Clean and very friendly staff quick service and nice menu. The pizza was good quality but the flavor was bland.

This chain’s concept is similar to Topp’d. At both, you walk along a line, make your choices, they create the pizza, bake it, and you have it in about 5 minutes, if the line is not long. But there are differences. In terms of healthy choices, Pie Five makes it easy. You can go online, experiment with various combinations of crust, cheese, sauce, and toppings and immediately see the resulting calories, carbs, sugars, sodium, etc. In fact I was rather surprised by what I sometimes found. I went there and ordered the combinations that I had found online to be unusually healthy. Indeed it was ready rapidly. But don’t expect pizza comparable to what you would find at a restaurant having a wood-fired brick oven and seeking to approximate what you might find in Naples or New York City. In fact, even the pizza at Tapp’d tastes better than the pizza at Pie Five — much better. In short, if you want fast healthy pizza, you won’t be able to do better than Pie Five anywhere, especially if you do a bit of experimentation with the online choices. But if you want the best tasting pizza, forget about the calories, carbs, sugars, and sodium and the time taken to bake the pizza in a brick oven, and go elsewhere. On the other hand, since all Pie Five Pizzas are priced the same, you might as well add lots of toppings, cheeses, and sauces. That might really pick it up. While you’re at it, try the Caesar side salad. It’s really good here. In fact I liked it better than the pizza.

Great place to get a personal pizza. Fast and fresh only in Westport. Great service from behind the counter.

Pie Five is becoming one of my favorite pizza places to go. They have a great selection and you can modify your pie any way you want. That with a nice cold beer and it hits the spot.

This is basically a Subway or Chipotle for pizza. It’s pretty dang good and super quick. The food is up to par. It’s a quick and cheap eat. The staff is nice, i’ve had no problems at this joint. Very good!

Amazing customer service and fabulous product. Walked in and it was clean and well maintained. Went to counter and was delighted by enjoyable lady with blue/green hair. I was a first timer and she walked me through every step. Got Jack Stack pizza and a cheese. My wife and I couldn’t believe the quality and speed of product. It was yummy. Check out cashier friendly too and interacted with my child— huge bonus when someone does that. I would recommend restaurant to anyone and can’t wait to go again!

I love Pizza and when I found Pie five, I was ecstatic! This review takes in two separate visits and two completely different experiences. First visit, the food was very tasty(I had a High Five) and the service great. I was so happy, I went the next night and ordered for myself and a friend. This was not so happy. There was a gentleman who made the first pizza, but when he put the sauce on, he left about an inch and a half of crust exposed on the perimeter. The young lady who was topping the pizza pointed it out to him and he replied, «I know.» WTF?! If you made a mistake and you knew it, why didn’t you fix it. Did you think«Oh this is some random new guy and he won’t notice?» This was a huge issue in my book because that not only speaks to customer service, but also food prep quality. The food tasted good after the young lady corrected his error, but I must say I am a little off put by the handling by the young man. As to the young lady, kudos for being on your quality game and being honest. I will go back, but will make sure I am watching prep like a hawk.

Love this place for quick pizza. They have really filled a niche for fast individual sized pizzas, it seems like before they came along the only way to have pizza for lunch was to wait till we had an office celebration where you could pitch in for pizza, there were no places around other than Sarpino’s to get an individual pizza in the Westport area. I love that their thin crust pizza is actually really tasty, love the variety of topping, and the signature pizzas have all been really good. My only complaint is that they claim it takes 5 minutes to get your pizza, yes only if there is no one in front of you in line, so it’s a bit misleading. It is still doable for a 30 minute lunch if you are nearby.

Great little spot for some quick, tasty pizza! I totally dig the concept, and am glad to know there is a speedy place to get some custom-made ‘za. My only complaint would be that the ingredients(specifically the chicken) just seemed a little low in quality — although for the price I can’t complain all that much.

The guy with the gauged ears has a poor attitude and made t feel like we were bothering him to help us & was extremely rude and continued to complain about work. Unprofessional, the girl at the front seemed to make our experience better with her bright smile and good attitude. The food was awesome, healthy tasting and fresh. I would highly recommend the food, not the people lol

I like the idea, I might have just ordered the wrong thing. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. Which was really just like a bread bowl filled with BBQ soup and a little bit of cheese sprinkled on top. It was gross and kind of made me sick

I definitely like this place for what it is. It is fast food pizza(The«five» in Pie Five is that it rolls through the oven in 5 minutes). The ingredients are fresh and plentiful and for a single price, you can pile on as many as you want. People say it’s got a Chipotle or Subway set up and that’s true but unlike those places, you are able to order a pizza off their menu, customize it if you wish, or make up a completely new pizza all you. At least in KC, nothing else like this exists. I’ve been here for lunch a couple times and it hasn’t been crowded(although when this place catches on, I think the line could be out the door). It’s definitely quick, fresh and tasty. They even have gluten free crust! The space is a little industrial feeling(like Chipotle) so it’s not meant for people to lounge around in. Come. Eat your pizza. Leave. Even so, the atmosphere is spacious and bright and the workers are all super friendly. If you don’t want pizza, they do have salad but they put it in a bread bowl(it looks like their«pan pizza» crust) so that will negate any health benefits you think you’re getting. The pizzas are pretty good sized so I generally only eat half to 2⁄3 of a pizza. Good deal to share if you and a friend aren’t too hungry. So in short, this is a fresh, fast, fun place for lunch or dinner if you’re in the Westport area and don’t mind supporting a chain!

