We decided to partake in the Wing Wednesday deal for the office consisting of 5 peoples orders. We were quoted 45 min for the delivery, we called 1.5hrs to find out the status of the order. Andrew the manager informs us that the food is ready and they are waiting on the delivery driver. Our order came 2hrs and 15 min after being placed, furthermore to no surprise the food was good and cold after sitting around waiting for the delivery driver. Several of the orders were botched and we called Andrew back to get the correct items, specifically one of the orders was 24 bone out wings. Andrew proceeds to tell us they are all out of bone out wings and so they sent bone in instead and continues how they are the more expensive product so we got a better deal and didn’t bother offering to replace the incorrect item with anything. This location is clearly a mess and is in dire need of new management.

I wish I could put zero stars downtown kansas city pizza hut is the worst. How hard is it to make pizza. Should have stopped ordering from them the first time. My recent experience with the delivery guy I also tipped took a slice of pizza and tried to cover it up. Which mean he rearranged the rest to make it look like it was fine. Ewww who knows where his fingers have been. Never again…

I am not a chain pizza person. I’m usually just a snob about chains, for a variety for reasons, sometimes political. But BF has been unable to eat pizza for months and we heard good things about the new flavors the Hut is offering. On a whim over the weekend I went online and ordered us some pizza. We did the«two-mediums for $ 6.99 each» deal and both made our own custom pies. Both were surprisingly good. The new flavored crust edges are yummy. I had the toasted asiago, he had the classic garlic/parm blend. He had a carnivore concoction on a traditional crust and was happy and full. I had veggies including little Peruvian red peppers, spinach and mushrooms. I had the sriracha drizzle on mine over a base creamy garlic sauce. It was a really tasty pizza. It was more complex than most places allow you to be, with layers of different flavors. Delivery was a little poky. Our online timer had been expired for 10 minutes and we were just calling in to check when the driver arrived. Lesson relearned — not all chains are bad.

It is Pizza Hut, just one step above an average frozen pizza. I do not expect much from this business, just a basic, cheap pizza and a minimal level of customer service; however, I am regularly disappointed. I have ordered from this location four or five times: on several occasions, the order was wrong; on all occasions, staff displays a complete lack of professional attitude and customer service(and I have encountered plenty of minimum-wagers with both of the above); and delivery will usually be estimated at 45 minutes to an hour, yet will arrive after anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours, no explanation, no courtesy call to say the delivery is running late.

NOTE: *Carry out or delivery only* Great Proximity to Quality Hill residents, however, waiting for a competitor to deliver might be a better option. Called in my order, nothing out of the ordinary. Went in to pick it up and could not take my eyes off the excessive dirt under the cashier’s fingernails. I needed to also purchase a gift card and they only had one card, it was dirty and they had no paper cover for it. Once home, pizza and breadsticks tasted great(once I got the dirty fingernails out of my mind) but the chocolate chip cookie dessert pizza was VERY overcooked and dry.

Skip the delivery. It’s over an hour. Always. Go pick it up or order from somewhere else.

Ordered a pizza from this store online at 11:15. It was to be delivered at 12:15. At 12:45 I called to check on it and it was just getting out of the oven. At 2:00pm when it still didn’t arrive, I called back. The customer service person then informed me that it had been taken back to the store after they had tried to call and didn’t get through. I had not received any calls. Amount was refunded and I was left without lunch. Do not order from this store.

