The Home Depot

Putting in my floor. I thought we had all the stuff, nope need some quarter round. Then carpet end things (hey I’m not a pro floor guy) the list goes on, ends to be hammered into my table legs. No matter WHAT! These folks knew what I needed and for the most part where to get it. I can’t count how many times I came here for one small project but thanks to these guys and their help.

Nuts, bolts, nails, wood, tape, lawn, bugs… whatever you need to work on a house or any other project, Home Depot has an answer for you…
They can also do minor repairs, but be aware they subcontract everything out.
They also have all kinds of tools you can rent, buy appliances, or buy a backyard play set kit…
Home Depot can deliver, or you can rent one of their trucks to do-it-yourself…get busy, get dirty, got question… get answers at Home Depot…

You can pretty much get anything you need here if you’re looking to fix something, make a yard pretty, kill some bugs, have a DIY project, etc.
In and out on Sunday afternoon efficiently and quick. No hassle. The sales people are eager to help.
No issues with this store besides the fact that I was forced to come by the boyfriend. haha

Went to Lowes because it was closer, but couldn’t get service. Went to Home Depot next. Wow! Great service. We were helped right away. We are new to the area and have decided this is where we will shop for all our home improvement needs.

When I lived in Texas it seemed not a weekend went by without my going to Home Depot. While I don’t shop as often at Home Depot, I do find it to be a one stop home improvement destination. Not every location is laid out the same, but I think the layout here is practical and makes finding things pretty easy.
If not, there are always a lot of people — sometimes too many it seems — available to help. One of the reasons I stopped shopping at Home Depot was the lack of sales associates and the hassle of finding someone to ask a question or help find what I needed. This seems to have at last been remedied and so I’m again a fan. I noted Christie’s comment in her earlier review and had experienced the same thing back in 2011 so I wasn’t the only one!
There’s always a promotion or sale going on and I receive their notifications via email. They are also good about giving a 10% discount with military ID. The cashier can scan the card and apply it on the spot, unlike at Lowe’s where the cashier needs to call a supervisor, which can often be time consuming.
From time to time, I’ve shopped elsewhere, as Walmart or even Target might have tools or hardware, but there’s really no better place to shop than Home Depot for all of your home repair and renovation needs!

Great sale prices!

All the usual stuff of a home improvement center, minus the excellent service and plentiful staff that once distinguished Home Depot as the «go-​to» DIY store. I miss those days. Now it is mostly self-​service and hard-​to-​find employees. When this scarce commodity can be found they are very pleasant and helpful. I tend to think that Lowe’s (just across Highway 152) tends to be a bit better in the customer service department.