I love pizza! I could eat it all day. When I heard that there were places like this in town, I had to make sure I paid them a visit. Plus, people like to refer to them as a Chipotle for pizza, so I had to visit. I ordered the High Five, their meat-lovers pizza. Really, really good. Wow! I wish there was one of these in the Northland so I could visit more often. My wife got the Chicken Carbonara pizza on thin crust. We both were extremely satisfied. We also came in not long after opening, so we didn’t have to deal with any lines or crowds. We got our food quickly and it tasted great. That’s five stars from me. We will be back as often as we can!

When it comes to quick and easy pizza, it’s tough to beat Pie Five. It’s like the Subway of pizza… Do with that what you will. I mean, it isn’t going to be the best pizza you ever had, but for the price, the convenience… well, I can’t complain. I mean, first off, it’s pretty hard to screw up pizza. They’ve got a few different crust options, sauce options, and plenty of toppings to choose from. If you can’t construct a pizza you would like, well, you are either way too picky or too stupid to put a pizza together. The pizzas I’ve gotten have always been tasty(Because I know how to make a tasty pizza because I’m not a moron) and I’ve been satisfied. For the price, that is all I’m really looking for. To have my hunger satiated and enjoy the taste of it. Pie Five gets that done for me every time. The only knock on the place is really not so much their fault but a common problem with Westport. Parking sucks. If you are there at an off time, no big deal. But if you want to go here during lunch or something, the parking lot for the strip Pie Five in is kind of a mess and is always packed. There aren’t many other good options around either. I’d make this a regular lunch option but it is just such a hassle to deal with the parking. Once inside, all is fine. The line isn’t bad and when there is one, it moves quickly. The staff are friendly, they keep the place clean, etc.

What Fazoli’s is to Italian food, Pie Five is to the pizza genre. Fazoli’s tries really super hard to be fancy Italian food when in reality they’re just cheap fast food. The same goes for Pie Five. They have some fun, signature pizza creations to choose from or you can build your own pizza. There’s a discount if you check in via Unilocal. I can see Pie Five being a big hit in Westport because their pizza is the perfect night-cap to getting wasted at Kelly’s.

Tried out Pie Five this weekend. I was actually headed to The Bunker and found it by shear accident as I was searching for a parking spot. Perfect timing! My kids were starving. I didn’t know the concept of the restaurant until I walked in. So, we get to pick our crust, our toppings, sauces? Cool concept! It was a bit hectic at first because nobody was paying attention(my kids that is) and I felt some pressure because there were a few people in line behind us. The people in front of us however, were slow to make their choices so we had plenty of time to decide. I thought the line would be faster moving(like a Chipotle or Subway as some reviewers referenced) but it was slow moving on this trip. I estimate it was approximately 10 minutes to get ours ordered and then another 5 or so to check out. I checked in on my Unilocal app and I had a cool $ 5 for any pizza coupon pop up! Bonus. This saved us a couple more bucks. We ordered 2 small customized pizzas(High Five like a «supreme» with meats and veggies), two kids pizzas, 4 drinks and two pieces of cookie pie for around $ 24 total. The pizzas were good. Everything tasted fresh and nobody had any complaints. The guy shaking the spices on at the end was friendly but probably should have been wearing gloves. Just saying. I’m pretty picky about people handling food in front of me. Check this place out if you’re in the area. It’s pretty quick, affordable and tasty to boot! Be sure to check in to get your coupon. :)

3.5 stars. The Chipotle/Subway comparisons are very apt. I really like pizza, so that can lend itself to some high standards, especially after being spoiled by the options in NYC. So yes, while it is impressive to have a fully customized pizza cranked out in 5 minutes, complete with an optional«magic dust» sprinkling of herbs and cheese… You do feel a bit like you’re missing soul here. They are doing a good job of making the space feel clean and nice, even with some local tie-ins. And it may well be local, but from concept to execution it feels like a somewhat sterile national chain. Which, compared with Johnny Jo’s, just doesn’t hold up. Johnny Jo’s, please open for lunch on the weekends. Please. However, there is good news. While you are lamenting the loss of your soul, there are some fantastic happy hour specials. Boulevard beer for $ 1.25 on the weekends? Yes. Let’s do that. It will help to cope with the sense of delocalized loss of self that afflicts us in modern suburban America: Sure it’s safe, but we can’t help but wonder if there are better, more vibrant options out there.