Pizza Hut, we all know it and use it because it’s cheap pizza that is relatively reliable. Last night I had about the worst experience I’ve ever had out of a pizza hut and I would like to share it so that if nothing else someone a little higher up reads this at some point. I ordered my pizza and was told to expect about an hour delivery time, which is what I planned for since it was a football Sunday night. At about the 20 minute late mark, I called and was told that business was a little heavier than planned for but that my pizza was up next to go. That’s fine, a little delay happens, that’s not something I’m going to flip out about. That’s about where this takes a nose dive however. 40 minutes past ‘estimated delivery time’ my email sends a missed call alert and my phone pops up with a voicemail from my apartment callbox, so I run over to the front door and was there about 1 minute from the voicemail call log. The driver had already disappeared without attempting a second attempt at my phone(I have all my calls route through email… google voice, it’s an amazing thing). I was outside wandering around, and no one was pulling away. To say that I was pretty upset that the driver didn’t even wait or give a second call attempt was a severe understatement. I wanted to find out how long it would take me to get my pizza delivered back, so I called the main 648‑8888 number and was told I had to talk to the store directly to get that. I asked for the stores number so I could call the store and figure out what was going on. The call center person I spoke with, «doesn’t have access to store phone numbers»…WHAT!!! You mean to tell me that while I’m on the phone with you, you don’t have access to an internet search? Beyond that, how does a pizza hut call center not have access to its store database? After searching for the store’s phone number myself, I called the store directly to figure out where my pizza was and when I could get it back. I spoke with someone who doesn’t put me on mute, but calls over the manager to talk about the angry customer on the phone. Special note to anyone with a phone job… if you’re going to complain about an angry customer who’s waited about an hour beyond when told to expect delivery… use the mute or hold button. So the manager picks up the phone and tells me that the driver is already back and left with other deliveries(that was fast…). I ask him how fast I can get my order back to me, to which he replies that he can give me a discount on my order. That wasn’t the question I asked… I don’t care if I get the pizza free, if I have to wait another hour for it that has no bearing on what I’m asking. I ask again, and he starts giving me the same discount line. At that point I will admit to becoming rude; interrupting him and stating that isn’t the question I’m asking, and that he should perhaps listen before responding. He tells me he has no idea when the order will be back out to me and that he can’t even give me an estimate. At that point I tell him to cancel my order. I’ll be finding an alternate method to supply my guests. So I call Minsky’s in my neighborhood and they tell me they can have me ready to go in 20 minutes. I run back into my apartment to grab my coat to walk over there and as I’m walking out the door(about 20 minutes after this whole debacle started), my phone rings in from a number I don’t recognize, I was on the phone finalizing my new order, so I let it go to voicemail. Once I’m off the call, I listen to the voicemail that says that the delivery girl is leaving my place because I’m not there and I can call the store to arrange for next steps. WHAT!!! I was literally at the front door of the building when that call came through, so I can only imagine that she did that to try to cover herself. Had I not been at the door, I could have believed that she had stopped by again, but I was right there and I know that is completely untrue. So there is some saving grace at the end of this… While I was at Minsky’s waiting to pick up my order, I get a call from a number I don’t recognize, I answer it and it’s someone at the corporate level who had apparently been collecting enough data about the situation to know there was a problem. He had called the store manager and then he called me to tell me that my pizza could be over to me in the next 10 or so minutes. At that point, it was too late to recover my business for that night, but he took the time to listen to what had happened and told me he’d like the opportunity to earn my business back again some time. I told him that right now I was too angry to even consider it, however I would like to say kudos to the corporate level for being able to notice a problem, and act upon that problem. Unfortunately, it was a huge delay that will cost my future patronage of that specific store.

If you’re ordering at Pizza Hut, you know exactly what you’re going to get. It’s like reviewing a can of Coca Cola… you’ve had this product before. So really, there are only a couple of things you need to know. They can be fast, but in their haste sometimes forget to cut the pizza all the way. Invest in a home pizza cutter. They have the best delivery driver OFALLTIME! A short, middle aged gentleman of dubious ethnicity, when he knocks on your door, sometimes he’ll say«Pizza Pizza! Who wants Pizza?» in his adorably unidentifiable accent. I tell you what, it always brings a smile to my face. If you want crappy pizza, you may as well get it from a guy as friendly as this!

If you live in Quality Hill, you’ve called for a P’Zone before. You get what you pay for. That is to say, you get dirt cheap pizza and the convenience of having it in your backyard.

I think living within 300 feet of this location makes me like it a little more. It is exactly what you expect from a pizza hut so I am not going to rate on quality of the product because we all know there are better pizzas out there but they are very timely and consistent with other pizza huts.
