Let me preface this with I really like Sonic. It’s good and fast. But this place needs to get its stuff together. It was a 20 minute wait to get a Route 44 and footlong. Really? I dis get an apology, but it was not sincere or meaningful. Won’t be back to this one.

Of a couple Sonic’s in the area, this is my preferred one. For the other, we have to cross the mess of traffic for people getting on and off Highway 29 and the Zona Rosa entrance.
Solid place. Never had any issues here. Nothing too outstanding either. This Sonic does have the newer video menus, which is pretty cool.

We stopped for drinks. I do like the new boards with the screen showing your order as you make it. A little disappointed they didn’t honor the $ 0.99 large drinks before 11a when I ordered at 10:55. It just caused me to change my order a bit. The carhop was pleasant and polite. And my drinks were made correctly.

This Sonic has yet to get an order correct after 10 visits. Whether its giving the wrong size for a drink, putting the incorrect toppings on something, or leaving off whole items. Poor service with mediocre food, even for Sonic.
If you want Sonic, avoid this store. There are others within a reasonable distance which will at least give you the proper order.

The chicken fingers, tots, onion rings, and cheddar bites were cold. The chicken fingers were chewy. All the fried food was dried out and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for entirely too long. My wife’s burger was also cold. Hopefully they can get their act together as we love Sonic and would hate to drive past this new one to the «good» one some 30 blocks South. The staff is obviously green and not brought in from other Sonic locations. We will try again in a weeks time.
