Super friendly manager and girl at the counter. Good selection and advice on what products are best. We got Donna new free diving fins and booties.

This is an excellent shop with super friendly customer service and really great tips on diving and care for gear. They do boat and land dives, too, which I am excited to try next time we are here!

We rented snorkeling equipment from this establishment and was very impressed with the gentleman who helped us. He made sure that the fins properly fit and the mask sealed tightly. We were only charged eight dollars per day for two set ups. We would recommend this shop highly.

we are snorkelers and went in with our friends-they were looking for a couple things for diving gear. we were checking out the snorkel masks-mine was not keeping a seal, ever since i got it, never kept a good seal. The gentleman was really awesome who helped up. he explained the difference between our mask and ones that they had at the store. we told him we didn’t want to spend a lot on a mask but wanted a decent one. he had a couple suggestions. we ended up getting two of the same masks. our friends were helped out as well and got what they wanted. place offered a military discount. the place was really nicely organized. customer service was great, they gave us some toothpaste to clean the masks. they were there to help us and not sell us the whole store.

Was on a cruise in the Hawaiian Islands when my snorkel broke. Was looking for a professional place that had some good quality gear. We stopped by a few places and was worried we would not find something worth spending the money. Then we stopped here at Seasport Divers. They were so helpful. They were not over pushy with trying to sell you things you didnt need, and gave great advice and information on their products. I was only buying a snorkel, but these guys went well and above to help me out. I wish i had more time and money on this island, for I would go to them for any need. My next vacation i may even wait to buy gear until I get here. Thanks for everything guys!

I’m going to write a real candid review of my diving history with SeaSport Divers. I’ve been diving with them for over 12 years now! My first year diving with them was in 2002. My divemaster was Hans, and he was truly great and knew the dive sites so well. He pointed out so many«little» things that I would have never found on my own. Over the next few years I dove with them whenever we were on the island, which is a few times a year for work. Some trips were great, and others just plain were not. Another very memorable dive trip was with Michael, where he shot video of the dive. One of the most memorable I’ve ever had in kauai. It was just one of those days where the visibility was great, the current was mellow, and the sea life was going off. I cherish that video! So, up until my last dive, this place would have had 5 stars, but I can’t in good faith do that knowing they have some of the people working there that they do these days. Now, I have to give an update and it kinda bums me out. My last dive experience with them, if it had been my first, would be my last. The DM was great, young girl, inexperienced, but she did a good job. Not great, but not bad at all. The captain on the other hand, not so much. The current was RIPPING this particular day, so much that we had to call a dive and go to a different location. So I’m at the back of the boat, with a camera and this guy sits there looking at me. NOHELP. I threw my fins on deck as if to say HEY, DOYOURJOB. Not even an acknowledgement. Climbed on the boat by myself and found my seat by myself, almost falling as it was kind of rough out that day. I honestly couldn’t believe this guy. As the next diver came up… same treatment, so I did his job and helped people up onto the boat. If I ever show up there again, and he’s the captain, I’ll get a refund and explain the situation and have them lookup this review.

Very awesome customer service. Went in there for a certain item, Associate was very informal on selections and very attentive. Prices are reasonable as well. The sales associate made my drive from the west side very well worth it, as well as letting me leave very satisfied.

Dove with these guys a few days ago and was a great experience. Good safety brief, great boat, friendly staff. Saw a bunch of dolphins and whales, and boat captain took the time for us howle to take pictures. Will dive again

Extremely knowledgable and friendly service. Dick at the Kapa’a store helped me out for nearly an hour, sorting through diver’s masks before I chose the one best for me. I ended up buying a snorkel, fins, and the mask. Thanks!

I’ve been here a few times and after today’s experience I will not be returning, even if their prices are half of what I pay anywhere else on the island(which I can tell you they’re not). I just went to drop off a piece of equipment for a friend and came out after having an employee yell at me for calling the boss and complaining(I hadn’t called anyone). He also told me there was nothing wrong with the equipment after looking at it for 30 seconds.(To really say anything, the equipment needed to be deconstructed). After my «don’t shoot the messenger» moment I called my friend to figure out what was going on. He called the shop number that’s listed online to set up the appointment for equipment service and happened to get the owner. There are two other shops within two miles of Seasport Divers, one of them for sure has comparable(usually better) prices for similar gear and the other HAS to have better service but I can’t vouch for the prices. I live less than a mile away and I will never visit again.

Friendly service, great prices, and very flexible. Full SCUBA rental for $ 45/day, $ 135/week. They graciously only charged us for the days we used the gear and didn’t charge us for the days we were out hiking or taking a break. Paka at the Kapa’a location was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The people at the Poipu location weren’t as warm.

Highly recommended. The man at the desk was honest, knowledgeable, cheerful, helpful, and obviously genuinely concerned with making sure I had a good time snorkeling… which I did. The equipment was good quality, everything worked well, and at $ 8/day or $ 25/week the price was comparable to prices for comparable equipment at other shops.
