although my friend tried to eat the rest of his sandwich, he couldn’t. Knowing that the veggie was not checked(or even rinsed bc we felt like you could catch it with just a simple rinse) floored him and he was not happy. *picture posted

Not to be confused with Aloha Salads on the other side of town. I wanted to like this place, unfortunately the product just doesn’t satisfy. The subs consist of 50% bread, 49% lettuce, and 1% deli meat. The bread has the texture of bubble gum – like Wonder bread. Seriously though, a shocking lack of meat on these subs! The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous AND they are very pro military/service worker. Discount offered and promoted if you fall into several categories. This is where they earned a star. Unfortunately I left hungry and dissatisfied from lack of substance.

The subs here are enormous. It is reasonably priced for the quality. We had the famous Adam Sando sub. It was quite delicious. I got mine without bacon, my wife got hers with bacon. The place was clean. The service was very friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we got the custom my sandwich of our choice. My wife states that this is better than subways. My wife loves subways. I plan on stopping back here later this week or another sandwich.

After seeing some of my coworkers and friends eating these monster subs and hearing that they were awesome, of course I had to go grab one! The sandwiches reminded me of Stortos on the north shore, amazing quality meats and produce. Fresh bread and a huge size were pluses in my book. «Half» a sub is more than enough for most people unless you want the full sandwich to share with someone else. My girlfriend doesn’t really like the same meat choices as me so I bought her a half of a Yokohama and I had an Alligator Rock. Delicious and quite filling, I wanted to take a nap after from that yummy in my tummy. Don’t forget the drink and chips to have with that sandwich. Or you could just get a lot of the Papaya Seed dressing on your sandwich. Aloha subs is a great little submarine sandwich shop located in one of the shopping centers in Kapolei. In the same one as Papa Johns and Starbucks. PS! I saw a few ladies picking up phone orders! That’s really convenient if you’re in a rush and need to just make a quick lunch run.

Everyone compared this place to Stortos(another sandwich shop that i love!). Hearing all these comments about Aloha Sub, I had to check it out! First off, they put in a good effort to match up to Stortos. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my very high expectations. I would probably still head there though if I don’t feel like driving all the way to town or hale’iwa. They have a variety of bread: white, wheat, rye, and wheat wrap. For meats, they have ham, turkey, salami, pepperoni, roast beef, pastrami, bologna, and tuna. For cheese, they had swiss, cheddar, Monterey jack, and provolone. For veggies, they have lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sprouts, bell peppers, etc. For condiments, they have the normals like mayo, mustard, and honey mustard. They also have other dressings such as thousand island, papaya seed, and italian. They also have premium toppings that can be added on for an additional charge, such as bacon & avocado. I decided to design my own half sandwich and tried the white bread. For the meat, you get a choice of getting 3 oz, 4oz, 5oz, or 6oz. I got ham(3oz), swiss cheese, lettuce, onions, sprouts, avocado, bacon, and thousand island dressing. Everything seemed like they gave good portions, but my sandwich seemed very dry which is surprising since I got thousand island dressing. The girl who took my order was nice, but no one else greeted us when we walked in or told us thank you when when we were leaving. Overall, it wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t amazing.

Service: very friendly staff & very helpful Price: the pricing was reasonable and trust me I believe it is worth it once you get your food. My eyes literally went big when I saw the size of my sub Food: the portions will make you not want to go to subway again! The foot long is really big and the meats and veggies are a lot. I really like the amount of choices and there’s so much! I got the Himalayas with sprouts and lettuce and I also added papaya dressing. That alone was very fulfilling. Overall, they are doing great for just opening & I’m so glad they opened in Kapolei. It reminds me of stortos in Haleiwa but yet they are still very different. I would definitely recommend this place! I hope they stay in Kapolei it’s a really great place to go for a sub :)

They are still pretty new, so give them some grace but they definitely have delicious sandwiches and are a great addition to Kapolei! Their sandwiches taste like something you would ideally make at home if you came up with your ideal list of ingredients all prepped up at your fingertips. Bread is delicious, and feels a lot fresher and less processed than Subway. Portions are huge and I’m glad I could eat it for more than one meal! Service was very friendly. We will be back!

Once upon a time, this little girl had to drive all the way to Haleiwa to have a great tasting sub at Storto’s. Then a wonderful thing happened where Aloha Sub opened a Kapolei location! All was wonderful in the kingdom, because now, a great sandwich place has opened to save the starving little girl after a long workout! Now back to reality! This little deli knows how to make a mighty good sub! They have only been open for 2 weeks in Kapolei and I’ve been back twice. Location: Walking in, the restaurant was pretty bare amd simple. There are a couple of chairs and tables for dining in. Besides it’s plain look, It’s really clean and inviting. The menu is easily seen from even outside. Customer service: is superb! I was greeted both times by the friendly staff. The cashier also remembered me! Also, As nit picky as I am with my food(yes that’s me holding up the line asking for whole wheat, lite mayo, hold the cheese and do you have fat free dressings?”), this place makes me feel normal for watching my girlish figure. Food: So I’m not really a fan of sandwiches. YET, this place made me a sandwich believer. I don’t think I could walk into a subway ever again! My favorite choice is the Adam Sando sub! If you like turkey, bacon and avocado, you will love Adam Sando and will stuff in every bite! Overall, for a new place not even a month old, they have great food and friendly staff! I’ll definitely be coming back to get my Adam Sando fix!