Imagine a Chipotle or Subway but with pizzas. That best describes Pie Five Pizza. You line up, customize your personal pizza to your liking by choosing the sauces/toppings, wait in line as your pizza finishes baking(probably under 5 minutes), and pay for your food. I thought it was an interesting idea especially with pizzas so I decided to check it out. I believe this location opened up back in November 2014. Stop! That’s all you need to know about this place and that I thought the pizzas tasted good. One pizza would be enough for one person. Gluten-free crust was one of the four crusts offered since I know some people prefer gluten-free. Come check it out! Continue on if you want to read the rest of my very lengthy review. It was a Wednesday night around 6:45pm on a freezing night and there were a few people eating here. The parking was limited in the tiny Westport outlet(same one where Freebirds and Which Wich was located in). One of the first things you will see would be the menu on the wall. There were around 10 pizzas you could order that Pie Five Pizza came up with(each pizza was $ 6.99) and the ingredients were listed for all of them. You also had a choice to customize your own pizza with the different crusts, sauces, and toppings listed(each pizza was $ 6.99). They also had salads on the menu but I don’t remember how much they were. I did my research prior to coming here by looking at the menu on their website so I knew what I wanted. lol I ordered the Tuscan Chicken and the High Five and asked that they were made the way they were on the menu. I chose Tuscan Chicken because my friend told me she wanted to try that if she made her way here. The High Five just sounded awesome with the five different meats. This might be important to some but I asked if they were able to make one pizza but with half of one of their 10 pizzas(i.e. half Tuscan Chicken and half High Five). They said they were able to do that if that was what I wanted to do. I told them that I was just wondering and I still wanted two pizzas. I don’t know how they would accommodate the different crusts if they did half and half like that since the Tuscan Chicken was an artisan thin crust while the High Five was a classic pan crust; however, they were recommended crusts so I suppose whatever goes! Maybe next time I will make my own pizza with two different crusts to see how that will go. After the pizzas were done baking, they asked if I wanted to add anything to the pizza like Magic Dust. I read about the Magic Dust and even my hair stylist told me about it since she was here earlier. Magic Dust was a blend of Parmesan, Romano, and Italian seasoning which sounded good to me. There were 3 desserts on display close by: Chocolate Chip, Turtle Brownie, and Ultimate Brownie. It was $ 1.59 for a slice or $ 9.99 for the whole pie so I ordered a slice of the Ultimate Brownie as well as ordered a soda(don’t know how much this was). There was a promotion or something(I wasn’t quite clear what it was) that was only for a limited time where the pizzas were $ 5 each from 4pm-10pm or 11pm. The pizza, dessert, and soda was considered a Pizza Bundle which was $ 9.99 so my total was most likely a little cheaper than with the original prices I listed earlier in my review. You could pay $ 5 for building your own pizza or one of their signature pizzas if you check in to this place on the Unilocal app(though I don’t know how long that would last). There was only two flat screen TVs and were pretty much on opposite ends of the place. A section along the wall had those half booths and half chair tables, some outside seating, and high chair tables. Both of my pizzas each had 6 slices and were all more or less sliced evenly. The Tuscan Chicken looked a little sloppy because the toppings were thrown on. I liked the grilled chicken and the sun-dried tomatoes. The artisan thin crust was pretty thin, but I felt that it went well with the pizza which was why it was the recommended crust. The Magic Dust was not bad on this particular pizza and added some more flavor to the pizza. The High Five looked like a mini-deep dish because of its class pan crust but not really. Meat lovers would love this pizza in my opinion and I enjoyed; however, they put a little too much Magic Dust on this one and it was a little overpowering. I was pretty full when I finished the Tuscan Chicken and half of the High Five but I pushed forward to finish the remaining half of the High Five. Last but not least, I managed to finish the Ultimate Brownie slice. A lot of chocolate in every bite and I didn’t think it was too sweet. It did hardened up in some places though while the middle was somewhat soft. The Ultimate Brownie was not as good as I had hoped. Pie Five Pizza would be great for anybody wanting to eat pizza in a hurry since it was pretty quick to make and bake. I thought it was relatively inexpensive, too. Try it out!

A great place to go with your family when no one can decide which pizza to get. My family of four(including a 3-year-old and 13-month old) all enjoyed our pizzas. We also ordered a ceasar salad to share. All of our pizzas were devoured and everyone(except the 13-month old because she didn’t really have a choice) loved that they could choose everything they wanted on their pizza — no compromising! Even though there was a long line when we arrived, it moved pretty quickly and the service was great! This is a great option for a quick, tasty pizza. A great option if you want everyone in your group to be happy!
