The ice cream selection is perfect! Although sometimes there are different ice creams swapped out if one has ran out, they are always good replacements! I think they should be careful about where they drop ice cream when scooping because I found peanut butter in mine… And I’m allergic! I’m sure they don’t put peanut butter in mint ice cream on purpose!!! I think the staff should smile a lot more too and act like they enjoy the job a little more… Other than that i give it 3 stars for the ice cream and tasty candies in the bakery bar and throughout the store. So glad they have gluten free candy!

Outlet storefront for the venerable candy maker. It’s huge, lots of stock, although it’s not prettied up or merchandised in any particular fashion — just shelves and shelves of boxes stacked according to season.(They had Halloween and Christmas stuff on one side, Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July on the other — they’ve got the whole dang year covered between last season’s clearance items & next season’s promos!) Everything was neat and organized, so it was easy to find things. Fairly large selection of sugar-free stuff. Best part was the«bloopers» in the back — they sell assorted boxes of irregulars(you can’t choose beyond a general category like«assorted dark chocolates,» the boxes are sealed.) These not-quite-perfect candies are sold at a bargain price, $ 7.99 for a three-pound box when I visited. Not doing my waistline any favors, but it’s made my sweet tooth happy :-)

This place is amazing! They have every kind of chocolate you can imagine. They even had blooper ones. The ice cream is to die for. I had a 2 scoop triple chocolate sundae with hot fudge and whip cream with a cherry. Soooo good. Highly recommend!

We stopped in not for candy shopping, but for ice cream. Since moving to Maryland from Kansas City, I’ve lived in severe withdrawal from Blue Bell ice cream, so when my granddaughter wanted to get ice cream and I saw Russell Stover nearby with their Blue Bell sign, I couldn’t resist. From the outside, the store looks quaint, like a log cabin, complete with a couple of tables outside. Once inside, it looks more like a warehouse, with boxes and bins all over the place. We went straight to the ice cream counter, where they were quick to take care of us, but when it came time to pay, instead of ringing us up there at the counter(where they had a functional cash register), we were sent across the store to another register. OK, whatever… As we sat and enjoyed our ice cream, my granddaughter wanted to explore the store, so we took off through the aisles. They had some really good deals on candy, especially the post-holiday stuff. She found something to her liking, and we went back to the same register to pay for it where we had paid for our ice cream… and this time, we were sent to the ice cream counter to pay for it! Huh? Overall, the store was in disarray and the staff, while friendly, seemed to lack direction. But if all you want is a bargain, then this is your place.

This is the Russell Stover outlet if you will. You can get some really good deals here. They sell the«irregular» chocolates in a 3 lb. box for $ 6.99. And they have assorted case sales for $ 7.99. I bought a bunch of Halloween candy — some cute Snoopy boxes and chocolate monsters. They have a ton of seasonal items for Halloween and Christmas. There is also an ice cream parlour/soda fountain and freshly baked cookies(oatmeal chocolate chip, hello???)
